These guys tried their best to help me out on a 3600 mile cross country trip. I had a front rotor come loose in Alabama and couldn't find a dealer open for a couple days. Finally arrived in Baton Rouge and they came out and looked at the bike to see what parts I needed. Unfortunately they only had 3 out of 5 of the bolts I needed. They even tried to see if they could find some used ones they were willing to give me for free to help me get going but none of the shop guys had any. Either way, 3 of them was enough to make a difference and hold it in place and I didn't get the other two until I made it to Arkansas. They spent a good 30-40 minutes helping me find the right parts and look for what I needed. I bought some poker chips as well. Great customer service! On top of that they had a really good selection in the showroom and the customer/HOG lounge was outstanding! They even gave us some free bottles of water since it was a bazillion degrees outside and we were melting. I would definitely recommend this location. read more

Do not buy a motorcycle from Tower's Harley Davidson in Baton Rouge, LA. The salesgirl was great, but once the sale is done the service department will treat you like you are stupid and they prove to you that they do not want to deal with you! A brand new 2026 Nightster started throwing 2 codes, B226281 & P057200, a few weeks after the purchase on May 9th. The battery ended up dying on May 25th after riding for a while. Tower's picked it up on May 29th, kept it for 2 weeks, changed the battery and supposedly cleared the codes without even looking into why those codes were on. They said, "the codes didn't come on while they had it." Well, you have to ride it for them to come on. We went to Baton Rouge, we live around Lafayette, to Tower's June 6th to check on my bike because we weren't hearing anything. The salesgirl that sold us the bike went to Ken, the head service guy, to see what was going on after asking how I was enjoying my motorcycle and I told her I'm not because it's here with problems. Ken yelled at her that it was not her business and she had no business being in the service department. I got it back on June 12th and the first ride, the codes came back. It was saying B226281 & P057200 codes AGAIN. Ken was blaming it on user error. We have the text to prove it. He said if we brought it back, we would be charged a diagnostic fee. It is a brand new motorcycle under warranty. I reached out to the Better Business Bureau after we brought it to Cajun Harley Davidson in Scott, LA on June 16th. Corporate reached out to us and contacted Cajun Harley to give them ideas on a fix. They changed several things (brake clutch, wiring and the ECM or BCM) and the codes kept coming back. Corporate flew out a specialist from Wisconsin. It ended up being a certain mechanism for the brake system not being machined right. So, it was in fact a factory defect and NOT user error as Ken proclaimed. Cajun Harley Davidson in Scott was the only ones that actually tried everything they could to get my bike back in running condition. As of today, July 9th, Tower's has yet to reach out to even talk about a resolution. All Tower's worries about is having "customer appreciation" parties every weekend. Maybe the service department should worry about fixing actual issues. You cannot "appreciate" your customers if you refuse service because it's warranty work and you can't overcharge for the "work". read more

