The nurse named Patricia was extremely rude and said I quote, "I don't have time for family to bother me about mice". She insulted my sister in the process and would not let us leave when we attempted to discharge her. If you care for your family do not send them here. I also had a resident approach me during this incident and tell me how I am doing the right thing by discharging my grandmother and how this place was dangerous and disgusting as she cried to me.

My review is based 100% on the horrible administrative staff. The absolute worse most disorganized group of people I have ever met! The unfortunate truth is, it spans the entire administration. The business office is a joke, they have zero clue what they are doing. When you call them all they do is give you the run around and if they need to answer a question you will get one of two responses, a lie or something so ridiculous you can't believe you heard it! A counselor called me and asked me what my mom's hopes and dreams were for the future? I started laughing hysterically. She asked me what was so funny? I said, her hopes and dreams! She is dying and jacked up on morphine! I guess her hopes and dreams are to be at peace! I asked her, did you ever look at her file or meet her? She said no! Then, right on cue about 10 minutes later the activities person called me two days before my mom passed away, who was on hospice and could not walk, and asked me what activities my mom likes? She actually asked me if my mom likes walks in the garden, does she like to dance, does she like social activities? After her questions I couldn't help myself, I asked her? Did you actually look at my mom's file? Did you meet her? She admitted no. So then I said, she can't walk! She is 100% bed ridden. So I guess her favorite activity is breathing right now! Her reply was, Ok! Great, I can't wait to meet her! Yeah, really awesome! And now I still have to deal with them and I am still getting the run around! Just plain terrible!

She says:…read more*The gray carpet in her room is stained and filthy. * There is currently no toilet paper in the bathroom and the holder is hanging off of the wall. *There is cold air coming through the window and she is cold. *Her bed is right up against a wall heater and when the heater turns on, dust blows on her, which is not good because she has allergies and a touch of asthma and heart issues. *The food has been quite insufficient. Besides being skimpy, it is poorly-cooked and flavorless. She says she gags. *A dresser that is provided has its surface peeling off. If she could give ZERO stars, she would. Shame on facilities for not properly caring for the elderly and those needing therapy, rehabilitation, and medical care. Our elders helped make this country, build this country, and have served all of us in one way or the other. It sounds like this facility, and a lot of facilities in this country need to be closely scrutinized by the state departments of elder care, and the care of those who are somehow incapacitated.
