We called around first thing on a Saturday morning and no one was working or accepting appointments on a reasonable basis, except Pep Boys. They told us to come around 5pm, and since we had a full brand new tire for them to put on, they said they would check it out. NGL, the waiting area leaves a lot to be desired, but customer service said they would do their best to see if our new tire would work and do their best in an hour. We strolled over to the Amazon grocery, but there's not much else here on foot, came back to wait, and new tire was put on like a charm and very affordable! Thank you, Pep Boys.

Just in case my calendar doesnt remind me or that I forget that I even had it set up to begin with, I had asked them if they were going to give me a courtesy call or a text reminder the week of my oil change. Fast forward to returning from my vacation and they had sent me a text reminding me and to confirm my appointment for said date and time. I responded to their text and that was it, I was ready. I took my vehicle in. I was promptly seen, given an eta and left my key. I just decided to stay in the waiting area anyway because it wouldnt take that look anyway. I helped myself to their complimentary beverages in their fridge and shortly enough I received an email of all the workups my car needed and that the job is done. Note that this is just an inspection and you are not obligated to get the recommendations done immediately or with them- it is just for peace of mind. In the sheet, it lists what is immediate and a cost estimate to make it convenient for me. Whether you want the work done or not, it is up to you. I promptly paid for the oil change and I got to walk away with estimates for the next job and a completed oil change on my vehicle. Keep up the great job.

The key is the excellent customer service. For example, one day while I was waiting for my auto inspection, a person came into Shavney Auto re: a warning light that popped up on her dashboard. Apparently, she just needed her car's tires to be filled with air. Mike Shavney filled up the tires in a few minutes and didn't charge her. Although this event took place a few years ago, it stuck in my mind ever since.