A Truly Exceptional Experience at Mike Bruno's Harley-Davidson! If there were a way to give a "TEN STAR" review, I would without hesitation! I'm going to try to keep this brief, though my experience was so outstanding, it's hard to do it justice in just a few words. In 2014, I was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident that left me with almost every bone broken, a punctured lung, a slashed liver, and countless other injuries. As a result, I'm no longer able to ride two wheels and rely on a walker just to get around. After nearly a decade of being off the road, I decided it was time to look into purchasing a trike. I walked into Mike Bruno's Harley-Davidson one Wednesday afternoon around 2 PM, knowing exactly what I was looking for ( I thought)--a used trike within a specific budget. However, after spending a few hours browsing with Dale, the used trkes, none of the options really appealed to me. Used bikes are often cheaper, and I assumed I could save money, but I didn't want to settle for something that didn't feel right. Dale and Brian, two of the most patient and professional people I've EVER met, over the next several hours, they patiently worked with me, walking me through various bikes, discussing features, prices, and helping me weigh my options. Never once did I feel rushed, even though it was well past closing time when I finally made up my mind to purchase a BRAND NEW trike. Their knowledge, patience, and genuine desire to find the right fit for me made the entire experience a pleasure. It was worlds apart from my previous bike-buying experiences with different owner's and staff. I can't thank them enough for their commitment to customer satisfaction. When I moved on to the finance department, I met Bo, and once again, I was thoroughly impressed. Bo's professionalism, thoroughness, and sense of humor made the usually stressful financing process smooth and enjoyable. He took the time to explain everything, ensuring that I was fully informed every step of the way. Even though it was well after hours, he never made me feel like I was an inconvenience. It's rare to find that level of care and attention to detail, especially AFTER HOURS! Two days later, I returned to the dealership for some shopping. Standing for even short periods of time due to my injuries can be incredibly painful, so when I told Dale I wanted to shop but also told him about my pain, he didn't hesitate for a second. He immediately went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. He found an office chair with wheels,then he pushed me over to the ladies dept., I've never experienced that level of personalized care at a dealership before, and it made my day. While I was in the ladies' department, I was assisted by Jayme, Allie, and Val. The three of them were a dream team--attentive, thoughtful, and truly eager to help me find exactly what I wanted. I mentioned my size preferences, that I preferred V-neck styles, and that I didn't want anything white. They immediately got to work, picking out items that would suit me, and brought them over for me to decide. There was no pressure, just a genuine effort to ensure I was happy with my choices. When I mentioned that I didn't know how I was going to transport everything (my walker takes up most of my trunk space), Jayme, in a completely unexpected act of kindness, offered to personally deliver my items to my house after she got off work. This was a huge lifesaver, and I'll forever be grateful for her thoughtful offer and follow-through. Next, I headed over to the parts department, where I met Mike. Again, I was SO impressed by the level of service. I was looking to order a backrest, brackets, and a luggage rack for my trike, and I also wanted to explore options for slip-on exhausts to enhance the sound of my bike. Mike took the time to walk me through several options, explaining the pros and cons of each. When I couldn't make up my mind about the slip-ons, he suggested that I wait and listen to other bikes while on the road and then decide. His honest, no-pressure approach was refreshing. He even went out of his way to check with the service department about the installation costs for it all before I made my purchase, ensuring I had all the information I needed. Then, Mike wheeled me over to the service department, where I met Kaitlyn. She was incredibly helpful in explaining the installation process for all the accessories I had ordered, as well as the costs and appointment setup. Once again, no pressure, just clear and helpful information that made the entire process easy to understand. Then, it was time for me to leave, Mike and Dale kindly helped me out of the store, took apart my walker to make sure it fit in my trunk, and packed everything up for me. I took my boyfriend's 2021 Road Glide Limited in for a 1K service. We didn't ride much over the following month, but on a ride this week, his transmission drain plug came out completely, draining all of the transmission fluid. He got under the bike, and found the engine oil drain plug half way out. It was a Sunday, and the dealership was closed, so we trailered the bike home. Once they opened Tuesday, he called and spoke with the Service Manager, Chelsea. She assured him that they would take care of everything and give the bike a complete once over, just to be sure. They did however say, they couldn't send a driver to pick it up, so he would have to figure out how to get it there. Wednesday, he stopped by the store to talk to Darrin, the General Manager about getting the bike to the store. Darrin was not in, so he spoke with Chelsea again. He asked if they would pay for a tow truck to get the bike there, since they could not pick it up. She stated they would not authorize that. Frustrated, he asked her to just give him a new oil plug and the fluid and he would do the work himself. She told him she "could not" just give him the parts, but that she could sell him the parts. She then proceeded to tell him that plugs don't just vibrate out, which is correct IF the plug is properly torqued down, but is completely possible if the tech forgot to torque them down. They have instituted policies such as - There is a $50 minimum purchase in parts. You must have the parts installed at the dealership in order to purchase said parts at the parts counter. You can't buy oil for your bike at the parts counter. They only keep it for the service dept., yet another way of trying to force customers to use their incompetent service department. This is the WORST dealership in Louisiana, if not the country. We will NEVER set foot back in that store. read more

