My lease on my 2011 Jetta was ending on 10.11.13 and on 10.07.13 I filled out a brief form from the Leasing Center (on the MAG website) explaining my situation and what type of new car I might be interested in. Within 10 minutes I received a phone and an e-mail from Kathy Armstrong with MAG! She was such a huge help and set up an appointment for me to meet with John Barna on Wednesday, 10.09.13. I met with John who already had a new Jetta waiting out front for me to test drive. I sat down with him and discussed the other car possibilities and he ended up showing me a new 2013 Beetle. I was certain that I was going to lease another Jetta, but after John showed me the new Beetle I completely changed my mind. MAG did not have the color of the Beetle that I wanted, but John found one for me and had the car waiting for me to pick up on Saturday, 10.12.13! I have been a long time MAG customer, but have never had the opportunity to work with John. I am so happy that I met him and feel very confident that I will go back to him for any of my new car needs. I also met with Vince Cordova in Financing (on Saturday). A bunch of incompetent people! The sales people, Dave Perry, Tim and John Streifel have no clue how to handle an out of state sale! No one pays to details. Amazing how a lease agreement is sent UPS overnight (Mat 1) and I hear nothing- from the Range Rover... no confirmation that it was received or anything, but then when my car transporter arrives May 3, they suddenly have an issue with the dates on the lease and can not release the car. Dave Perry and Tim knew the car transporter was coming and everything was fine as of 3;30, I have phone and email proof. The car transporter even spoke to Dave and he said car would be ready ion the morning. Then at 4:34, I get a call from John Streifel NOT releasing the car. Finally they send me new paper work, they said by Fed Ex, however, it was UPS, and I sign again. I scan the lease to have them review BEFORE sending it back to avoid another error. I did not get a return phone call or email. I also confirmed they were in the store and not off work, Literally a bunch of novice sales persons. This is my second time purchasing two vehicle from MAG VW in Dublin Ohio. The first two were purchased/leased in 2008 and in 2011 I leased two more. I was sold on the salesmen/womenship of the sales department, the service department is 2nd to none. The service manager and all the service staff/technicians really go out of their way, to make what most of us think as an unpleasant experience as a real good experience. The parts department will go out of their way too, to locate any part or extra you want to add to your vehicle. Vince in the finance office will assist you in each phase of your purchase/lease, etc., all pleasant, honest and sincere. MAG dealership is like a New Auto Show. Occasionally I will venture down to the high end district where the Bentleys etc., are. The entire dealership makes you want to stay, dream, and shop. The waiting area is well maintained, even music in the restrooms! I will continue to be a loyal customer to MAG, will always refer friends/family and will continue too. I don't know many who enjoy the car research and buying experience. On a chance meeting on a very newly posted vehicle I came upon Megan Bruzzese at MAG. She was very honest and followed the directions of my request after some emails and phone conversations. When looking at the vehicle it had not been safety inspected and so it could not be driven. Megan presented options going forward to hold a vehicle. This is important when you're out of town. Upon return, we were expecting the vehicle to be safety inspected but not to be tech inspected and fully detailed. She managed to accomplish all of this in only 1.5 business days. A purchase agreement was reached and Megan delivered again by having their touch up specialist complete the requested work in less than 24 hours. Again, being from out of town the timing of the work was beneficial in minimizing subsequent trips to Columbus. She is fun and honest and delivered on what was requested. David Carni in Sales is very knowledgeable in the VW line, and took time to fully explain the features and functions in the cars we have purchased from him. The purchase process is professional and straightforward, and I appreciated how David's sales manager Chris is sincerely interested in gaining a customer rather than making a quick sale. Bob Cox in Service takes a personal interest in caring for our cars. We are pleased that VW offers 3 years/36 month maintenance, and Bob and his team take care of us like they are his own cars. He gets our cars in at our convenience, communicates frequently, and always performs work right the first time and has the cars washed when they are returned to us. I recently visited MAG of Dublin to look at a one owner 911 Porsche Carrera. The sales person Sarah Edwards showed me the vehicle, let me crawl all over it, and take it for a test drive. I loved the car but wanted my Porsche mechanic to check it out. MAG had no problem with that so I drove it to his shop in Columbus. John put it up on the rack and then "put it to the test" on I-71. When he returned he had the biggest smile on his face and said "the only thing wrong was this was not his car"! He loved the car too. I returned to MAG and Sarah Edwards helped me with the purchase which took about an hour. She wanted to detail the car for me "probably for a second time", the first when they put it out front for sale. The following morning it was detailed, ready, waiting, and when they said it would be! I have had my vehicle in for service at the Mag Jaguar Land Rover dealer twice now. The service is great! These guys care about their customers. In both instances I was given a loaner car to drive during the duration of the servicing. They were very professional and did not try to up sale me or sell me things I didn't need. Dealerships always charge a premium because they are better equipped to service your exact veh type. I'm so happy I chose MAG Jaguar for my Jaguar XF service. Zach, Dillon, and Josh are just great guys! Even when they are busy and have a million things going on they are attentive and willing to help with all your service needs. The Technicians there are very experienced. Most of the time they have done, multiple times on your exact vehicle, whatever service you are getting done. Especially Mark, he knows his Jags. Unbelievable... the horrible experience I had with this dealership! I've been a loyal Volkswagen owner now for 35 years. I've dealt with dealerships from NY to LA with Beatles to Jettas for tune ups to engine rebuilds and never have I experienced the level of incompitance I experienced here! To assume a safe degree of anonymity I'll be somewhat evasive in dates and vehicle type. The VW I brought in had a obviously glaring drive train issue. Through my own research being as I said a loyal VW owner could have been rectified at any reputable dealer. MAG was not only unable to find and fix the problem but insulted my intelligence as to imply no problem even existed! I would never recommend this dealership to a friend or enemy! read more

I recently purchased an A6 from MAG via the new Audi Care Program. I live in Cincinnati and they delivered the vehicle from Dublin, OH. It was the fastest and smoothest luxury auto purchase I have every experienced. The team worked to get me the lowest price with incentives and rebates beating out my local Audi dealers and all of the paperwork was handled via email and a few quick signatures upon delivery of the vehicle at my house. Just don't purchase an extended warranty. They will not honor it.... I purchased both the extended maintenance and service plan on my MINI. Was supposed to receive five years or 100,000 miles. This week it was towed 135 miles for a repair only to discover that my warranty, which should have expired on January 4,2019 was no longer valid. It appears that the car was a demo and was put in service a few months before I purchased it. Very deceptive to sell extended service plans and not base the coverage on the actual purchase date. By far the best service I have had buying a car. Tom and Steve were amazing to work with, as well as the sales manger. I am moving to Columbus from Seattle and have a short time frame to get alot done. I called Tom and we worked over the phone for a week getting everything sqaured away. I took my 2011 passat to Midwestern auto group to replace a blown valve cover gasket, the mechanic not only put 4 noticeable dents in my valve cover he dropped a small ratchet extension into the valve cover destroying the overhead cam. They then lied about the cause of the damage and charged me 812 dollars to repair it. I was informed of the true cause for the damage by another mechanic and I am pursuing legal action to recover my losses. The dishonesty of MAG is criminal. Dont even go there for an oil change!! read more

I have owned many different makes and models and will service them at the brand specific dealership. I'm currently in love with my Volvo wagon and though I did not purchase it from MAG Volvo, I did decide to go there for service. On one occasion my TPS light came on and I stopped by to have air put in. Kym my advisor not only expediated that, she also topped off my cars fluids and had it washed even though it was below freezing out. Thanks Kym! You are great, MAG is lucky to have you. read more
