They were going to come back the next day to lay the new floor, and so I had limited time to find someone to help with this job. I also needed the old rusted toilet flange removed from the pipe, which involved a sawzall, chisel and some hard work. Rick answered the phone, clarified what I needed, purchased the material and delivered it, tore out the old subfloor that needed replacing, and installed the new subfloor and did the demolition on the old toilet flange. Everything that I needed done, that same day, at a very reasonable price. Very happy with Rick's service, communication, attentiveness, and willingness to tackle a project he hadn't done before. I'll probably be giving him a call again soon for another project we need done.

He did a fantastic job, so recently, we had him back to paint the interior and exterior of our new front windows. He helped us pick the perfect color for the interior trim and the border lines on the exterior are super sharp. The window are beautiful! Rick also did a number of other jobs for us since then: drywall repair on kitchen ceiling, installation & painting quarter-round trim for ~21 ft exposed beam, installation of matching vinyl quarter-round for floating floor around brick fireplace, installing a Ring doorbell, repairing a bad bathroom cabinet door hinge whose screw was stripped, and installing a covered cable run for A/V cables on our TV room wall. Every job was done to perfection and Rick listened to what we wanted; quite often, he helped us come up with something even better than we originally had in mind! We already have the next batch of jobs ready for him, and look forward to Rick helping us with the myriad projects we have in mind down the road!.

Kevin scammed us and left us scrambling for a new handyman. We found him from our seller's listing…read moreagent and when we meet up with him he was full of promises. Once we signed an agreement he asked for a deposit so we agreed to $5k. The project was new floors, painting inside and outside of the house, patch up medicine cabinets, new carpets, new quartz counters, new hardware installed, and recess lighting and other misc items the house needed. We trusted him with our house and money. The first week he lost the house keys and had to break the backyard door and the garage door leading inside the house which he fail to replace. After 3 weeks on the project we ended up doing demo ourselves as he was to busy with 6 other projects. He broke things and made a mess. Showing up once a week for a few hours in the evening and didn't complete anything. We asked for our money back and he went MIA. Would not return our call or text. Long story short he left us in the worst position and would not respond to us. If you ever meet this guy run he will not keep his word or do the work he say he will do and never give him a deposit only pay for what has been completed that was our mistake. This was a nightmare. Never in a million year did we think we would purchase a home and get scammed for remodeling.