I sent them a cashiers check yesterday from California and some guy named Riley said he will be in touch as soon as the check arrives, and I get a call back that the bike was sold. First come first serve my ass, I thought we closed the deal and all you had to do is receive the check by today, I even texted the prick all the information regarding the check and sent it with fed ex and spent 70$ just so it got there asap. I brought my bike in to have the rear tire replaced and as a good consumer I asked for the total. I was given the total in these words" the is 369.16 this is where we start." I was like, where we start? We'll their explanation was this would be the price if they don't find anything else wrong. Bullshit! I told them the final price is 369.16 period for the tire. I then decided to have the front wheel balanced and they said no problem. $97.00 dollars for the front wheel only, the tire still isn't balanced. I've bought my last three bikes from Lafayette Harley, which isn't a whole lot better but maybe a one star better, just because of their sales bait and switch tactics which I don't have the energy to go into. Harley Davidson can't really do anything to these independent dealerships when they harm a customers bike and they don't make it right. I will never buy or have any of my Harley's serviced by Baton Rouge or Hammond Harley Davidson. Both dealerships are owned and general managed by the same people. You have been warned. read more

Shopped a used bike there. Was told I could test ride. Turns out, you have to BUY the bike first, then test ride, and if you didn't want the bike, they would "tear up the paperwork"....SKETCHY as F**K!! I pulled up there on a bike worth almost 3 times the bike I was considering, so me stealing it or something was not a probability. They gave some bullchit excuse about needing it insured (my current insurance on my bike covers test rides, as does ALL insurance). Also, they charge a $499 fee for "refurbishment", and supposedly check all systems on bike. Bike was FILTHY when I got there, and they couldn't even figure out how to remove seat to check out battery! I had to show them how to do it, and of course, the mechanism was broken, so good luck if the battery was to go bad. They also could not figure out how to turn on auxiliary lighting. I got the heck out of there as fast as possible. I wouldn't buy a tshirt from those guys! I wonder if HD Corporate knows how these guys are behaving?? read more

I was on a long road trip and broke down outside Baton Rouge. I was towed to the local HD dealer. The mechanic, Jeff O'Brian, used the computer to diagnose the ETC problem but made sure the indicated problem sensor was actually not functioning. He found it was working so he proceeded to work back through the wiring harness and found a broken wire. I really appreciated his effort. He had me back on the road quickly and for a reasonable cost. I made it home to South Florida with no other issues. read more

Be careful of what you sign!! I am pretty upset right now, but i will try and just leave facts for the review. i came in to this dealership this evening looking for parts, and couldn't fight the urge to look at bikes. A salesman approached me and started pitching at me. I told him I currently own a motorcycle and i was just looking. He asked me it i would do a trade, and i responded with, " for the right trade in value of my bike i may consider.". he says "well let me see what i can do for you, i could probably get you an estimate on what your bike is worth, that way you can have an idea and could better consider buying". so i agreed. he asked for information and started to fill out an application. I made sure i read the application and of course it was a finance application. I questioned the salesman "you are not running my credit, right? i only want an estimate, but he assures me its only for the estimate. (I did not bring my bike in to get looked at, i wanted to see if they do book value, didn't want to waste time getting low balled) i signed the semi filled application, and after a few minutes a "manager" comes to congratulate me on my new purchase. I was like what?! so i explained to him about the estimate, and he said "oh i thought you were taking it today? i replied with "No" then, after explaining to the manager about the estimate , i received a store tour. i began to meet every department, met a few employees. Finally i had enough and asked the salesman "are they running the credit application right now?" he replied with yes.. i almost let my PTSD get the best of me.( Im an active duty Marine, with combat related PTSD). needless to say, we rushed to the finance department to tell them not to run my score, but it was too late. I got furious, i looked for the manager around the store to have a word with him. i found him, told him of the situation, and he replied "sorry about that, that sucks" (to my disbelief). i finally received the quote i had originally asked for and i was advice by the finance guy that this inquiry of credit report would not hurt my (he said my credit score number out loud) credit score much, (thanks finance guy!) needless to say i will not be doing ANY business with this dealership. i'm sure this is not the way Harley does business. i do feel like an idiot! i read the application, but decided to trust. i trusted that they conducted business differently. shame on me... read more

