It leaks any and every fluid. Radiator had a hole in it. The ignition module went out. The coil went out. The fuel pump went out. The alternator went out. The shifter broke. The window crank broke. The trans is on its last leg. And the 4x4 doesn't even work and never has. NEVER GO TO THIS DEALER!! THEY SUCK!!

I put a deposit on a car and was told by Mike Rippe it was refundable. After looking into the vehicle some more I decided not to purchase it. I was told the deposit was refunded to my credit card. I questioned this since I used PayPal for the deposit. Then I was told it would be refunded the same way it was paid. I didn't receive a refund and had to reach out to mike several times to get a response. Mike that he did respond and maybe his e-mail went into my spam file. I told him this was unlikely since I had been receiving his e-mails when I was interested in buying the car. He told me again the deposit would be refunded. Four weeks later and three promises to refund the deposit I was told they would not refund the deposit. They now claimed it was non refundable. If it were not refundable I why would they tell me three times it had been refunded before changing their story. These people are completely untrustworthy and I suggest you stay away. I can only imagine what might have happened if I bought a vehicle from them and needed anything. I have purchased several cars using ethical dealerships. This is not one. They will be hearing from my attorney.

If not, here it is: I was on my way home from work one night and my rear tire blew up as I was driving on highway 64. I managed to make it home after my car insurance had it towed by another company (I don't even know who it was to be honest). The next morning I needed to find a way to get my car to the Plaza Tire in Manchester. I spend half the morning looking for reputable tire places in the area and the other half looking for towing companies. I saw the excellent reviews on Yelp and decided to give this company a try. Let me just say that I have never met a kinder person that worked at a towing company. Not only did he get here within about 15 minutes but he also was very careful with my car and the best part, gave me a ride to the tire place. Some tow companies (at least in Texas and Cali) won't do that for you and will tell you to get an Uber or friend. I was so glad I could get to the tire place and found it was also about an 8 mile drive away. He talked about the area once he knew I wasn't from here and gave me a lot of information that I found really interesting. He was very professional and gave me an amazing price for the tow. I am hoping I am never going to need my car towed again but if I do, this is the ONLY company I want to tow my car. If you need a tow, this is the place to call!

I had a bad experience once where I'd forgotten to put the emergency brake on- and the car fell off the jack and almost cut off my friends legs. Yeah- NOT COOL. So, when I had a flat recently and called a firestone emergency number and they called up these guys, I was super pleased just to know I wouldn't have to do it myself. It was a dark rainy night, I was way out in Chesterfield (I'm a city girl), and I'd just hit the hugest pothole of my life and blew out my tire. I can't say I was in the calmest of moods. But this guy named Barry from Suntrup Towing saved the day. He showed up 10 minutes earlier than projected and had the friendliest attitude. He let me sit in his truck and mess with his radio. He had a very calming and genuine personality. He mentioned the many other people broken down that night too- it made me feel like less of a schmuck. Instead I felt "one" with the community. Yes, EVERYONE breaks down. I'm ONE OF YOU. See? Calming. The fee for the tire change was a little steep. But hey- I wasn't freaking out anymore. I'll pay your $85 nighttime rate, and thanks for the mental peace.

After I pushed back and questioned it, I was met with attitude instead of helpful customer service. Then suddenly they were able to source the same part locally for much cheaper, which makes me question whether they even tried in the first place. On top of that, they added a diagnostic fee that was never discussed or authorized beforehand. There was nothing that actually needed diagnosing either, the issue was stated and obvious.  I understand shops need to make money and labor isn't free, but transparency and honesty matter, especially in a small town. The whole interaction was dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. To top it all off, as the conversation was ending, the female co-owner made a chirpy comment implying that they didn't have to honor a military discount anyway before storming off. Regardless of policy, the attitude and lack of professionalism throughout the experience were very disappointing.

I have had nothing shy of a wonderful experience every single time I take one of our cars in (maybe 6 times now since late 2017 or early 2018 I think). The first time I took my car in, I had a local auto parts store check my battery and alternator. They told me the alternator was definitely bad. So, I bought one, popped in the front seat, and looked around for a mechanic. B&T was able to get me in the soonest. So, I gave them a try. They called me shortly after I dropped it off to tell me there was nothing wrong with my alternator, that my battery was bad, and it would just be a waste of money to replace the alternator. When I picked my car up, I got a detailed tech report on what they did to test and what the readings were. All they had to do was NOT call me, install the alternator I already had sitting there, and was the entire reason I set the appointment anyway. However, they chose to be honest, call me, and let me make the decision. *The alternator is still working fine (2-3 years later) FYI* My poor girlfriend had bought a total money pit Subaru Legacy (unbeknownst to her when she bought it). We've had that in their shop 4 or 5 times I believe and they always do good work that I feel satisfied with and they don't charge you ridiculous prices. I am happy to pay for good honest work. That's what its all about. And that's what they do. I want to detail all other accounts, but for what its worth, take my word that every experience has been like my first, detailed above. I've recommended them to anyone talking about getting their car worked on (and I warn away from 2 places in town... you probably know 1 of the 2, if not both). Thank you B&T Auto Service!
