Put in a $3224.00 order with MidwayUSA for various components for reloading ammunition, etc. When the order arrived, the UPS driver pushed out of the back of the truck something that looked like cardboard, but was wrapped with shipping tape and looked more like an oblong ball. Whatever the package was, it was leaking viscous chemicals, bullets of all shapes and sizes, and a cloud of broken plastic. Apparently, no one with common sense was available in the shipping department that day and whoever it was put more than a 100 lbs of bullets, brass cases, chemicals used for firearm cleaning and lubrication, into ONE box that was only slightly thicker than those cereal is shipped in. The box did not survive the shipping process, likely coming apart the first time it was put on the loading dock of MidwayUSA. The box promptly lost all strength, shape, and integrity, and it had either been dropped (or rolled) off conveyor belts used for sorting packages at UPS. I took several photos of the package AS IT LAY ON THE STREET, which I emailed to MidwayUSA, who chose not to respond to my emails about the damage. I spent dozens of hours on the phone with MidwayUSA's Customer Service, about 98% of the time on hold. The ONE PERSON I spoke with told me that I shouldn't have placed such a large order, then hung up. I even went so far as to telephone the President and CEO of MidwayUSA, and his assistant told me each time that he was not available to speak with me, but, thank you for being a customer. Taking the "package" apart, most all of the plastic containers of bullets were shattered or broken--many smaller bullets were bent; brass cases were dented or smashed; targets, reloading manuals, and books that I ordered were torn and/or soaked with cleaning or lubrication fluids. There were hundreds of bullets loose in the "package"--and it would take an army of people weeks to weigh and sort them, then determine which were still usable. Even the reloading dies were damaged in their plastic cases. Excluding the hundreds of bullets, an estimated 72% of all items ordered were a write-off, totally unusable. MidwayUSA's response? You shouldn't have placed such a large order. I phoned American Express, whose credit card I used to place the order. Their response: "We don't insure items associated with firearms." So much for being a Platinum cardholder. I phoned UPS: the order was over the weight limit for shipping and should never have been accepted. Not their problem. I phoned the CEO of MidwayUSA to engage them in a discussion about the order, which they steadfastly refused to do. "It's YOUR fault for placing such a big order." I asked them if we needed to take this into court, and I was told, and I quote: "We have much more black ink than you do. GO AHEAD, DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO." This is Customer Service? Whatever happened to common sense in the world, putting over one hundred pounds of dense materials into an unreinforced, paper-thin box? Midway USA dropping the ball. I Ordered a firearm and picked a FFL with preferred status at the top of their list. I tracked the delivery with UPS on the delivery date and received a notification the package could not be delivered due to invalid address. I called the FFL who advised they moved to a nearby location 4 months ago and notified Midway. UPS stated Midway would not allow me to change the delivery address to the new FFL location which is only a few blocks in the same zip code as the old location. Midway would not allow the address change. I contacted Midway and was told they would not update the address so the delivery could be made to the new FFL location. During this time, the package was still on the truck out for delivery. Midway told me they would not update the delivery address, and the package would have to be returned to them. Furthermore, they told me they would not refund my money until after they received the package back. I asked them if I could at the very least just keep my sale and have the firearm sent to a new FFL or the updated address for the original one. They told me no. That I would be refunded the money after they received the firearm and that was that. They didn't even offer for me to re-purchase the firearm. So, no firearm, no money, no apology and I will have to wait to be able to purchase the firearm with another business, that is however long it takes for me to get my money back. Speaking of which, no one ever signed for the firearm so why are they withholding my refund? All of this was no fault of mine. This is no way to treat any customer much less a repeat customer who has spent thousands of dollars with them. I will not be doing any more business with Midway. read more

Price at checkout was $842, which I paid. on 6-2-24 my card was charged $872. customer service said that the system had updated the price after I made the purchase. their website clearly states that taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout. Today, 8/17/24 I received an email stating they never received my ID's that stated they asked for in an email. Checking Spam I had never received any follow up email. Midway always had fast shipping, they still get it out of the building fast but then send it UPS Sure Post which really slows down your package by at least 2 to 3 days where I live anyway. My last shipment was lost in transit and UPS declared it lost on Nov 12th, they told me to contact the shipper and start a claim for my package. I contacted Midway and was told sorry theres nothing they can do until after the 23rd! I had to wait until the 23rd to file a claim with Midway and they said I would be reimbursed with in 5 to 7 days. It is now the Dec 24th and I have never received my product or my money back and they haven't responded to my emails! So much for customer service, they use to be a stand up company. I have been using Midway for quite some time as one of my many sources for outdoors and hunting supplies. I have ordered from them before, during and after Covid. Recently I realized I start with Midway to look for items of interest as one of my first go to spots as we get to post Covid times. I think the reasons it is my go to: Midway was one of the first places to get shipping and handling timelines under control during Covid times, they have a pretty good internet experience and they offer a very good shipping update system. And by good internet experience, I mean fewer pop up adds, a good search engine and intuitive navigation. Their prices are usually the same as others and it is good to check a couple of sites if you are budget minded. Their inventory is about the same as the other choices as well but usually stand a better than average chance at having items of interest during these lean supply times. All in all, I think the shipping info and well laid out internet site with fewer pop up adds and reasonable prices makes Midway USA my first go to and a 5 star in my book. read more

I ordered an Eotech G33 magifier on Amazon, that Midway is the company that filled the order. I get the magnifier, and it is missing the mount. Even though the details of the product on Amazon describe the features of the mount. And nowhere in the description does it say that the mount is not included. I reach out to Midway through the Amazon message system. Over the course of two days, I exchanged four messages with Midway. They blamed Amazon and Eotech for not having the right description of the product, even though Midway is the company filling the order and receiving the payment.
