We have used him twice in the last couple of weeks in our recent home search. Mike was recommended by our realtor. Within the first week of moving in, we experienced the following problems: 1. No heat on the second floor where all our bedrooms located 2. Doorbell didn't work 3. Two electric outlets in the living room did not work 4. Water pressure was abnormally high according to the plumber we hired. We had to replace the water pressure reducing valve immediately 5. Master shower was completed clogged We made multiple attempts to contact Mike, but he never responded. You don't want an inspector who doesn't respond when issues come up. Go with someone with more reviews, instead of just trusting your realtor's recommendations. We learned this the hard way. I read the reviews on this site and decided to go with Mike. Yes, he was punctual and professional. The things noted during the inspection were all minor. Mike told me I was getting a good house. Shortly after moving into the home, I discovered one of the furnaces didn't work, windows that needed to be replaced, a broken faucet in the customized kitchen sink and a fireplace without doors. These items should have been pointed out during my inspection but were missed. This is my third home purchase, and I have yet to find an inspector who points out anything of value. read more

Even though he wouldn't be able to inspect our home he took 15 minutes just to go over what things I should look for in finding a reputable inspector. Mike is a one man show, but he's very good at what he does. As an engineer myself, he was really spiffy to talk to and explained what he was doing, and answered a ton of my questions. He's relatively inexpensive compared to the other inspectors I got quotes from too. The price he charged was even less than what's on his website ($175 for a tiny condo), so you might check with him about that too. He's licensed and all that jazz, and takes credit cards. read more

Watch out for this guy. He'll give scary opinions that aren't backed up with facts. He lead our buyers to believe our roof wasn't fully replaced and that the siding needed to be completely replace, both of which were untrue. I'm sure he's caused several broken deals because of inaccurate information. read more

Mike recently performed a home inspection for my soon to be first home. He was exceptionally professional on the phone setting up the appointment and even adjusted his schedule to get us in few days early. He arrived to the appointment early and had already inspected the roof. While we started off with bad news (needs new roof), things quickly got much better. He explains everything as he's inspecting it, and provides suggestions for improvements both functionally and aesthetically. He spent about 2 hours at the house and got us the report early the next day. He was very friendly, answered all our questions, and provided excellent customer service.
