Terrible customer service!!! Employees seem to lack experience and knowledge. A few years back they gave my keys to another customer and had me waiting in the lobby for hours without being told. I had just went in for an hour or so oil change and tire rotation which turned into 3-4 hours. I started using a different dealership after that experience but decided to go back after a year because they are the closest one to me. However during my recent routine service they messed up my oil pan. Highly disappointed! Customer support was not much help either! read more

Terrible experience at this dealership! They agreed to an offer on a 2019 Toyota Camry in writing, and when my husband and I went to pick up the vehicle, they decided not to honor the agreed upon price and expected us to pay an additional $4500. We understood that they would not honor the offer that THEY accepted via email, and asked for a refund for a pre-purchase inspection (that we got on the premise that our offer was accepted), and they refused. Upon our initial arrival, my husband went and got an independent inspection on the vehicle based on the agreed upon offer and the other reviews stating that this dealership does not sell quality cars. When we returned to the dealership after the inspection to finalize the purchase, they informed us that they would not be honoring the already agreed upon offer, that was accepted in writing, and that we would need to pay an additional $4500 for the vehicle. We asked to be reimbursed for the inspection cost since they would not honor the originally agreed upon price, and they refused. We've had a few good experiences with Mike Bell Chevy with routine service and a recall issue, but things really went bad when my husband scheduled a repair for his truck. He had an error message come up on the dash. He called the dealership and scheduled an appointment early one morning to have it serviced. We dropped our truck off for service and waited all day to hear something (we didn't). My husband called to check on the progress that afternoon and was told they hadn't looked at it yet (WHAT?!?). He asked about the appointment, and they informed him that it was an appointment to get in line to be worked on....not an actual appointment for when the work would be done (yes, I'm serious). He told them he had to have his truck - he couldn't leave it up there for days before it was even looked at. They still wouldn't tell him when they would actually start work on it, so he told them he was coming to get it the next day. He complained to the service department, and was basically met with a shrug. We got a call from who I assume was the service manager, and he basically told us that yes - that is exactly how they do business. The appointment time meant the truck was in line to be worked on....not the time the truck actually got worked on. He talked to us like we were in the wrong for thinking a scheduled appointment meant that the truck would be worked on during that time. Needless to say we were floored. Also needless to say we will not be returning to that dealership. We made an appointment with Liberty Chevy in Villa Rica for the same issue. We dropped off the truck at our scheduled appointment time with Nycole Mauldin. She was friendly and got us going right away. We got a text a few minutes later that the truck was in the system and would be serviced soon. We got another text when the service started. We got a phone call a few hours later letting us know that everything had been taken care of. This was followed up by another text letting us know the truck was ready to be picked up. When we got there, she even ran out in the parking lot and got the truck and brought it to the service entrance door. Super nice. Friendly. Helpful. Error message is gone. We were 100% pleased with the service we received with Nycole at Liberty and will for sure be returning whenever we need service. read more

They honored the advertised price that I found is unusual with other dealers that advertise discounts on new trucks. They also gave me top dollar for my trade in. I found that it was very easy to do business with them. There was no taking back and forth of my offer to the sales manager- he came to me and we quickly closed the deal. I wish I could give a minus 1 star about their service dept. We purchased a used vehicle from them specifically because the carfax was so great....but it was all lies. They stated that the transmission was fine and the brakes were new. We didn't even get home from the dealership before the transmission acted up. They said no problem, bring it back and they would put a new one in at no cost. Great right? After 3 weeks we got it back and the transmission was still bad. Took it back again and 5 weeks later (that's right, it took them 5 weeks to find a part) we got it back. The very next day the brakes caught on fire! So they lied on the carfax and did none of the servicing that they claimed to have done. Very disappointed with the communication too...it was almost nonexistent. read more

I attempted to order a new car from Tim Prater (Salesman at Mike Bell Chevrolet) during our initial voice conversation, I told him about a local dealer that wanted $10,000 over MSRP and I walked away. He then proceeded to let me know that he was going to have an allocation the next month and I could have one. I said wow, great. After he ordered the new car, he sent me a Buyers Order that was really expensive and it was not the car I ordered, he said he would fix it (He didn't send a new one) and after several emails back and forth, he called and got me all worked up and excited about the new car going into build week. Then it was built and invoiced, it was the day after it was built that I received the actual buyers order. $15,000 over MSRP.... $15,000 over MSRP. I have every email and text, he never mentioned anything about over MSRP, heck, I even told him that I was not going to pay over MSRP. Well, he refunded my deposit and they are currently trying to sell the vehicle I ordered for $20,000 over MSRP plus Dealer Fees and Taxes. I hope it sits on their books for months. I have seen some unscrupulous sales tactics before, but this company is really bad. (As an aside: I spoke to the highest member of the management team and the message to me was they don't care about the circumstances of the conversations and emails, their policy is $15,000 over MSRP and that is that. Edit: This company according to "Zach Bell" pays someone to respond to negative comments. After I called multiple times last week, they sold the car on Saturday. Their statement that "the impression you received from our dealership is not okay. We would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to amend the situation, so contact me directly." was nothing more than a falsehood, a platitude written to give the appearance of concern, caring and customer service. They had multiple times to correct the issue and did not. According to Zach, they never had any interest in amending the situation. Digging that pit even deeper. read more

