I called about being over charged for services they didn't do, next the technician that came out without any notice to spray as he kept filling his backpack with water from my hose then using it & refilling it. I was told I would get a call back. When they text you about an upcoming appointment, they give you a date and then you must call for a the 3 hour window time like the cable company . When that time came and went and no one had showed up nor did I hear from them, I started trying g to contact them. No luck. About a half hour after a text message I sent regarding my appointment, I received an excusatory text saying 'they forgot to schedule with the inspector'. I had already taken half the day off from work for the alleged appointment. They suggested coming by the next day. And what, am I supposed to hope they DID in fact schedule it and take more time off from work? I suggested the following Saturday, but didn't heat back. OH MAN! Arizona people, you're so lucky that you have this pest company as an option to work with. I live in Los Angeles, and unfortunately could NOT get their services (being so far away) but I can tell that they do truly care about their customers. I spoke with their representative Elvis who spent some time to help me navigate my options for pest control alternatives to harsh chemicals. Even though he knew that he could not service our building in LA, he took the time and was thorough and detailed with his advice. Choosing Green Home was easy as they were my first call and Elivis, understanding my sense humor when I said I would burn my home down if another critter got in, not only laughed at my joke, but was professional, patient and informative without being "salesy" or using "scare tactics" like you would expect when these types of businesses want to up sale you. Within 20 mins, Brandon was at home and completed the job in under 45 mins. He too was respectful and even shared his worst horror story with us giving us the chills (and a good laugh). Like others, I found this company through Living Social. The deal was pretty good. The treatment they do is pretty standard. They all seem to use the same chemicals and techniques. You can sign up for a program of regular treatments and receive some discount, or just call when you want and pay full price. We are on a "program". Their office staff and technicians are friendly and efficient. They can just show up and do the outside and you don't have to be there, but I prefer to be there so I can point out trouble areas (e.g. ant mounds). If you have a larger yard the technician may not find them on his own. I have been satisfied with the service thus far. read more

IF YOU HAVE A FLAT ROOF DON'T EVEN BOTHER. At the beginning our experience with them was great. After $1200 and one year of them setting traps, cutting panels in illogical places and sealing the rats in my roof our rat problem has not been worse. They obviously no longer wanted to work with us when they deactivated our account without having the decency to tell us they us that they can't help. They say their work has a warranty on exclusions but quickly terminated the relationship so they don't have to follow up. They frequently sent the technician to my home without the necessary tools, even when asked to bring them. If you're issue is simple, they are probably great but other wise you may want to find another company. read more

Refused to guarantee their work from the Groupon despite still seeing pests less than 2 weeks after their initial spray. Upon contacting the company, they told me they "do not guarantee" their Groupon sprays, and largely use them in order to attract suckers (er, sorry, "customers") to their much more costly bi-monthly service. EDIT: The owner, Jon, contacted me directly within hours of this review going up -- apparently there was some miscommunication and they DO guarantee their Groupon work, which is great -- I am scheduled for a respray very soon. I am temporarily changing this review to a 3-star, and will amend it further based upon what happens during their second visit. However, I am already impressed at how Jon explained the situation personally over the phone, and I look forward to seeing how they correct the ant problem I'm facing. EDIT 2: My problem was handled, and my ant problem went away. HOWEVER, even the technician expressed some surprise that they were coming back for a second spray without me having to pay, even in spite of the fact that the issue was not resolved on the first visit. (This is a little telling.) I'm still considering Green Home for a bi-monthly service in the future, but it's concerning that both employees (but not the owner) expressed similar sentiments about resprays for persistent problems not being a normal part of their guarantee. Still, I have nothing but respect and admiration for how the owner Jon handled my problem, and I have no doubt that any future problem I may encounter will be handled quickly and efficiently as well. These guys are scam artists. Let's start from the beginning. We started getting an unusual amount of beetles on our back porch. We called around and decided on Green Home. On initial visit Philip came over and looked like he was tunneling to the center of the earth. He had goggles and a mask we couldn't even recognize him. He talked to my wife for 45 minutes about bugs and how he was an expert and he will wipe them out after spraying whatever he had in his tanks. After the bs car salesman talk he sprayed in our bathroom and entry points coming into the house and the back porch. The actual spraying took less than 5 minutes total. Day after he left the bugs quadrupled. We called the office and the dispatcher said it's normal the first week after initial visit and they should decrease. A month later on the next visit it was totally infested that we could not even go into our backyard and every time someone came inside any of our doors the bugs would be on their hair or clothes. 4th of July came and a family member suggested we try raid. We did and every single one of the bugs died and we had a significant decrease in the bugs. I am convinced they sprayed some type of pheromones to attract the bugs not make them go away so we have to keep paying them $50 every month. These guys are scam artists and still trying to collect $250 for one month of bug hell because of them. If Philip comes to your house don't open the door and definitely don't let him spray anything. read more

I've signed up and used this service for the past year and few months owner or manager very nice and customer friendly but there is a scheduler you g female that schedules appointments I called on 8/17/21 to ask if I can get an extra treatment scheduled for next month now as we were having infestation issue of cockroaches and scorpions she flat out refused to schedule and asked me to call back next month?!?! I insisted that the owners had assured us that if we needed a retreatment or extra treatment to just call and schedule it. I asked to speak to her manager she said there's no one there and that she's the scheduler and it goes thru her. I was so upset that she is a) treating an existing customer with such disrespect b) was not willing to resolve the issue or bring in a superior to talk to me about told her I would take my business elsewhere she said "fine" I hope the owners of this business realize that this person young female working on 8/17/21 as a scheduler is loosing customers for you with her attitude. Very disappointing An update to this issue owners and manager reached out and apologized as I was told that is not their policy the scheduler was wrong I felt that the only way I could reach the owners was Thru a review as I was being blocked by her to talk to supervisors or manager. We have used them for a while now. I have found that at least 2 times we have had them back because the ants or little bugs in back yard show up again within a week or 2. Two times now they have not shown up for appts. They said they send us a text but we do not text. I made sure they know that now. We have them come every two months and have not had a problem with them trying to charge us every month like some people have. The office help has always been friendly but one worker came out and apparently we had a misunderstanding because he left after doing just the back yard. He came back but refused to answer me when I talked to him. He is not going to service our house anymore. Overall the staff are friendly but the spray seems weak. read more

First go with these guys didn't go well for me. But the company reached out and came back out and tried again. So far so good. A few ants still outside by where our back gate, but as days go by they are getting less and less noticeable. No ants in the house. The tech said give it a day to kill the ants inside, but by the end of the day their were no more ants inside. Still have ants out back on the patio, but we had big black ants and the little ants and the big ones are gone. But seeing the results with the big ants give me confidence to wait it out until the regular service. Also, not sure of its direct result of the ant treatment but the spiders on the patio are gone, even our wood stack out back is spider free. I will give four stars but I can't give a five because I feel like this should have been the results the first time. I will continue the regular service although the results have been satisfactory, not great, the treatment they use is safe around my child, my dog, and our vegetable garden. And who knows, maybe in six months after two regular services all the bugs will be gone. read more

Their product is green friendly, no overbearing odors, safe, & still takes care of the problem. The technicians have always been super friendly, knowledgeable, & also understanding if your garage is a mess! We just recently had a visit from Brendan, he was awesome! Great with the dogs, made sure the gate was secure for them, going in and out. He was courteous, friendly, great sense of humor. He found the source of our cricket problem immediately.
