We contacted the company to spray for spiders, roaches, etc. The young lady whom we spoke to was very nice, although she spelled our last name wrong lol but it's okay. The gentlemen who to service our house called approximately 10 minutes before our service time to let us know he was on his way, arrived promptly announced he was there and what he was going to be doing, it took him about 30-40 minutes to do our home inside and outside, his name was Andrew I believe. He was very courteous and respectful of our home and belongs, asked any questions we had and practiced proper safety precautions. I will definitely be calling them again once service is required! At the beginning of February 2019, the apartment complex where we live scheduled Mike's Swat Team to fog for German roaches. The "Swat Team," consisted one gentleman named Aaron. As far as I could see, he was the only technician who tackled this enormous task. He had our entire building to do! Our downstairs' neighbors had a severe roach infestation which spread like wildfire. Aaron was the epitome of professionalism and customer service. Even though his job entailed many apartments, he took his time to first spot spray, then pull out heavy appliances, checking to make sure proper preparation was made before then fogging. Other service techs are also very friendly, and offer suggestions regarding pest control that have really helped me. I even get phone call reminders from the office reminding me of upcoming visits. I am a manager of a big complex and have been working with Mike swat for 5 years. I have worked with a couple techs Frank and Aaron they are both amazing knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We use different companies for different reasons but I have switched everything dealing with pest control to Mike Swat because I know I can count on them. Brad from Mike's Swat Team was very knowledgeable and professional. After we found some mud tunnels around the house, Brad came out and gave us a quote for the job. I got quotes from 3 other companies as well. Not only did Mike's Swat Team come in with the lowest quote, Brad was the least pushy out of all the other companies to get the sale. He gave me the information, answered my questions and left. I ended up going with them for the job. They came out today. This company services our apartment complex. We have had to relocate to a nee apartment in the complex due to a bug infestation. They have sprayed the apartment several times and even fogged it and the bugs seem to enjoy it. We just moved into our new apartment and bugs started popping up again. I feel the apartment is getting taken advantage of because the whole building is infested, even with the routine "sprays". The apartment complex reviews all say the same thing...bug infestation. Mike's Swat Team has been servicing our house for several years now. The tech we have come to know is Chris J. and he's great. He is very professional, courteous, and best of all he knows we have a young child in our house so he goes the extra mile to knock softly upon his arrival just in case she is sleeping. That is very much appreciated. Although we elected not to spray inside, Chris took the time out to explain that they have an organic spray that is safe and can be used effectively in the house with pets and children. He also takes the time out to explain what technique he is using outside and how he plans to keep the critters away. It's hard to find great customer service these days, but Mike's Swat Team and Chris have been great and I'd highly recommend their service! read more

Failed to get rid of my bugs. Another pest control company has to come out. I'm not at all happy.

They used to be a good company, now they have gone by the wayside. Very rude and obnoxious over the phone, the boss/owner Michelle is clueless about the shenanigans of her employees. The lazy workers say they don't service a lot of areas but Michelle says that they do when you're lucky enough to talk to her. I would give them zero stars if I could. Great company we had a scorpion problem living alongside of the preserve. Our kids and myself were stung a couple of times each and 4 trips to the children's hospital and trust me that's the worst feeling in the world to feel helpless with your children. After we hired them and their courteous staff we only found a few each year and they were out side. I recommend them and I can sleep comfortably knowing that Mike took care of the problem. I live in an apartment complex that did all my building at once. Now I have had, I think his name is lou, in my home before and was always friendly and answered any questions I might have had. Last Wednesday he comes in and my apartment was read for a fogging. When I returned to my home I found the bottom of my box spring cut down the middle and ripped almost all the way off. Now I see the reason for it, but the fact that I was no even asked or at least TOLD about it was crazy. TO make matters worse this Employee just throw my mattress and box-spring to the ground almost knowing off my tv. That is what I came home to. Just a complete lack of care of others belongings. Then to add gasoline to the fire that was boiling in me. When this LOU person come up to explain for her carelessness he talked to me like I was beneath him and how dare I question what he did. He told me " you weren't F**king ready" then with a nice "F**k You" and a finger he left. I would advise to never let this person in your home!! As for the company, well if they hired someone like that then how good could they be. read more

I am currently in the middle of a bed bug treatment which consists of at least 3 treatments, 3 weeks apart. These treatments include a fog in which basically everything in the apartment has to be packed up and/or covered. All persons and pets have to be out of the apartment for 4 hours and upon return eveything must be cleaned (vacuumed, washed, mopped). The technician who came out to inspect for the bugs was ok, he wasn't polite but wasn't rude either. He was however, not at all helpful. He found bed bugs in my couch and showed them to me. Then informed me that there would be 3 treatments and began to leave. I asked him a few questions and he quickly responded and told me that I'll receive paperwork explaining everything. I did get this paperwork and it was extensive, but very repetative and not thourough enough.There are 2 types of treatments, fog and heavy spray. The preparation for the fog treatment is ridiculous and I had a few questions as the "prep sheet" is quite vague. When I called I received short answers and was again directed to the paperwork that I recieved. The first time I had my treatment they didn't arrive until 2:30 pm which meant I couldn't return into my apartment until at least 6:30 pm. Then I had to clean everything, after I just packed up my ENTIRE apartment. So I called to complain because they came so late. I was informed that the apartment complexes fall in random order and they will try to get to me earlier next time. The day before my next treatment I called to ask what time they would arrive. I was informed that they would come mid to late afternoon. They arrived at 1:00 pm and I was able to ask the technician some questions about the prior treatment. He was the only one who was courteous and polite throughout the entire process. I came home on the day of the second treatment to see what time I could go back inside, they are supposed to put a tag on the door. There was no tag on the door, so I called the office and found out that they did a heavy spray treatment, not a fog treatment. This was AWFUL because I had spent all morning preparing for a fog treatment which is A LOT of preparation. I probably could have saved myself 4 hours if I had known that they were only doing a heavy spray. In the paperwork that I received before the treatments began it was stated that after each treatment, the technician would leave a slip explaining what to do to prepare for the next service. I never received that slip and the paperwork also states that the typical treatment is fog, fog, then heavy spray. So I assumed that since there was no slip, the next service would be a fog, not a heavy spray. I have one more treatment and the entire process has been awful. I don't know how I got bed bugs to begin with but having a more compassionate and understanding pest control service would have really helped! read more

Terrible service and rudeness on the phone. I live in an apartment in North Scottsdale and have had a roach infestation since October, and they use Mike's for pest control. They came in 3 times to spray and once to bomb. I had to pack up my entire kitchen and cover everything for that. STILL have roaches and video and pictures to prove it. The technician told the apartment management that he saw no evidence of roaches when he came in- LIAR! I even left the dead ones I sprayed with RAID on the counters and floors. They came for the FOURTH time today and supposedly pulled out the appliances and sprayed, as I often see them coming out of my stove top, and again they said they saw no evidence (there are dead roaches all over in my empty cupboards). The woman on the phone said they must be sewer roaches, but they were not and now I get to go home to the infestation and deal with the apartment management, which is a whole other issue...... read more
