He has some fettish about ordering people around and exactly when 'you will do what'. And I'm not referring to paying on time any normal thing that could be truly legit, objectionable, to a normal owner. Customers are not children and the arrogant attitudes going on with this owner is the oddest thing I've seen in business, in a few decades. And I've worked with many many entities. Its like a chip on the shoulder, or way too many trigger buttons to kindly and peacefully work with the public.

We did not like the plastic, cheap looking solutions they offered and the price was very high. We decided to look around and went to Pinch-A-Penny in Lutz, FL for something else but asked if they could help us find what we were looking for. They the exact model we were looking for and said they had an installer. The price was very reasonable so we bought the hand rail and I called Michael's to schedule the install. They quickly gave me a date a few days out. The tech's sent me a text to let me know they were on there way and I had the part ready for them when they arrived. They took the time to listen to my thoughts on the install and they had some very good recommendations on where to install. I was told they would tell me what type of escutcheons to purchase for the install but they had anticipated what I needed and had it with them. This saved me a trip to pick some up. They had to drill two holes in my pool deck and they did a good job limiting the dust and cleaned up after they cemented the handrail in place. While there, they took a look at a pool light issue and were able to quickly determine the problem and took the time to educate me on how the system works. I would not hesitate to call them for any pool issues in the future.

After reviewing several companies, I gave Mark a call. He came out to my property the next day and assessed my pool and all of my pool equipment. We wanted to do a saltwater pool, but with additional expenses we had incurred from the house, we could not. Mark worked with us and provided us several alternatives for getting our pool up and running. Once we finalized everything, he and his team were out at our place working diligently. The pool looked amazing after they were finished. Mark also returned after our initial cleaning service because we were not home and could not monitor the pool filling, so he kindly left a fill timer on our hose. Aside from doing a great job, Mark really cares about his customers. He is readily available when you need him and takes care of you as soon as possible. He understands what taking care of a customer means and goes beyond what I expect from my service. He is knowledgeable and provides honest guidance, all for a fair price. As a small business owner myself, I'm acutely aware of how other people conduct their business and as a customer, I rarely get to experience the kind of service Viking Pool provides. As they seemed to get bigger and increase the price, the quality of services decreased, greatly. They added more people, which is good for business i understand, but they were never trained up to par and had several issues. Whenever texting the owner hed always blame the guys and say they're working on getting shown trained up rather than taking the blame himself as the owner. I had him doing my father in laws house and he recently left too. Very unapologetic and never really took any blame for himself. We were having constant issues with our pool and the pool service we were using…read more It was constantly green, and the pool service we were using continually gave us excuses, saying the issues were our fault. (We did need a new filter, but they said they couldn't get it clear, as "it's been raining," "your mulch is too high in the planter," "you have a screen out," etc. The old service never could get it clear.) We called Willis Pool Service, and Tyler came out and told us the problems. (He also said those were flimsy excuses for not getting the pool clear.) He checked the chemicals, adjusted, and a day later, it was crystal clear! A DAY LATER!!! They are our new pool service, and I HIGHLY recommend them!

He used compressed air so he could be underwater for extended time, and he found the main leak was behind my spa light. Included in that fee I mentioned is a patch job. They could not guarantee it (sometimes they give a 90-day guarantee), but it's been a few weeks and still holding! I asked the technician his thoughts on the longevity, and he said he's seen/heard of some patch jobs holding up for years. Still, they also provided me with an estimate for a more in-depth / permanent fix in the final paperwork, which was also full of great detail. They also told me that they clear slow pool/spa drains! We had a recent pool renovation, and I think there's a bunch of debris down the drains/pipes, so I plan to have them back out soon for that. I see some people didn't have a great experience, but I'm happy to report that I did. I was literally adding at least an hour of water to the pool every 48 hours before this fix. They got me on the schedule quickly and were very detailed. I loved that and would recommend them for your pool leaks and clogs.

moved here 5 years ago...i thought we had a leak...did the bucket evaportion test..it was normal…read moreevaporation...good to go...bought a auto water refill device to keep the level at normal range...all was good for 4 years...recently i had to change the hose on the refill device..turned off the hose..next morning pool was down 5 inches!...the week before got a letter from hernando water company "you are using way more water than you neighbors"..sprinkler system overuse? nope...got a well...hmmmm...ok...must have a leak..read reviews..called leak wizard been around 60 yrs!...had a tech show up the next day..Austin, great guy completely explained the situation...did a sound test..then did an underwater dye test with a snuba compressor, mask and weight belt main drain...all good...pool light?...bingo! the dye was sucking thru that hole behind the light like a tornado..went back down sealed it up with 2 part epoxy... wham bam thank you ma'am! leak sealed.. problem solved in under 2 hours for a $329 fee...plus he gave me a bunch of tips for future pool resurfacing when we do a renovation someday. very happy with the results..fast service and i would highly recommend this company...yeah some reviews werent good...but sometimes you have to consider the source...2 sides to every story.. i usually go with a local company thats been around the LONGEST..because theres a reason for that.

We had been using Pinch a Penny, but they had raised their prices, and we weren't always happy with the service we received (unclear how often they backwashed, different pool people every time, some were NOT pet friendly and would require that we lock away our dog). I saw that someone on Nextdoor recommended South Tampa Pool Service, so I called up Ken. He came by that day to give me an estimate. He runs the business, and he does all the service. He loves animals. He uses reasonably eco-friendly products. And his prices definitely beat Pinch a Penny's. Sold. He has been cleaning my pool for about a month now. He told me the time that he can come, and he comes that time every week (although we usually don't interact, I just see his truck out in front of my house). He dropped by last week to tell me the water level was low, so he turned on my hose and asked me to turn it off in 45 minutes. I was happy that he was precise and helpful like that.
