Mike and Jaime just did an amazing job on our Sonoma home repairing/painting the house exterior, including the outside deck! During the job, I inquired and they were able to include whitewashing of the exterior bricks, painting of our dual front entry doors, and the repainting of the laundry cabinet doors. They both have strong attention to detail and provide us insight and thoughts to consider as if it were their own home. I would give them 6-stars if I could, so the 5-start is being conservative for the job they did. We are EXTREMELY happy with the results, project duration, and a reasonable price to boot. read more

Apparently he is a handy man as well. Considering how flaky and what a terrible job he did with our home inspection, I would NOT recommend. Came to our home, payment was made to him, his equipment failed and he walked off and never returned. Here is my other review to his inspection services. He will ghost you Not responsive! Incomplete inspection! I questioned why our inspection did not include a thorough roof inspection. He offered to come back to our home to complete it. He came, his equipment failed. He left and never returned as he said he would. He also never reached back out to us after leaving several messages. Of course payment was made to him and he was super responsive prior to payment.....until we never heard back...very disappointed and I would not recommend. We were introduced to Mike via our realtor and he really came through on fixing some important items in our new-to-us home in Napa. We had a hard time finding a local GC (all so busy these days!) and we found that from rough framing, plumbing, electrical to trim, Mike has been able to cover many items, often at a cost savings. We have been impressed by his work quality and ability to work under our quick timelines, even working on a weekend as needed. I contracted Mike to recaulk my bathtub and the caulk work was good and Mike was very friendly but need to add some constructive criticisms... 1. Showed up 30 minutes late to the appointment with no check in 2. Wasn't prepared with some necessary things, drop cloth or booties to walk in my home 3. Asked to use my own cleaning tools 4. Was going to put old caulking in the toilet which would clog my plumbing- caulking should never be put into plumbing 5. Left my bathroom really dirty with shavings everywhere, dirty sponge in the sink and filthy tub so I had to clean my entire bathroom. Also he didn't offer to pick up the drop cloth I put down for him. Mike did follow up the next day to see how his work was holding up and I appreciate that, but I did pay good money for overall not the best service. Good potential but needs improvement. read more

Very disappointed as there are many 5 Star reviews and I was hoping to receive the same service as indicated by these reviews. No such luck. Never showed for a scheduled appointment with our tenants to look at some handywork needed for our rental property. Not even a phone call. I gave him the benefit of the doubt by calling him for an explanation as I realize sometimes things happen, but consider his non responsiveness the ultimate in unprofessional business practices. Mike was amazing! Not only did he answer his phone (rare in Sonoma) but he actually showed up...and on TIME (also rare in Sonoma)!! He was super responsive and quick to come out and fix just a couple of things around my house. The lever to the kitchen sink and a screen door were broken. No job was too small for him. Talked to him yesterday, and he sounded personable, competent and professional. We discussed some plumbing and carpentry projects, which he said he could do. He then offered to come the following afternoon to take care of one of the plumbing projects, which he said was more urgent and that we would schedule the other projects at a later time. Because he was squeezing me in, he would call first to let me know when he was coming. It's almost 6pm....no phone call. No show. I suppose I could have called earlier to double check he was still coming, but feel the weight of the responsibility to make the initial call was his. I suppose it doesn't matter at this point. Better to know he isn't as reliable now as it seems he used to be. Time to find someone else! read more

Mike was super helpful and friendly. Our place needed fixing up and I may have...overestimated my own handyman skills. On two different occasions Mike squeezed me into his schedule to help me wire light fixtures and mount a flatscreen TV. He charged me around $50 each time and it was well worth it. Mike worked with me over a year. He did everything from making my four bedroom into a three bedroom. Which gave me a palatial master suite. Mike also installed over a 1000 square feet of engineered hickory floors, painted my cabinets and entire interior of my home, built me a brand new redwood fence, installed a new microwave, sink and problem solved when I had appliance issues. I never write reviews but Mike did such a great job! He came over 15 minutes after I called, went to Friedman's to buy a new smoke alarm, and installed it. As he was leaving I mentioned that some outdoor lights weren't working. He discovered it was the GFI, fixed it at no extra charge. read more

Mike might be a great handyman - if he shows up. I called him about a problem in a house I rent. He didn't call me back. My tenant called him and Mike came over and took a look at the problem. He said he would go to the hardware store the next day, come back and fix the issue - but he never showed up. My tenant called him a couple weeks later. Mike said he forgot and would come over the following Friday. He never showed up. I am now looking for another, more reliable handyman. read more
