I went to Dr. Mikailian randomly because he was close by and it was easily one of my best decisions I made. He offered me great advice, he is very educated in his field and offered me treatment that I can do at home to improve my eye health. He referred me to great specialist that are affordable. I called ahead of time to make sure they accepted my insurance and they checked everything, said yes and I made an appointment. When I came in the woman at the counter was very rude, making faces and made me feel unwelcome,but I just let it go because I didn't want to make a big deal about it. maybe she was having a bad holiday or something who knows, anyways after everything was set in done I left with the knowledge that my prescription glasses would be ready in 2 weeks and that was okay no problem. The first day after Christmas, today I got a very rude and dishonest phone call claiming for some reason my insurance is invalid. Now they know I called ahead of time to confirm, so this was completely misleading, and shameful way of treating someone! read more

Went here for an eye exam, and I must say the exam was ok, outside of optometrist pointing out they have "antiquated" eqipment. The thing that bothered me more was that the Optometrist spouted his views about vaccines and called people getting vaccinated for Covid "scared rabbits". He said all this as he admitted to not being vaccinated, which made me uncomfortable to be in same room as he did the exam. He went on to say Covid really is not killing people and that hospitals are making up numbers. This really touched a nerve as I had two people close to me that passed and it was definitely due to Covid, but also because I have friends on the front lines and it is NOT MADE UP. He should really keep his views to himself and not bad mouth his office's equipment either. **UPDATE** I received a call and apology from Dr Mikailian, who was not the optometrist I saw but does own the location, and he was very pleasant and we had a very good conversation. He definitely wanted to make things right. I'd return to this location and give him a chance based on his politeness and professionalism, but only with him as the optometrist. I still cannot recommend the other optometrist. I have changed the star rating and may change it further if I find Dr Mikailian to be as stand up a guy in person as he is on the phone. read more
