First time here and great experience!! Came here for the "Don't Tell Comedy" show which they only reveal the location on the day of! Although I had guessed it might be this place! Anyway we were excited having never been before! The space is not only huge, but also there's a whole another floor upstairs with the event room called the "Squirrel Den" - where they had the comedy show!! Downstairs they have plenty of seating plus the bar and even live music. You can also see the barrels of the whole brewery which adds to the ambience with the metallic shine. The comedy show was fun - a series of standup comics - fun night! The stage wall is essentially a mural of a bunch of beer cans art so it really compliments the space. There is a bar at the back too and restrooms within the room itself so very convenient. Downstairs there's also a shuffle board where we spent some time playing afterwards. Restrooms downstairs too plus a water filling station which I was very pleasantly surprised to see. The hubs ordered the blood orange cloud candy beer - he thought it was nice a metallic IPA, buzzy. Our friend had several drinks - not sure all the names but one of them was the Oktoberfest. Service was good, one of the comedians actually checked us into the room. What a cool spot! We were wandering around near the ballpark trying to stay out of the rain when we stumbled across Mighty Squirrel Brewing, and what a great find! The place has a really fun vibe -- coffee shop in the morning and brewery in the evening. The hostess was super friendly and got us seated in a nice dry spot in the back where we could admire all the brewing equipment. Live music started while we were there, adding more energy to the atmosphere. There's also an upstairs area that looked like a great place to hang out. The food looked fantastic, and my wife was especially excited to see they had a gluten-free dessert option. They offered a huge variety of freshly brewed beers -- IPAs, pilsners, sours -- something for everyone. They also had several non-alcoholic options, which was nice to see. I enjoyed a few half beers along with an order of guacamole, and my wife had the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was delicious. Brewery #415 Mighty Squirrel was an oasis during a rainout of the Red Sox game. The way these people handled the large crowd when they weren't expecting much of one for 3 hours was amazing. The brewery has 2 floors with multiple bars with taps and they were running full speed ahead. We found a couple of seats upstairs and I walked up to one of the bars and ordered a few 4-5 oz pours. Their hazies were really good especially Runner's High and Cloud Candy. While we were sitting there, we ordered a few apps; a hummus plate and some hot honey Brussel sprouts. They both came out fast and were tasty. The beer and food were both good, but the service was even better. The Mighty Squirrel is a well oiled machine. read more

The food menu has a good selection of appetizers/shareable foods, and they have a solid variety of beers. Tidbit!!! You can get breakfast and a beer here! We loved visiting right after an early morning Fenway tour. Supposedly, you can get coffee too. Onto the review -- We opted to try pretty much every beer. The beer menu is extensive, with a couple of beers in every major category (e.g. multiple IPAs, multiple stouts). Chat up your beertender, because they're all so fun and sweet and knowledgeable. The food was also delish for breakfast. There were some pastries, as well as some bigger dishes like sandwiches, tacos, etc. We got tacos and a breakfast sandwich, and we were very satisfied. In terms of ambiance, we were there during a quieter time (early morning Saturday), but we passed by it later during our trip and noticed that the crowds were popping. Good variety of tap and canned options. No cocktails but the food menu is actually very good and varied for a brewery. They don't just have the mediocre bar food for if you need something in a pinch. There's decent poke and hummus and salads that are actually well executed. Besides that it is your regular brewery vibe. They often have life music but when I've been there it's relatively quiet background vs something people are going to actually hear. They were out of the beer he wanted, then they were out of cheese curds so we couldn't get the poutine we wanted, then our lamb lollipops were overcooked. I've been to Mighty Squirrel several times. I want to like this place. It's near Fenway park and has these large open windows you could (but probably shouldn't) step through. However, you get inside and the vibe just dies. When I last went, there was a musical act in the main area. It was dead because few people were sitting in the main area. It almost feels intentional. A lot of the space is deep inside the building with no windows. Seems no attention is paid to where (which floor) you make your reservation. You'll be brought to what feels like a back room on the second floor. Utterly sterile environment. read more

The manager also had an attitude as we were not seated in the area we reserved in advance. They have a great beer selection and they do let you try samples if you are unsure what to get. I stopped in here mid-morning on a Monday while waiting for my train. While I've had Mighty Squirrel's brews on tap and from the can around New England, I've never been in one of their taprooms. A stone's throw from Fenway in a new building butted up against the east-west railroad tracks and the Mass Pike surrounded by a neighborhood in transition, Mighty Squirrel is in a huge space. I was quite surprised at how good the food was here! I always pass by here and decided to give it a try on a weekday night. It was very empty and easy to get a table for 6, although service seemed a little slow. They have a good selection of beers and some frozen fruity drinks. I was here for a friend's birthday and it was a lovely time! It is a new, well lit, and fun spot that has recently opened in Fenway. They have plenty of seating across an upstairs and a downstairs. While there for my friend's birthday, there was a Red Sox game nearby, which meant the space was not busy until after the game ended. They had plenty of staff available to help out as needed and all seemed in good spirits. Even though I am not much of a beer drinker, I do tend to enjoy sour beers and hard seltzers. I was able to try three of their sour beers, which included their mango, watermelon, and prickly pear options. All of them were not overly sour and had a subtle enough, yet enjoyable flavor. Out of the three, mango was by far my favorite! While I had dinner beforehand, my friend ordered food and raved about it! She ordered a quesadilla and a pizza, which came out fairly quickly. They also have games available, like Jenga and playing cards. They are also okay if you bring your own games, like my friend who brought dice. It creates for a fun environment! We stopped by Mighty Squirrel at Fenway before a BU tour and it was such a fun spot. The vibe is lively but still relaxed enough to actually chat, which can be rare in that area. The space feels open and bright with big windows and a great view of the street. The beer selection is awesome with lots of variety and everything we tried was crisp and fresh. I had the Cloud Candy and could easily have stayed for another round. The staff were friendly and quick even though it was busy, and the food was better than I expected for a brewery with a great pretzel and solid tacos. My wife and I had to drop our daughter off at a concert at the house of blues in Boston. We walked around and found this place. Yelp said it was a good place. I agree it was really great. Nice atmosphere good prices good beer. They had a great menu. It wasn't super expensive, but it was pretty good. The inside looked really neatand it was a lot of fun to eat there. The service was fun and interactive. I'm really grateful we had a chance to get there the only reason for the forced our review is that they could have a few more beers listed and some bigger entrées.
