First visit. The ladies were incredibly welcoming. Very helpful, friendly & fun to talk with while I chose what I wanted, (I was the only one there at the time. I'm not that person!) They also have monthly specials. I don't live near them, but I'll be back for sure. Customer service alone, I'll return. But the drink I asked them for their current favorite & I wanted to try both. But went with the Grinch special. They hand you the menu for the special drinks. I look forward to returning & trying more of their products. Stopped by on a Sunday early afternoon and the line wasn't too long. It is just a drive through unassuming little trailer but so good! There was an employee out in the line taking orders and they have several menus posted so you could decide what you wanted while waiting in line. There were so many options for drinks and flavors and their syrups are homemade. There was also a fall seasonal menu and the employee gave recommendations. We enjoyed the oatmeal cookie off the permanent menu and the cinnamon apple off the seasonal. We also got muffin tops which although prepackage were extremely moist and tasty and a great size. 4.7 stars I finally carved out time on 12.28.23 to try the Cajun Coffee Shack. It's about a 20min ride from my house, so not super convenient when compared to my beloved Summer Moon Cafe. That said, I'm glad I did. It was easy to see the sign from the road for the shack, but I didn't see it in time to safely turn on my turn signal and cross over. Typically, you can order from both sides of the shack, but one side/lane was cordoned off when I arrived. There are 6 basic coffee/espresso drinks, 9 speciality coffee drinks, 8 non-coffee drinks, 8 blended frappacino-type drinks and 5 kid drinks. But there are a ton of flavored syrups, including sugar free syrups, to create your own concoction. Their bakery items come from a bakery in Seattle, where the owners are from. The barista at the window was friendly. For those curious, the "teddy Bear" drink on the kids menu is just a teddy bear shaped cup. You can put a flavored milk in there. I ordered a large iced creme brûlée latte and was super surprised at how large it was. A whole heaping 32oz! Now to be fair, if I looked more closely at the menu, Id have seen it was 32oz and not the standard 20 or 24oz at most coffee shops. I was good and caffeinated for the rest of the day. I got my girls small Oreo frappes, which are coffee free. I ordered a few bakery items for us to try. The breakfast sandwiches are actually bagel sandwiches so we grabbed two sausage, egg and cheese bagel sandwiches. I also ordered a jalapeño kolache and apple maple muffin top. My (now) 7 y/o, surprisingly, liked the bagel sandwich. She NEVER likes bagels, let along bagel sandwiches. I liked the muffin top! The jalapeño kolache is actually a basic kolache with a jalapeño sausage. Thanks to previous Yelp reviews that said it was to chewy or doughy, I popped it into my air fryer for a few minutes before eating it. Much better. I took away a partial star because I had to ask for a drink carrier, even though I ordered 3 drinks and it was just me holding everything. read more

My partner and I have always loved this shack, today's experience on Easter Sunday was not great, we had Abigail G as our server the girl with red colored hair, we came happily and made convo needing some help so we asked "hey what's something you'd reccomened that is super sweet" and from there we could hear annoyance from the girl, tone and she just said there's a lot of things that are sweet. So then we tried to help her out a little more as to what we were looking for still upbeat, and clarified that for the drink we were looking for something that did not taste like coffee and was not strong at all, she tells us the crème brulee, so we said yes to that one! look to make a long story short homegirl did not know the menu too well because based on the drink I got myself which was the mocha granita which is perfectly sweet and more like a dessert than coffee as its reminiscent of chocolate milk , (not the one we were asking for help on for my partner who doesn't like strong tasting coffee drinks) and based on something like the vanilla bean frappe I just think either she didn't know the menu or just was not in the mood to recommend anything and was trying to be quick about things; the crème brûlée coffee tasted like everything we were trying to avoid :( And to stop complaining ahaha it was also just pricey as the prices have for sure gone up, we ordered smalls and were charged for mediums: we did recieve mediums thankfully but it was more than we wanted and an extra cost per drink of course, bummer, maybe just the new crew was the issue but the place itself is familiar and nostalgic for us. read more

There were maybe 3 cars in front of us (there are two lanes you can choose from), but someone came out to take our order while we were in line. A year or so ago I tried this place and didn't care for it. I posted a review and the owner responded and told me next two beverages on the house and to try them again. I never took him up on it but A YEAR OR SO LATER we tried again. I am glad we did! Their sugar free flavors are delicious and my favorite is brown sugar with caramel iced coffee.
