Don't sleep on their macnut pesto!
Dan A.

If you're looking for Hawaiian Mexican...this is the spot try. There is a Miguel's Cocina in San Diego and So Cal areas - I wonder if this is a sister branch? Anyhow, great location at Kaka'ako. They're at the food trucks area at Kewalo Basin Harbor. Tried their veggie, fish, and carne asada tacos - very good. But the Macnut Pesto with fish is a sleeper! Surprisingly very good! Service was fast and ambiance is great! We'll definitely be back.

Miguel's Cocina is a food truck amongst others at The Street Food Market (the former Fisherman's Ward location) and is the spot with lots of various food trucks along with parking you do need to pay but is an area with community seating with picking style benches that's shared with other vendors though there are some that's not covered which can get quite blazing hot in the day. Not sure if it's standard but there was just one person working the shift and with orders pouring in the had to pause taking any orders for 15 minutes is unfortunate though I do understand and is the right thing to do versus taking any orders for them to wait longer. I was lucky enough to make it before the pause and ordered the Elote and Anticucho Taco which is filled with grilled short rib topped with chipotle mayo and pico de gallo but the star was the crisp corn tortilla as it totally held it all especially since I wasn't eating it at that location and after getting there it still held it all as for the Elote topped with mayo, queso fresco, butter is a fresh bite and was the perfect pair. Not too heavy but just the right bite and was it worth the $7 taco...hmmm it held it all together and that's all I ask for. Thank you!

Fish tacos! Sooo good

Service was not the friendliest but he did answer my questions. I was curious what was anticucho and purple haze, and he told me short rib and sweet potato. I ended up going with 2 fish tacos though I would like to try those, I just wasn't sure I could eat that much! The flavor was soooo good!! Wow! Loved how there was plenty of parking and tables open at 5 pm though I went on Friday.

Probably the best tacos on the island! It's a food trucks, in a cute little area with tables. Super casual, service has been good everytime I've been. I love the fish taco and the steak!

Three Amigos Tacos. 1 fish 1 steak and 1 squash so so good!!

Hands down the best tacos in Oahu! Please come here and enjoy them. If I could some how figure out how to get them a Michelin star I would FR FR!

My taste buds are in heaven!

You have to try the vegan taco. Im not vegan and it was one of the best tacos I ever had. We also got the Anticuchos and it was tender and had an blissful flavor. Came all the way from Fort Worth, TX and this is hands down a must got to place to eat! Friendly service and food you will not be disappointed in. You have to go!

Try the fresh fish tacos--they're 'ono!

Best fish tacos in town! Kinda pricey at $7 per taco but if you want good grub, you gotta pay good money.

However, the margaritas felt a bit too light and mostly tasted like melted ice, which was a little disappointing. The food was okay overall, but there's definitely room to improve consistency and quality across the menu. We truly love supporting local spots, and hope they can fine-tune the drinks and food so the experience matches the great idea behind the business. Wishing them growth and better consistency moving forward.

The special today was a torta for $17.50 that I'll be getting next time, but I came here for tacos with my husband. We got there around 12:30 pm and just happened to beat the rush! I ordered our food for takeout, and it came out pretty fast. I ordered the Vampiro tacos, which is 4 open faced birria tacos. It doesn't come with consommé, and didn't need it to be honest. My husband got the 3 for $15 tacos, carne asada, pork belly, and birria. All good! Inside was pretty clean and nice and breezy for a Hawai'i day in February. We will definitely be coming back!

I remember dining there when they first opened. Parking was a problem, and still is, but! It's worth dealing with the parking issue for some delicious Hispanic food. Average price is five dollars per taco. It is pricey, but good. You'll get the same effect and satisfaction with the burrito and probably lesser and cost when you think about it. They are a no-frills establishment. That said you really don't need all the add-ons like guacamole or salsa. Food is extremely tasty and delicious as is. Be there I'll be square
