On Sunday 7:25 pm I made an order at Midways website. The order was for over $900 and was multiple items. Well this morning after I made this order on Sunday, less then 36 hrs after I made it Midway sends me an email "Friends & Family" exclusive. It showed some of the items I bought are now on sale. Please remember I made this purchase on Sunday night, (No one available at Midway at the time) When I saw this email from them which was 5am my time, NO ONE available at Midway to discuss this. So I had to wait for them to open up and when they did I used the chat service. I got ahold of Rachel. Who admitted not only can she not make the adjustment because POLICY is they will do it only within 24hrs but the order has not even shipped yet. Please tell me in the world of logic where this makes any sense? This company has not even shipped the items and because they solicited me for items I had just bought 36hrs before, they wont do anything for me. I have ordered a carthartt shirt from Midway in mid-March. Estimated delivery March 20th. Midway has not delivered the shirt, nor have they sent me any information on the status. I emailed them about it and they said they did not know what the status was. They are no accepting phone calls and have posted the following notice on their site. "Due to the impact COVID-19 has had on our business, we've stopped taking phone calls and web chats to redirect as many Customer Service Employees as possible to shipping orders. Additionally, we're still responding to emails unless they're regarding product availability. The most accurate in stock information we have from our Suppliers is on our Product Pages. If the status is Temporarily Unavailable, we don't have accurate delivery information. If the status is Overdue, it's late and we hope to receive it soon." They are hiding behind the Covid-19 pandemic to absolve themselves of the responsibility of fulfilling order or refunding money. A sham. read more

I've been ordering from MidwayUSA for many years and I can't for the life of me understand all the bad reviews posted on Yelp! If I had to be critical of MidwayUSA I would say their shipping is a bit slow (spoiled by Amazon), but I've never had a problem with pricing, returns, or any aspect of customer service. NOT MILITARY FRIENDLY Web site shows in multiple places to know your state laws, which I am familiar. I made a purchase of some .22 LR ammo to ship to CT where I currently reside and have a state-issued pistol permit that covers ammo purchases as well. After accepting my order and my permit, they sent me an email stating that they need a CT-issued DL or state ID to ship or they can ship to my home of record ID on my DL (Washington state) if I have an FFL AND and firearms registration certificate, of which WA requires neither. I inquired about other forms of ID, as my husband is active duty military on orders in CT, so we don't have CT DLs. They said it was their company policy that permit and DL are required and have to match, even though their posted state restrictions show only the permit and "goverment-issued ID" not specifically matching state-issued. CT only requires any gov-issued photo ID secondary to an ammo certificate, while the pistol carry permit does not. And apparently they don't know the difference between WA and DC as the FFL and reg. cert. is the requirement for DC. At least they said they deleted my account and contact info from their mailing lists upon my request - I won't do business with a company that purposefully develops company policies that restrict firearms even moreso than the gov't does, especially when it punishes military families. read more

I would NOT recommended to buy from this website !! first of all, they put a on sale item (Federal 223/556 ammo) with a great price and plus they have their coupon code on their web site to bring down the price to an unbeatable price, then they realized they make the mistake on their own web site for this item on error pricing. They forced return on my order (mean they marked as item returned without asking me). THEN they charged my credit card for the amount of the transaction. Great job, big scam !!! Truly awful, dishonest company, I should have headed the many bad reviews. They destroyed my product with negligent shipping by folding an item that should not be folded and stuffing it as tight as they could in the smallest box it would fit in and they offered zero solution. In fact they got very belligerent. They wanted me to pay to ship it back and then pay for shipping to get a replacement to me before Christmas. I wish that I had consulted this site prior to ordering a Barska Red-Dot gun sight from them. When I received the sight I found that it was too large for the gun I wanted to use it on. I attempted to return the sight, unused and in its original packaging. I was told by Michael and Brianna that I has waited too long and that their policy did not tolerate returns - and they would not reconsider. I can't help noticing how many "very poor" ratings that Mid Way Customer Service has received from their on-line customers. I've always shop @ Amazon before I shop @ MidwayUSA. If Amazon don't have the parts I need, MidwayUSA is my 2nd choice. Order a 300BLK barrel a few months ago. Received it and found out the gas port wasn't drilled. eMail and called customer service. They conduct an investigation and found the defect. They had me ship the barrel back for exchange, but they were out of the barrel and refunded back to my debit card. They refunded the full amount + shipping charge. I recently order 2 sets of reloading dies (.40sw and .223), can't wait till I get my dies. read more

I'm not surprised that this place has a three star rating. I'm betting it will continue to plummet if they continue to ignore the voice of their customers. I have ordered a couple thousand bucks worth of merchandise from them. On my last order, I noticed that one of the items had gone on sale. It was 10 days from the purchase date, and they would not do a price adjustment. They lost a good customer over $40. OpticsPlanet.com gives 30 days for price adjustments. On a separate incident, I placed an order, cancelled it that same day, but the funds to my credit card were not available for 5 days. They have a big business, unfortunately for them it's all about the money. They don't care about their customers. Also, OpticsPlanet.com will give price adjustments up to 30 days later. read more