Originally purchased a Colorado at Mike Bell 2015. Pleasant experience overall and I loved the vehicle. Fast forward to today(2024) they were cold calling requesting I come in and they would give top dollar for trade in as they desperately needed trade ins. Went online as I was thinking of doing so and had in mind what I wanted. Their website was quoting me 17-18k for my Colorado where every other website(carmax, carvana, Scott Evans) quoted me 11-12k which is what kbb was also saying for trade in. I go into the dealership and they only offered 11k and was pressuring me to purchase the vehicle I was looking at with all these different scenarios. Made me extremely uncomfortable. Their website and tactics are just to get you in the door so they can pressure you like sleazy used car sales people at a new dealership. Stay away!! I ended up getting 12500 trade in at a dealership in Marietta with the deal I wanted. If their (Mike Bell)website was honest and the people weren't so pushy I would have traded in that day there and got the vehicle they had. I will never go back. Bought a equinox 2021 new from there. Whole vehicle shakes on startup and makes noises on acceleration. First time I brought it in it only had 600 miles on it. Twice I brought it in and they said they couldn't replicate the problem and it might be road noise. I asked for a manager to have me drive with the mechanic so he can hear it makes it every time on every road. I took a drive and he said he can hear it and something is going on with the tires And there might be an issue with the engine mounts. My car is in the shop Now and I have a $50 hold on my credit card because they are having me rent through enterprise had to wait an hour for the rental car to get there. Run away as fast as you can. This place is an absolute joke. They do not care about their customers, and they certainly don't care about you. I was in the market for a new Chevrolet Tahoe. I live 3 hours away from this dealership, however, I saw the exact model color and style that I wanted in a Tahoe, so I reached out to them to make the purchase. I am very much aware that in the current market, that I would be paying MSRP for this vehicle, and I was happy to do so, in cash!!! I also had a trade-in that they wanted, so I spent several hours taking photos so that they can come up with a value for the trade. They gave me a written offer, which I attached the photo to this post, and I excepted it. I asked how much they would like for me to put down using my credit card over the phone. The sales representative says that I had to show up to the dealership to make a credit card payment. I reminded them again that I lived three hours away, so that was not realistic. Again, as if she wasn't paying attention at all, she reminded me that they were open until 9 so I had time to get there to make the payment. For the 12th time, I reminded her that I live three hours away, but I'd be willing to drive down in a couple days when I had the day off from work, and by the car. She told me that the policy of the company is that they will actively continue to try to sell the vehicle, so in the event that some sucker was willing to pay more than MSRP, or they were able to screw someone over by giving them less than what their trade-in was worth, that they would sell the car to that unfortunate individual. So they couldn't guarantee me that the car would be available, even if I made the 6 hour round trip to this dealership. This is the most absurd thing I've ever heard of. And this is the reason why car dealerships get such a bad reputation. They do not care about you, and they're willing to throw you under the bus just to make a couple extra bucks. Do not buy a car from them, do not get your car service from them, they are completely unethical and unworthy of your business. I will be reporting this dealership to the Chevrolet company, because I am am sure that they would be appalled by how you are such a disgrace to the Chevrolet brand. Please don't reply to this post, with your cliché "We strive to offer the highest level of customer service" BS. I am buying cars for my wife and I almost every year. I dealt with multiple dealerships, some better some a little less. I have NEVR dealt with such a bad dealership as this one. They are the reason why dealerships have such a bad reputation. They gave me an offer on a vehicle they advertised (I have the offer documented) the next morning when I was ready to go, they raised the price in $3,000. Of course I couldn't get hold with the manager, and when I finally managed to get hold with the general sales manager and asked him why they are not honoring the price they gave me he said "Listen man" (such an unprofessional approach) "Nothing is promised until the deal is done. The price is the price". That's the most disgusting disrespectful approach a customer can have. Not to mention that the vehicle was priced over the original window sticker therefor the dealership has a lot of profit in it, but I guess greed is stronger than respect to those people. There is a good reason why big corporates are taking over with these kind of shady people. I wonder if the owner knows what's going on in his dealership. I see few reviews that the owner is replying, asking to call the dealership and talk to the staff, well your staff is the issue. My experience with Mike Bell's service department is hands down the worst I've ever encountered. Mark was the service tech, well supposed to be. I dropped my Tahoe off on 1/15/22 for an oil change and to check out a noise. I left it because he said they were very busy and could make an appointment for Thursday to have it looked at. I called multiple times Thursday and left messages and got no response. Same on Friday until I called from my work phone, he was screening my calls! He rudely said they were busy and haven't done anything. My husband called and was told they would try to look at it. Today, Monday, 1/22/24, the man wouldn't even take my call or call me back, had the receptionist tell me he'd call back in 10 minutes, that never happened. My husband had to call again because Mark won't talk to me. He told my husband they probably wouldn't get to it this week. They hadn't even changed the oil and I assume had no intention of ever checking out anything warranty related. I've had all my oil changed there, had tires put in there yet I'm not even with a phone call? Why does Chevy sell warranties if they refuse to even acknowledge a vehicle when brought in? Mark has a terrible attitude towards us as customers. I treated him with respect and common courtesy but it was certainly not shown in return. We had to pick my vehicle up and take it elsewhere because most of us don't just have extra transportation lying around. It makes me want to get rid of this Chevy and go back to Don Rich Ford where they performed every service and repair on my Explorer that I drove for 15 years. When applying brakes to trailblazer there is a squealing sound. This sound started one month after purchase. Mike Bell Service has look at this 2 times and I'm being told this is normal. Normal brakes, rotors, or calibers do not squeal. If Chevrolet has lowered the quality of parts being used I'll never own another Chevy product. As for Mike Bell "Home of the Life Time Warranty" they can't get brakes to stop squealing, how dependable will any work be that is completed at this location. read more

