I actually loved going to therapy even though I knew it would hurt doing it, because the people who worked there were so knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging, beginning with Tiara the receptionist, who always greeted me with a warm smile and inquiry into my well-being as soon as I walked in. Very warm and genuine, you knew she really cared. Meg Barr was my main therapist and she was a wealth of knowledge, having earned her doctorate degree, as have many others at Therafit. Meg was always coming up with new exercises and methods for getting my ankles to stretch and move in ways that they had forgotten. Always upbeat, she was very thorough, from taking measurements in order to actually show me my physical progress every few weeks to coming up with new effective exercises often disguised as play or games, to designing my custom exercise program I could do at home, letting me know she would continue to be available if I had any questions or needed any help even after I was released. No two therapy sessions were ever the same or boring, thanks to Meg and my other therapist, Hunter, a good-looking red-headed guy who gently challenged me every single session but always had me laughing about something with his wry humor and observations about life as well as personal funny stories. I never could decide which of my 2 therapists was my favorite but was convinced I somehow got the two best therapists not just at Therafit Rehab, but in the whole state. However, I am sure the other therapists at Therafit Rehab were equally as qualified and as good as Meg and Hunter are. Even the other patients seemed to me to be a cut above normal, it is such a warm and welcoming place. Everyone you encountered there felt like your own encouraging, loving, caring family. I honestly loved going despite the pain that would usually last for a couple more days afterwards, and I absolutely hated when I had to miss a session. Its been over a month since my release from Therafit and I miss going! I simply cannot recommend this place highly enough!

First the receptionist Nicole was super bubbly like if you're feeling out of sort or down like super down just pop your head in and I'm certain you'll smirk smile or even chuckle before leaving. I didn't feel like cattle. Dr. Oz took his time explained everything and began to work on my painful points. Then the CA showed me a few exercises before leaving her name escapes me of it's not Hallie.. although my pain is still there it's only my first appt. But my mood definitely shifted They have several locations in AA county that offer a full range of services. Highly recommend if you need some minor adjustments or long term treatment options.

The initial charge was just about a $100 for being military with $25 for every visit since most insurance I don't believe covers it or at least military insurance doesn't. I was seen pretty quickly and was taken out of pain pretty fast with no real pressure to schedule more appointments. I did find that very refreshing though afterwards I did get a few phone calls to check if I wanted to come in but again nothing that had a lot of pressure to it more of a Hey we are just checking type of a thing. Because my schedule has been a little hectic I have not been able to get back in there but my initial experience was one that makes me feel it is worth it to go back. I'm docking one star due to the practice taking my insurance confirming they would bill it but then not billing it when I verified with my company later. Also be aware that their current request for appointments and responses on their website doesn't seem to work or they may not be utilizing it because I had not gotten a call back to reschedule an appointment.

My daughter and I went there to escape dom violence. Dv hotline tells abused women" there IS…read morehelp,call now" but the only help they give is 2 to 8 weeks of rest in shelter then they put you out with no where to go except they'll give you a tent or referral to local homeless shelter. I don't think anyone finds that helpful. There really isn't any help unless becoming homeless like we did almost a year ago is what you consider to be help.i watched 6 other families from there also be put out to homeless shelter its apparently the routine thing they do for poor abused women. The wealthy ones may find that short stay helpful bc gives them chance to find apartment but if you're broke they put you out to homeless shelter.i even got a job but had to quit bc I got off 2 hours after school bus dropped daughter off and wouldn't allow her to stay there while I worked and she's of legal age in md to be left alone,was11, now,12.weve been homeless since we went there in Nov before Thanksgiving 2025. I've reached out many times to update but still no help. Stop lying to women having g them escape only to become homeless. That's not help.were so depressed and lost and feel alone with no help and no end in sight of becoming homed again.it was a mistake to go there or to believe there was actually any help available. I do t kno what they're doing with donations or got funding except fat pay checks and the small cost to house victims for the short time. Then njackman,director had nerve to scold me for telling community members that they put women out with no where to go except to be homeless.she didnt want the truth to be known,said I was talking nasty about springboard and I said I'm o ly speaking the truth about my life,which I'm free to do and if she thinks its nasty that's on her bc that's exactly the truth,I can and will speak of it.it may save another famy from becoming chronically homeless for a year or more bc they believed a dv shelter was there to help. Help me and finding permanent housing and perhaps putting a baby sitter on site so one can work to get on feet. This has been the worst experience of my life and the emotional abuse from dv didnt stop yet either. So they help with nothing.its esthetically pleading,a beautiful place but they do t help women. If you choose to help a vulnerable population and take donations and got funds for it than you have a responsibility to actually give the help. Women need to work so there's needs to be childcare, and they need a permanent place to live not a homeless shelter.leadt of all the hsp shelter that puts a correctional focus on the homeless families.you kno like prison.thats what correctional institutions are for,criminals not for abused people.hsp shelter leaves families to languish in the shelter system and doesn't transition them into permanent homes either and they don't treat residents with dignity .they make clear everyday that you are a worthless homeless person,and should be grateful you have any shelter bc it could be the street or back to your abuser.i saw some women return to their abuser after leaving springboard bc the homeless shelter was unbearable. It's sad people give money to these organizations who keep for bonuses and paychecks bc they certainly aren't using it to help women get or stay emotes or to get permanent housing. You don't leave abuse to dv shelter to become homeless.you can do that without dv shelters help. It's a crying shame the false helping organizations out there for there own greed and trying dankest to hide from the truth from the public. Went to Perfomance Physical Therapy for the first time with a bout of sciatica. Becky and Chris…read morewere as welcoming as it gets, which was very relaxing, before my paperwork had even been completed. The atmosphere was very laid back, but dealing with my issue, Becky was extremely thorough to assess what was happening. She could see this was an issue with a pinched nerve and she narrowed it down to two specific areas, then worked carefully and diligently to deal with the "pinched" areas. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt almost immediate relief once I left the office. I have a couple more sessions scheduled, but even waking up the next morning, the pain had subsided by half. We had our initial…read moresession with Risa, who started with a terrible bedside manner and showed complete bias towards my wife before understanding the dynamics or issues we have in our relationship. Upon completion of our "first" session, Risa suggested that we do an individual session so she could understand our relationship from both sides, which seemed like a great idea. My wife went first and said her session went well. I was wary from our initial session, but went to the individual session with hope that this could be something that could help our marriage. I had even taken a full session with my individual therapist to prep for this session. But after telling Risa my perspective of the relationship, she told my she would get in touch with us about our next session and if we would be "appropriate" for therapy with her. At this moment, I knew we had wasted our time and money. I immediately called my wife and asked if Risa informed her that she might not take us as clients and she said that Risa hadn't mentioned anything like that to her. A mere few hours after the session we received an email that after her assessment she deemed us "not advisable" and recommended we continue with our individual therapy without any recommendations or suggestion for couples counseling. So after wasting my time and money, I would like to advise others that I found Risa and her therapy practice not advisable and highly recommend you take your time, money, and most importantly energy to another counselor. We went to see Meg 6 months ago with huge problems or so it seemed. The first few appointments are…read morerough but things brighten a bit after a few sessions. My husband and I are by no means "fixed" however we are living a much better life and headed in the right direction. Meg's approach is honest, friendly, sincere, fair and funny.
