JJ has already helped my game after just two hours working together immensely. He not only has taught me how to make the right adjustments to my swing but is the first golf coach I have worked with that taught me how to properly practice and work on my game. He is extremely engaged with helping new students get up to speed and will jump on the phone with you or text you back to answer any questions you have as well as discuss practice. What sets Jay apart isn't just his knowledge of golf equipment--although he can talk clubs, shafts, and ball flight for hours. It's his integrity. At no point did I ever feel like I was being pushed into a certain club because of a commission, manufacturer relationship, or sales incentive. His only goal is to find what actually works best for your swing. I've paid significantly more for fittings elsewhere, and I've had clubs built for more than double what Jay charges. Despite that, none of those experiences came close to the value, attention to detail, and results I've received working with him. Once I found Jay, it felt like unlocking a toolbox I never knew I had. The equipment finally matched what I was trying to do, and the confidence that came with that carried over to every part of my game. In the span of a single year, I went from a 15 handicap to a 4 handicap and am now working toward scratch golf. If you're looking for someone who is honest, knowledgeable, passionate about the game, and genuinely invested in helping golfers improve, I can't recommend Jay highly enough. Lessons can be frustrating but he has the patience and personality to get you through to the success you're looking for. From a child to a senior, to a competitive golfer I promise he will make you better. I took lessons with him for 6 months and it changed everything. You get to hit outside in real conditions, not on a screen. He gives you drills to practice outside of your lessons at the range. Personally I can not tell you enough about Ryan and his qualities/traits as a teacher and his set-up at Rustic. Alison is hands down the best golf instructor I've worked with and her accolades are well deserved…read more She takes a very personal and customized approach when working with you to determine not only what your goals are, but the best method of achieving them. Early on she explains that there is no one way to swing that works for everyone, and based on your body and quirks she helps construct a method of learning to reach your results in a very short amount of time. She also takes the time to explain how and why the changes are going to help which I personally enjoy as I have learned more about the physics of golf from her than any previous instructor. There is also the mental aspect that she takes the time to work with you on. Why are you doing something a certain way? What are you thinking about when you are doing your pre-shot routine (don't have one of those? Don't worry. She'll work with you to construct one that works for you.) Personally she's added 15 yards to my irons, helped me dial in a 40 and 60 yard chip that I now look forward to hitting, and gotten my driver going straight as an arrow. I plan on continuing to work with her to improve my game even more and add more shots to my arsenal. I cannot recommend her enough and am almost certain after taking a lesson with her you'll be scheduling the next one as soon as it is over. Do yourself a favor and book her right now if you have any interest in getting better at golf.
