He also stated that it appeared based off of some preliminary tests that we were good candidate for IUI. Dr. Boostanfar requested that we have a few more tests done first and then come back to go over the results. At the second meeting he stated that we needed help with my husbands semen levels and everything else looked good. While he stated we needed some help he still stayed positive. He referred us to Dr. Bellman (urologist) to help my husband and see if there was a blockage or need for surgery. He wanted us to exhaust all other options first so we did not have to spend money on fertility treatments or go through them if we did not have to. I was actually shocked to hear this as I assumed most in this field were probably in it for the money. Many of my friends who have gone to a fertility doctor said that they felt pushed into spending he most amount of money on a treatment and the doctor never even looked at any other possibilities. I felt so blessed that Dr. Boostanfar was supporting this and made it an option. He was not thinking of his wallet....he was thinking of what was best for us. We went to see the urologist in late January and my husband was prescribed some medication (everything else looked good). By mid March we were pregnant. I am now almost weeks along and owe this entire pregnancy to Dr. Boostanfar. We saved thousands and the stress of having to go through treatment because he made us aware of our options. They told me over the phone that my insurance was verified before even scheduling the appointment, but when I arrived, I was told they don't take it. The front desk was extremely rude, especially Sophia. The manager, Kim, didn't seem to care and just defended her staff. I wasted both my time and time off work, and there was no apology or accountability. All the negative reviews are true. No matter how good the doctor is, incompetent staff ruin the experience.

She was nothing but combative and defensive about the issues. I was very happy with the NP I was seeing but the staff is arrogant and this puts YOUR life in danger. Apparently the doctor nor the NP have the time to return calls to their own patients and allow this to happen.
