I recently visited for assistance with an issue I had previously resolved on a different pair of shoes--specifically, adjusting or cutting down a heel, that had been successfully addressed before. Unfortunately, I was told this time that it couldn't be done, despite it being handled without issue in the past. Not to add the customer service was horrible this time around. I was disrespected and told that " I should stop playing with him" after asking why the same solution wasn't possible this time. This was the owners son to be exact! Mighty Fine Shoe Repair is an excellent black-owned small business affordably providing quality shoe repair services in the Houston, TX area. My husband has taken his police boots worn on his security job and I have regularly taken my fancy dress shoes to have the heel caps replaced. They did these services at very reasonable prices and the work is excellent. They are friendly and courteous. This type of service is becoming scarce and expensive to find. I've taken 6 or 7 pairs of shoes here for repair or to be cut down and I'm pleased. Everyone is friendly and customer service is great. I'll continue to take my shoes here. I'm pleased with the service at Mighty Fine Shoe Repair! I've held onto several vintage Ferragamo shoes with dry-rotted heels, and it was a relief to know that they could be replaced. I got heel replacements for my booties and heeled flats for $27. I have dropped off three more pairs of shoes since, and that was $37. I was told a week for pick-up each time. I dropped off a pair of brown loafers for full soles and heals. The quoted price was $60. The job done on the soles looks very good. I expect them to last at least a year.
