We had the pleasure of attending a sneak peek at a new Classic Car dealership. As we rounded the…read morecorner from Olive to E. Orleans we immediately noticed the building. It looked like a warehouse. I immediately had a preconceived idea of what the inside was going to be like - a bunch of old cars with inflated stickers. I was WRONG (yeah, I said it... don't tell anyone). This place was welcoming and not pretentious like other showrooms. The owners were very friendly and let us look around without breathing down our neck. You could tell that the cute couple was living their dream and because of that it just had a homey feeling...I dunno how to describe it. As someone who knows nothing about cars I could definitely recognize the treasures they had in the room. The '72 Monte Carlo, the pretty Porshe and my love... the Audi. Who knew? There was a sweet Jeep and a Truck outside that made me want to go driving and camping on a hilly terrain. (That is sooooo not me! But still.) Let's talk about prices because I'm sure you are reading this thinking that since I'm talking up the vehicles so much the prices must be high. Nope!! I'm worried that this sweet couple won't be making any money with the prices on these vehicles. Seriously. The Audi $9,999. The Monte Carlo $27,999. Go in and see the rest. If you can appreciate a Classic (or even if you aren't a car person like me) you will not be disappointed!

Absolutely blown away by how badly I got screwed over here. I paid around $19,000 for my Camaro,…read moreand after multiple people told me there was no way it was worth that, I had my manager at the dealership I work for appraise it. He scanned the VIN, looked at the actual equipment on the car and comparable listings, and found that even in mint condition the market value was around $15,000. He also found the same Camaro with about 20,000 fewer miles than mine listed for around that same price. My car ended up appraising at $9,500. Then there is the safety inspection. They somehow passed this vehicle around two months ago, but now it fails because it needs control arms, tie rod ends, a third brake light, has an exhaust leak, and has no mufflers or resonators. When I called, I was basically told it was all "wear and tear." So then I ask well how did it pass safety without the mufflers and there response was it falls under emissions not safety. Basically saying that because there county didn't require emissions testing it didn't matter muffler or not. But what's funny is it passed emissions but failed safety. Forget everything else for a second -- if the car has no mufflers or resonators and that causes it to fail now, how did it pass two months ago? Those parts did not magically disappear. For a smaller dealership trying to earn people's business, you would think they would actually care about making things right. I will definitely be making sure the appropriate Missouri authorities know about the inspection situation and can decide for themselves how this vehicle was passed. Carmax offered $9.5K keep in mind i've owned this vehicle for 2 months. I am telling you if you're reading this be careful who you buy from. As I read some of the other reviews it seems like i'm most definitely not the only one dealing with problems on there vehicles from this dealership ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