When I arrived I was told vehicle was in service and we could walk around to look at it. I looked at it but we were unable to get inside or drive the vehicle. Then learned they were waiting on a part to repair the vehicle. It would have been nice for them to let me know the vehicle was unable to drive as this would have changed my decision to visit dealership. I called and spoke to the GM and was told that they would like to cut me a check for the difference but since Mr. Bell and his sons are at a conference that I would have to wait for my check until at least Monday??? RUN AWAY!! WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE RATING IF IT WAS AN OPTION. Drove 2 hours across rush hour traffic to buy a car. Was promised that the car had checked out and no issues. We get there and the windshield has a crack and the tires are mismatched and one is about to bolw from a chunk missing on the sidewall. We work out those issues and are proceeding with purchase. We have a specific financing request that is repeated to salesman and finance guys at least 6 times which was completely ignored. The finance rate is significantly higher and finance guy could care less. My wife speaks the manager and he shrugs his shoulders and couldn't be more indifferent. Was so bad that we walk away from the deal. A week later as we are purchasing a car from a different dealer we find out the finance guy submitted me to 10+ different banks and causing my credit to drop 40 points. This of course stays on your credit for quite a while. WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!! Proceed at your own peril!!! read more

This isn't my first time having wait forever it seemed.. I had my oil changed a while back and it took two and half hours. Purchased a 2018 F 150. The advertised selling price was immediately increased by $280.00 with virtually no transparency as to why the increase. Quote the sales manager Jordan Bell, "I think it had to do with tires". Next comes the hard sell with the extended warranty. I knew that I had no intention of throwing away money for this and Mr. Bell became augmentative, after which he stated, "I though I had you". Are you kidding me?. Next comes the bill of sale with the bogus over-inflated "documentary and processing fee" of $699.00, which is NOT a mandatory fee and only a fraction of this amount. The day comes to take ownership of the vehicle. Mr. Bell's only statement was "Do you have the check", not glad to see you again or thanks for you business. I will say that Bob Moses (salesman) was the only redeeming factor in the whole transaction. Overall, Mr. Jordan Bell has a real attitude problem, and as a sales manager has a lot to learn, regardless of how many vehicles have been sold. read more

I bought a used chevy truck, really nice truck, a fair price, and the deal went down good. great guys. so 2 months go by and I still don't have a tag, I called and was very unhappy with their response, that they paid 18$ for it ,the tag office is only open 8 am till 4:45 pm , thru the week, and of course closed on Sat. I ask nicely if they could get them to have the tag , actually just the sticker part as I have my tag from my trade in. because we are slammed at work, and I don't have time , and cant take off work to go get it. the nice lady said I need to take care of it... bought a new 1500 truck in 2017.. got a fair deal.. not good or great just fair.. had a leveling kit and air bags installed from other company and they used cheap parts which made suspension noise.. I decided to take truck back to mike bell Chevrolet to get fixed right.. I knew this was going to costed me.. I called them on oct 17 and asked if I needed an appointment .. service dept said no just bring it in and we can at least look at your truck.. on oct 18 about 8am I took truck in to have it looked at.. a few hours later Michael beam (assit service manger ) told me it the level kit was installed incorrectly and they could install a new kit at the cost of $723.27 total and it could be finished later day... I didn't have time to sit and wait on my truck.. he said just pay the troubleshooting fee of 124.95 and when u bring truck back just pay the balance of $598.32.. I called the service dept on oct 27th and told them who I was and bringing truck in Monday morning on oct 29th... again I ask do I need to make appointment because I moved to alabama? the service dept said no need to because they have a light week.. on Monday morning at 8am oct 29th I had truck at service dept to finish the repairs.. Michael beam told me it would be next week before they had time .. I told him I just drove from alabama and can not keep making these trips.. buying a new truck from mike bell chevy you would think alittle customer appreciation would be nice but not here you can keep the $124.95 and buy condoms for your customers read more

They don't answer their phones, and I had to call them every time I wanted to get a status because they kept saying they hadn't gotten to it.
