They are not local for me (I'm in CT, they're in MI) but that doesn't stop me from going back time and time again. Each time, they have been quick to respond, helpful with suggestions and kept me abreast of the progress with my pieces. Paul, the manager, was wearing a #plantgeek shirt and helped me piece together a plan for my patio, pulling together a mix of grasses and herbs/veggies to get me started on my horticultural adventure. He was spirited and lively and had no shortage of 'thyme' to answer all my questions and help me with my selections. I live in Ann Arbor, so I'm a WAYS away from home, but this place will be my 'go to' landscape/nursery supplier whenever I'm up this way.

I had to actually drive to the store only to be given the run-around again. We'll be taking legal action shortly. I ordered a couch from Jugo on April 7, 2013. I spoke with Georg, the owner, the next day and he confirmed the item was in stock and that it would ship within 10 days. Over the course of the next several weeks I was given several expected arrival dates by Georg but the couch never showed up. After a long and frustrating experience trying to track it down, I finally moved to cancel my order on May 8. I was told I would receive a refund within 2 business days. 1 week later, I still had not received a refund. I was told by Georg that it was just processed and would be available within 2 more business days. It is now May 23 and I have still not received a reimbursement nor have I received any further communication from Georg. Working with Jugo has been one of the worst consumer experiences of my life. I ended up having to file a complaint with the BBB in order to get refunded. I have email documentation of this entire terrible experience. It is unfortunate that people like Jugo take advantage of consumers. They owe my over $2K.

My daughter and I found the log set we wanted on display which really helps when deciding. They had the propane burner in stock, other stores required you to order one. I just installed the set today and it is beautiful, very well engineerd with great instructions, Frye offers a great selection and a great product. The price was good, less than Amazon and this is not a product you want to blindly order online. You need technical help like provided by Shores. You want to be able to be sure you are buying what you had in mind for a log set. I highly recommend Shores Fireplace, Lake Orion.

Made sure he never came back. Workmanship horrible, owners tells you can use more of "brown" fieldstone instead workers used more gray. Workers did not listen to customer. Never cleaned up, so I could my kitchen. Bricks crooked, mantel crooked on one of the sides, when pointing to owner "he said floor wasnt even"ordered incorrect insert logs,the grout or should a say cement is crumbling at the bases/hearth. The other side of FP with a new mantel was taken down 2'xs because of excessive gaps. One worker had to be on one side working and couldnt "touch" the other side of FP of a worker who never showed up.Owner is a "smooth" talker- increased pricing didnt change invoice. Then when it was time to light up the FP, it didn't work! One guy couldnt figure out the problem, then owner came out several times and finally took part of FP apart, found that they didnt build it correctly, workerss forgot to install a baffle inside the exhaust. They never pulled permits with city, remove a gas shut off valve, when house was built, said we didnt need it anymore. What! It took over 3 months to complet the project, neighbors even ask why took so long!