These guys are trash. Ordered glock 19 slide, sent me a glock 17 slide. Put channel liner in before noticing -- they were identical and didn't notice until I went to put it on the frame. Anyways the channel liner won't come out, so it would need to be pulled out with a lag bolt. So I ask them to send me a new one when they send me the correct parts. They wont, they wont replace a $3.50 part that got messed up due to their error. Plus, when I ask for an overnight back, again because this is all their error, they will not. Customer service is atrocious. Buy from somewhere else! Wish I would have looked at reviews before using them. read more

I purchased a pair of Huk boots. I wore them one time. They were the grey ones made for boating. The boots felt fine but the problem was that they turned yellow. I called Midway and they pretty much gave me the run around and claimed that they were heavily worn which is a lie. I wore them once. The staff at Midway refused to replace the boots claiming I must have gotten something yellow on them. They passed me off to another company which I have gotten no response. It is not the $100. boots that I am concerned about, but when I saw the owner of Midway USA on TV being such a nice fellow, I felt his company would have a little more class. If you are looking to purchase something on line from this company you should think again. They do not have your back and that guy that says THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS, IS AN IMPOSTER. Customer service is awful. Basically their policy is: if you don't receive your package within 3 week, then shut up and wait some more. I called their "customer service" line, and that's basically what I was told. They wanted to tell me "all shipping" is being seriously delayed. Apparently me getting dozens of packages within three days from everyone else under the sun is an anomaly, and the three week wait with no delivery experienced by Midway USA is the "norm". If they cared about customers they would fix their processes. Their business model seems to be: take their money and see if they eventually forget about their order. read more

Shipping is horrendous. Instead of free shipping I had to pay extra because I'm in Alaska. During the order the estimated shipping date was1 week before my bear hunt. No biggy, or so I thought! 2 days before my bear hunt still not here and they don't know where it is! Tracking was all screwed up. I had to cancel my hunt. Pissed of I called them numerous times to at least find out where it is or get a refund on shipping. But they refused. Customer service sucks. They could have shipped the scope by USPS in a "if it fits it ships" box and been here in 3 days for less what I paid for their "PONY EXPRESS". Will NEVER use them again! read more

Having ordered from them many times before, and being happy with my orders, I was shocked at being charged an additional CHARGE because my order was so small. WTF? Alot of their product is shipped free of charge, you have to dig into the website to find that there is a minimum charge of $25 or you will be charged extra for spending so little. If I knew they were going to screw me for extra shipping "charges" i would have either cancelled the order or spent more. There was never a warning of the overcharge, i TRUSTED them to treat me right! They forgot ive spent many hundreds of dollars on past orders. guess it doesnt matter now that they have my cash. I am reviewing this company because I have done business with them for a decade or more. I also have read the one star reviews and have to believe that there must be some type of omission on the buyers' parts, as I have never had the experiences they have had. I have had backorders, contingency orders, and canceled orders, but never felt they didn't keep me in the loop in each and every case. I have come across items that are out of stock and been placed on "To be Notified" list. A recent example has been some calibers of ammunition. In each instance, I have gotten an email when an item was available. If I didn't get it, it was mainly because demand was so high that others placed orders before I did. Not their fault, I would say. Also, generally, out of stock items are noted on the website and if backorders are being accepted, that is also noted. I have bought all kinds of reloading equipment, shooting optics, and AR-15 Uppers from Midway. Shipping has usually been prompt, but I dislike the use of the USPS as the last leg delivery agency. It always seems it takes 1-2 days longer than UPS solely. I would not order from any online firm if I needed the item yesterday. Too many things out of their control to do that, such as the storms this winter. The only minor gripe I have is that their shipping charges are usually higher than other suppliers. But it is my obligation to check shipping fees with them and other suppliers, so I am not working blind when I use them to buy from. It means I judge the shipping fees to be OK and other factors are such that I want to order from them. Their return policy is fair, but I have not had to return more than 1 to 2 things in the decade I have ordered from them. Ammo, powder and primers though are NOT returnable ever. read more

I had a recall on an AR 9mm upper receiver. Although they offered a 25 dollar debit on my account to ship it back for a full refund, there was no offers of a substitution or replacement. If I could give zero stars I would. The barrel I just got in the mail from midwayUSA went on sale so I emailed customer service and asked if I wanted to return my barrel and buy it again for the new sale price could they just give me in-store credit so we wouldn't have to ship the barrels back and forth. The email response I got back was "unfortunately that sale is over so we will no longer be able to give you that sale price". Well I emailed them (their live chat was never available) when the sale was happening and they took so long to respond that the sale had ended. I was so mad that there was "nothing" they could do so I emailed the owner of the company and I was surprised to get an email back so quickly but was even more mad come to find out it was customer service responding in his behalf with basically the same response I got the first time. I wanted to save on shipping, so i called in and sent an email. 5 days later, still no call back nor an email. When i called in on day 5, i was told that the order already shipped.
