In March of 2023, my Samsung washing machine would not complete a spin cycle…read more Samsung recommended I contact Herb Snow & Son which I did on March 13, 2023. I was told it would cost $130.00 to come out and diagnose the problem + $120/hr labor plus the cost of the part. I was charged $195.00 for the part + $209.99 for the labor + $30.37 tax = $435.36 I later discovered the machine was under warranty. Herb Snow & Son was informed that it was only 2 years old, so they knew it was under warranty and never mentioned it to me. I was under the impression it had a 1-year warranty, when, in fact, it has a 10-year warranty. I found out later that the part Herb Snow sold me for $195.00 sells on Amazon for $21.99. Samsung told me they would have replaced it for free had Herb Snow had only called. At the very most, I should have been charged to come out and diagnose the problem ($130.00) plus labor ($120.00) for a total of $250.00. I ended up being charged $435.36. This amounts to an overcharge of $185.36, and overcharge of 42.58% Avoid these people as if your life depends on it! If you use them after reading this review, you deserve everything they are going to do to you! The only reason they use lubricant is to hold the sand on! I am surprised that local law enforcement doesn't require them to wear a mask and carry a gun.

We visited this store to look for used appliances and picked out a washer and dryer on the floor…read more We didn't have them pull it out from being tucked in next to the other appliances. It was scraped up on the side, but we didn't see it until it was delivered. They told us the delivery fee was $50, which we paid. On delivery, the two guys banged up the back door getting it inside. They flooded the floor with water. The plug ins were too outdated and didn't work so they went to Ace Hardware to get a different set. The washer still did not work. They couldn't get it running. We called Herb Snow store to let them know we were not accepting the appliances. We arrived at the store for a refund. The owner told us the washer was working now, and it was in the back if we wanted to look at it. We said that we didn't want it. She would not refund the delivery fee of $50. She said that it was delivered. We said we didn't pay for delivery of appliances that didn't work. She said, "We delivered it didn't we?" We were out $50, and banged up door.

One star only because there's not an option for 0. In March,…read moreI bought a stackable washer/dryer, refrigerator with ice maker and a dishwasher; total of about $1,700. I expected all to work and had a verbal 60- to 90-day warranty with exceptions stated. Got the refrigerator home and as soon as it was plugged into the newly installed water line (by a licensed plumber), it starts leaking. I turned off the water and called them. "Oh, the ice maker isn't under the warranty" was what I heard. They weren't happy but they scheduled their repairman to come fix it. That happened THREE MORE TIMES! I had a conversation with the repairman that perhaps another fridge would be a good option? BTW, when I pointed out condensation to him, he had no idea what the problem was. Turns out the door wasn't shutting tightly. Shouldn't a repairman recognize condensation? Anyway, fridge #2 arrived and repairman/deliveryman hooked it up to the water line. I had to be out of town for a couple days, so when I got home, I was anxious to find the ice bucket full. Nope! Only ONE tray of ice had dropped in a 48-hour time span AND there was a significant puddle in front of the fridge. I waited a few more days. In the meantime, the mysterious puddle showed up again. This fridge/freezer was PROMISED to be working correctly! Oh, one of the people I talked to during this entire time said they were "doing me a favor" by sending their repairman three times. Doing ME a favor? Silly me! I bought it thinking it would work! After the final try, I turned off the water and ordered some silicone reusable ice cubes. There's NO way I would contact them EVER again after this ordeal. BTW, the stackable W/D work perfectly... and I told them so. The dishwasher works great, although a bracket fell off the top rack. I just glued it back on. Again, no way I would EVER contact this company again.
