Love me some Mila Coffee! While visiting San Antonio, Texas, I decided to stop at Mila Coffee and get their Mexican vanilla latte... It's a smooth blend of Mexican vanilla steamed with milk and a touch a cinnamon. This coffee was so enjoyable to drink. In addition, I purchased a bacon, egg and cheese taco. Of course the taco was made with a homemade tortilla...pretty standard fare in San Antonio. Totally miss homemade tortilla... My server and the barista were super personable and helpful. I've passed Mila coffee a few times and each time it has smelled yummy! I finally made it a point a friend to get coffee. Their menu is simple, which I appreciate. The staff was friendly. I got their cold brew and it was yummy. I like coffee and most times vendor coffees are always to sweet and I rarely taste the coffee. Mila's cold brew coffee was good! Flavorful. Located next to makeready market and Idle beer. This stand alone coffee shop has a little bit for everyone. They are quick, so you won't have to wait too long. I stopped by and got the iced Horchata. They add a shot of espresso in it. it wasn't overly sweet. The guy at the register was friendly. Parking is street parking. If you want to sit down and enjoy your coffee outdoors, you can definitely do so as there are some tables and chairs available. Since it is an outside coffee shop, it is dog friendly. read more

I decided to do an updated review because of their new location at Make Ready Market. I once again had the Mexican Vanilla Latte (iced and with oat milk) and was blown away. The espresso and vanilla were perfectly balanced. This drink had the right amount of sweetness for me. Mila Coffee has truly mastered this popular drink. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I love Mila coffee! Two locations, but I live near the walk up location. There might be a line but the wait is never long. The service is always friendly and the coffee is reasonably priced and delicious! For reference I paid just over $7 for a 24oz iced Dirty Chai latte with almond milk ($2 tip included) Totally worth it, add this location to your list of coffee spots to visit! read more

We stopped at this little food truck area just to try Mila's coffee. The two guys inside the truck were extremely nice and knowledgeable. I ordered my coffee based upon their recommendation and it was extremely good. I will definitely be going back , no complaints here. If you're in the area off Broadway, I highly recommend stopping in and getting yourself a nice coffee. I want to mention that the barista was extremely handsome , jet black hair, dark eyes. My husband and I stumbled upon this little coffee stand when we stopped by the Make Ready Market to have lunch. We decided to eat outside since we had our cat with us and pets aren't allowed inside. I watched the little coffee stand my entire meal. It is a very popular spot and the service was quick! Even with multiple people ordering, there was never a long wait. After a full meal, I decided I wanted a little iced drink. I decided to get my usual iced chai tea latte. My drink was made in less than a minute. Pricing was reasonable. My chai tea latte was delicious, but I've had better. I would definitely stop by again, if we lived near the area. read more

Such a cute adorable little coffee shop! I was across the street getting tacos at Pete's and I had to stop by for an iced coffee. This place is a cute little building where you walk up and order from their window. They had so many options, that seemed delicious. I opted for the iced caramel latte, and my husband got a cold brew with their Mexican vanilla. We loved our drinks. So yummy, strong, and creamy!! Mila had been one of my mom and I's favorites for years before I moved out of San Antonio. Since returning a few months ago, I've visited the original coffee truck location a few times with my mom. It's been just as good as I remembered, but what really impressed me is the fact that the owner remembered our order as soon as we walked up to the window. This is one of the most popular spots in the city that now also has a second location, yet he still remembered our order. Give them a visit if you haven't already. Stopping at Mila is one of the highlights of a normal Friday for me. The coffee is good and the vibes are just right. Service is mostly quick, if there's not a line. Hands down best coffee truck in Say-Town! I love finding excuses to stop by here for their espresso, cortado, or cappuccino. Simply the smoothest, strongest, and fastest prepared caffeinated beverage around. So good and very tough to beat these coffee beans! The staff is super nice, payment is fast, and oftentimes if you see a line queuing up its not a problem...it moves fast! Tip: Make sure to park across the street from the Broadway News for your parking, as it is typically not allowed in the parking lot next door to the Mila Coffee Truck. read more

I couldn't really taste the blueberries or raspberries all too well, but the sweetness of them prevented the drink from being too acidic in flavor from all of the orange. For the Matcha Latte, it was also difficult to clearly taste the flavors, let alone the matcha at all. It was on the more bitter side, but it was a smooth drink at the very least. While the establishment and service get 5 stars, the drinks only get 3. It's definitely one of those places where I wish the drinks lived up to the atmosphere so I'd be more inclined to visit again, but I'd honestly be alright skipping over another visit to this café.

Overall, bad experience and won't be coming back to wait almost half an hour on $7 watered down beet juice.

Summer Moon Coffee is great and this location is no exception. They specialize in sweeter, calorically dense, caffeinated beverages, with their signature Moon Milk being a stand out and my usual go to. They offer varying levels of sweetness, so everyone has the opportunity to dial in the beverage to their liking. They offer all the traditional coffee house staples as well, but I haven't personally tried any of those and can't speak to their quality. Prices are comparable to other coffee chains in the area. Ambient noise level inside the cafe was low and would be a well suited location to get some work done or study, several patrons seemed to be doing so. They offer WiFi, and the Verizon 5G signal was very strong inside. This location is a part of the Tripoint complex, shared with the D.R. Semmes Family YMCA and Trinity Baptist Church. Definitely worth stopping by for your caffeine fix after a workout if you're already in the area, but probably not a location I would come to for just the coffee. Things worth knowing ahead of time: They offer a drive through in you're in a hurry or stopping by on your way to work. Their restrooms are located just outside of the cafe area and shared by the church they share the building with.

As I said, everything was phenomenal. Unfortunately, there is one issue we cannot look past, although we have tried. The bagels are delicious, but they are the absolute wettest, slippery and slidey-est bagels I've ever had in my life. The meal is spent looking down and hoping my beloved or other guests don't see the schmear up to my nose. By the end, we are having to reconstruct our bagel, as it looks like roadkill on the table. It is not a user error, as we eat slowly and carefully. I even have friends who refuse to come back here because it was the messiest eating experience of their lives. It's so unbelievably messy. We have to rinse off in their bathroom before leaving. I have to take my rings off and put my hair up. It's a commitment, one we are not strong enough to make at this point. Delicious, but.... we must bid you farewell, Boss Bagel. Godspeed.

All the proteins were cooked perfectly. The real winner was the lemongrass Banh mi with once again perfectly proportioned ingredients. We also ordered the fresh spring roll, which never came but wasn't missed except that they did try to charge us for but did remove them. They definitely have some work to make this a comfortable dining experience but I wouldn't let it stop you from trying some phenomenal Vietnamese food.
