It was alright. It was 9:30 at night the first day after we bought our new house that I stumbled in here, looking for hot sandwiches after we moved the first batch of things into our new home. This place looked popular, clean, and had a variety of things to try. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and the Italian. The pastrami was heated but for some reason the Italian was not, though I'd asked for both to be toasted. We were both ravenous, so they didn't last. They were alright. The new garlic knots they sold were pretty darn good. I could taste the garlic salt but they were greasy/buttery, and chewy (though just a smidge under cooked). I had to wait longer than normal because they thought there was more food coming than there was. Nope, had I ordered wings, my husband would've been a truly happy man. We'll be back to try other things on the menu, and to see if they can get those garlic knots done perfectly. read more

I'm not sure why all the bad reviews but I've had two great experiences there. I had the loaded blt which was delicious and nice crunchy fries, and tonight I had the whole clam roll with French fries. I have to admit I wanted more clams but they're expensive, you get what you pay for. They were sweet and tasty. So, two experiences both great! Ordered two chicken bacon ranch subs from here and when we opened them up the bacon was not even cooked... we called to complain and the person on the phone said (and I quote) "yeah i believe you on the bacon i know who's in the kitchen right now".... never mind they completely screwed up the sandwiches to begin with and gave us everything we specifically didn't ask for. read more

I'm changing my review to one star because after taking a very long break from their restaurant, I gave them another try and find they still have horrible customer service. My order was left at the wrong address and I had to go through a whole debate and fight over the phone just to be believed and get my money back. It was horrible! The little girl on the phone just wanted to argue with me and give me attitude. I actually got emotional before she just finally shut up and listened to what I was saying. I spent money on a family meal that I didn't get and somehow they were trying to act like I was at fault. Even once they realized THEY were in fact the ones who made a mistake and got my address wrong, they still were unapologetic and tried to rush me off the phone as soon as possible. I was having none of it and was determined to speak my peace and get my refund. It's really an awful shame because I 100% believe they have some of the best pizza in the area. We ordered 4 small bar pizzas and a salad to be delivered. They told us 45 minutes. It took 1.5 hours! Twice the amount of time. To make matters worse, it was cold. We didn't end up paying for it but we went to Mike's this time bc Themis did the same thing to us recently. It's a popular place, but not because their food is awesome or anything. Mike's is your average greasy fried food and pizza joint. The pizza is OK. This place is wonderful. I order lunch here at least 2-3 times per week if not more, while working in the office at Casey Movers. The pizza is great, sometimes on the greasy side but easily forgivable. My daughter loves it. I often order the chicken cutlet sub, but have also had the steak and cheese which is good as well as the grilled chicken salads. The best part about this place is the prompt delivery service. They usually say about thirty minutes... but it's often more like five. Unassuming from outside but a very cool interior that is clean and inviting. Very large menu with all the typical pizza/sub shop choices plus full dinners and ice cream. For a neighborhood pizza, subs, and pasta place, Mike's hits the spot. We're not talking gourmet food, but when you don't want to cook and would rather order out, consider Mike's. Subs, sandwiches, pasta (their penne and broccoli alfredo is nothing short of divine), and platters fill most of their menu. However, you may be surprised to know they also offer Mexican food. Although I've never had it, my better half has and he's commented that it's "not half bad." As for the pizza, it is a typical Greek pie. We've ordered it on several occasions and for $10 for a large pizza, the price isn't bad. We haven't been real impressed with the pizza (mostly we order it out of sheer convenience than anything). The edge of the crust is most always crispy, but the rest is frequently soggy loaded with lots of cheese. I won't recommend the pizza, but I'll recommend it on the subs and pasta. read more

I had order steak tips rare,onion rings and potato salad. When I wrote that I couldn't believe how bad my order was I got a call the next Day from Maryann, she apologized for the service and said she would make sure my order was replaced if I came down she would replace my order for free. I went and met Maryann and she had my order replaced, along with a soda a brownie and before I left she asked if I needed tp, which shocked me. I was more than pleased with my order when I got home. Order delivery tonight, 30 mins after I order I got a call telling me they don't deliver outside a 5 mile radius. I explained I only live 1.9 miles. After another 30 mins I get a call from the driver and he tells me he outside my front door. I go to the door and he is not there. I explain he is not at my door he said I don't know what happened. I called and spoke to the manger she said that she doesn't know what happened with the call earlier or where the driver was and he would be there in 5 mins. I explained this is unacceptable and her response was it's only been 50 mins and that's why they tell everyone one hour or more for delivery. So it's not that they are busy that they give an hour eta it's so if they get lost. Well that 5 mins was yet another 30 mins. After spending 60plus dollars the food finally arrived cold and nasty. The staff and manager at this restaurant don't care about the customer or the quality of the food. Save you money don't go to this restaurant. read more

Ordered from here twice now-both delivery. Pulled pork sandwich, fisherman's platter, steak and cheese sub all very good. I like that they have a huge menu with a loyalty program and you can order online. The one think I will say is both times I ordered online the system quoted me at 90-120 minutes but food came in 30-40 minutes. Excited to try the rest of the menu....so far so good. read more

They're my usual spot to go to for pizza. As far as I'm concerned they've got the best pizza in Rockland. I've tried some of their other meals as well pretty much every time I've gotten food from there I've never had an issue. Place is an absolute joke don't waste your time. Every time I call something in it is never ready on time and they make you wait forever. The last straw was ordering a quesadilla for pick up - was told 20 minutes on the phone. Showed up 25 minutes later and they clearly never started the order. A half hour later after a new counter person showed up to ask what I was waiting for they finally said " a few more minutes". This whole time my dog is sitting in the car waiting on an order that should have been ready 40 minutes before. To top it off I get home which is 4 minutes down the road and the food isn't even hot, no salsa or anything to dip it in. Go somewhere else and don't waste your time or money. read more

I ordered on line for a meal of cheese pizza & chicken broccoli & ziti to be delivered. However, it went thru as pickup so I ordered again & it went thru for delivery. They called me to verify which order was correct, I said delivery. Weeks later I got my bank statement & they charged me for both orders. I have ordered veggie pizza from other places and have to pick off veggies because they put to many on. Causing the pizza to soggy. But not at Mike's pizza. Food used to be sooo good, but the last 2 times we've ordered it's been AWFUL, like inedible! First awful experience we got taco pizza, cheese pizza & ff pizza and all three of them were burnt to a crisp. We were hoping it was just an off night. The other night we got "baked Mac & cheese" which was just over cooked noodles with some melted shredded cheese over it (i gagged it tasted so bad), garlic Parmesan wings - which were ok at MOST and garlic knots which were pretty good. I picked up some take out at Mike's this evening. There was a cook in back without a mask on. A customer came in without a mask he was not even social Distancing. I expressed my concerns with the cashier She told me she was not allowed to call out anybody who is not wearing a mask. Don't eat there. I love Mike's. No - that isn't an exaggeration. Yes - their service and food is awesome. But to be fair - I order the same exact thing most of the time. They have the BEST salads in the area. THE B-E-S-T. They are a great portion, lots of good stuff on it (not just a pile of lettuce) and if you get a salad topped with grilled chicken (which I highly recommend) you get a ton of grilled, marinated chicken that is absolutely delicious. There subs are also really yummy and they fill them with what you actually ordered (not just tons of lettuce or other fillers). Delivery is always quick (even on busy Friday night) prices are cheap and the service is friendly if you go in.
