It looks terrible, & was never discussed, & the preference is always what looks best.....obviously to match the wheels. If they don't fix this AGAIN, it will unfortunately for them be the end of our business there. We will be taking our three vehicles somewhere different for better service.

I checked at Costco, but they had no rims and the tire was an oddball and would be several days out. So, I went to Discount Tire, where I was successful at getting an oddball tire for older S10. The very accommodating counter guy (#69) said they had rim options and could get the tire in a couple of days, making our trip south a reliable venture. To sweeten the deal they beat Costco's price by a few bucks and they offer a military discount for us retired old guys. I was very pleased to get a call from DC the very next day saying that the tire and rim were in and would be available soonest. I went in, they put the new tire on and the spare back where it belonged, all smiles and happy holidays. In summary, good availability, great service topped of by being a good value. OK charged me $90 to change a cabin air filter which was installed for free last year. I suspect it didn't require changing as my annual mileage is less than 5,000 km. Just viewed a youtube video which demonstrated installation of cabin air filter takes less than 5 minutes to install. Shameful!!! Unfortunately, my trust has been eroded even tho this facility was recommended to me.

The proper way to repair a flat is to take the tire off the rim, find the whole and patch it from behind, not to mickey mouse a plug in that will eventually leak or not last with heat and cold. They charge the same price as having a REAL tire store fix it properly and not just to plug it.

I called them up one day & told them what I was looking for. They gave me a quote. I called around & got a couple quotes from other tire shops, I also looked online. These guys had some fair prices, so I called them back and they put in an order for my tires, said they'll be there the next day. Next day I drove out to Surrey, they are across from the Scott Road SkyTrain station. They greeted me outside, had me pull up, then got to work. I was so impressed at how efficient they were. The installation was 25-30 min. I feel much safer with new tires. These Toyos are solid and have the M+S rating for winter on the S2S Hwy. Every single person working was friendly, from the guy who took my booking over the phone, to the installers, to the man who took payment. I highly recommend them.