The team back in service is great, the clutch on my 2011 Heritage Softail was slipping and they helped me get back on the road in no time. On the other hand, I went to the clothing department to get fitted for a rain suit and the young lady that was helping me was knowledgeable and helpful... but after a few minutes into her demo an older blonde lady interrupted, and sent her away. BRHD contacted ME regarding my 2013 Heritage Softail Classic for sale on social media. I have my bike posted for sale for $12,500 after checking blue book values. They offered for me to come in and allow them to make an offer. First of all, I am not ignorant and knew going in that they would not offer the $12,500 I was asking but trade in is currently $10,350 and I was expecting an offer in the $9,000-$10,000. Fairly, they could then sell it for the $12,500-$13,500 and still make a little money. What did BRHD offer me? $6,100. I told them I was insulted and left. They also lied and said my bike needs tires. My tires only have 5,000 miles on them. I had already said I would never set foot in here after the way they have treated friends, the local HOG chapter, and two separate Military support groups but now, I can assure I will NEVER set foot in there again. I'll drive to New Orleans or Lafayette. Won't go to Hammond either, same owners. Ever since they bought BRHD the "customer service" has nothing to do with the customer. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT BUY FROM BR HARLEY DAVIDSON. My boyfriend bought a bike last week they sent him the picture the salesman took of him and the bike and everything. He had the paperwork completed, insurance, everything ready for pick-up last week and on Monday - no bike. We went to pick up his bike on Monday and the salesman told him that "the weekend salesmen" sold HIS bike. They acted as though it was no big deal and there was nothing that could be done about it. They also mysteriously do not have any of the paperwork that was signed. He now has to pick up his down payment today that was put down LAST WEEK. What kind of business runs like this? Sketchy, dishonest people and terrible inter-company communication. This staff should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT WASTE YOUR CREDIT CHECK, TIME, OR MONEY ON BR HARLEY DAVIDSON. read more

Previously, I wrote a review that appears to have been deleted by someone. In that review I explained that this shop refused to work on my bike after they had previously repaired it following an accident which had occurred a few months prior. No one explained why they blacklisted me. Over the years, I've had both good and bad experiences here. When you shop anywhere for that long it's inevitable. What matters most is integrity.... Fixing mistakes. The old GM wouldn't even acknowledge them. The service manager and I went around once and after that he made an effort to make things better...I appreciate that. It's the right thing to do and helps build a positive image. I had no complaints with the service dept. The GM has changed since then and most people seem to think its for the best. Until today, I've had no opinion. Today, the GM refunded an item I had dropped off for warranty issues two months ago. No hassles. Yes, it was the right thing to do and hopefully it's a sign that things are changing there. There are and always have been a lot of good people working there and I've missed seeing them. I'm sorry the salesmen never called me back two months ago...I might have bought my new bike from them. Oh well! I do want to add that when my bike was fixed after being wrecked that it took less time than predicted and went smoothly. I had one issue with my pipe but it was handled and that's what matters. read more

Yelp deleted my last negative review of Harley Davidson of Baton Rouge, so here I go again. I agreed to buy a 2014 Ultra Limited from HD of BR for $24500, I made the offer, they called me at work and said they could sell it for that, I said get it ready and I'll come by after work. After wasting an hour and a half of my time the sales manager finally greets me. I hand over a check for $8000.00 and start signing papers, when he gets to the invoice they added $1498.00 back into the bike for freight and dealer prep. I said that's not what agreed on and to give my check back, and walked out. They called me before I got home and offered to take it off and they would knock another $500.00 off. THEY CAN KEEP IT.
