The newest Mila location at the Make Ready Market is brewing both fantastic coffee and phenomenal service. I was thrilled to see the quaint shop had a La Marzocco espresso machine... a good sign of high quality. So, I tried a hot double espresso. I was not disappointed. The African beans resulted in a bright, slightly floral espresso... delicious! Encouraged, I also had Mila's cold brew. Refreshing and smooth [chef's kiss]. The manager, Rob, was friendly, informative and managed the steady stream of customers while brewing solo. Great job! Highly recommend... cheers!

Mila Coffee is by far one of the best coffee shops in town! They opened a second location in the downtown area, which is located within the Make Ready Market Food Hall. This coffee shop is perfect for anyone that lives and/or works in this side of downtown, since the whole area is super walkable and it is very close to many office buildings. Their building is super cute and very easy to find. They also have plenty of outdoor seating available which is great to enjoy the "spring" weather. I also learned that they validate parking for 2 hours at a parking lot across from the Food Hall. Besides the great location, the coffee is always stellar. They have plenty of options available and the staff is always really nice and welcoming. Overall, they are a five-star local business and can't wait to come back again!

Mila Coffee is in an outpost in the Make Ready Market area. Great coffee and location. Efficient service. Plenty of outdoor seating in the Market area but seems more like a to-go spot.

I stopped by as I was riding through downtown and spotted a parking spot at the entrance. I immediately embraced the vibe as it's a coffee LOUNGE! Both of which I love. They offer traditional coffee drinks and appetizers. I'm n addition, they also offer beer, wine, pastries and cannabis options. In order my usual iced vanilla latte and also order a dandelion/chamomile tea. Service was fast and friendly, like I like it . And the coffee was great! I'll definitely be back when it n the downtown area. I can imagine stopping in more for coffee to accommodate a downtown stroll.

However, when it was finally served, it appeared completely clear, which left me a bit confused about the preparation process. I originally stopped in for the prerolls, but due to a recent ban or restriction, they were unavailable. Unfortunately, the cashier didn't seem very interested in suggesting alternative products or helping me find a comparable option. Overall, the experience didn't leave much of an impression. Between the average drinks, limited product availability, and lack of engagement from the staff, I don't see myself returning.

I placed an order and walked to the coffee shop, only to be informed that they were bought out and didn't even have my order or the right ingredients to make it. Instead of a refund, they offered to make me a regular coffee which I declined. I took a long walk just to go there to pay $12 for coffee that didn't exist and a coffee shop that doesn't exist as of 2 weeks ago! They need to take their ordering down and website if they won't fulfill your order. It's absolutely stealing my money!!!!! I tried emailing, calling and asking for a refund in person and I was denied. What a great way to treat someone visiting here!

I didn't end up getting anything as I found their coffee cup sizes to be small & I wanted something a little bit bigger. They didn't have many items for sale. Like 2 danishes on display, limited drinks in their cooler & the menu is small. If you're not a picky coffee drinker & aren't looking for a big food menu then this is your place! It wasn't very busy while my friend & I sat outside of the shop. There are seating areas in the coffee shop to hang out at.

Formerly a house, the interior of this cafe has a serene feel inside with comfortable seating. There is also seating on the front porch and a huge backyard patio deck. You order at the counter, which is right when you walk in the front door. Your order is brought to your table, wherever you may be sitting. On my first visit I had a croque monsieur, a deli ham and melted cheese sandwich with béchamel sauce between toasted bread. It was delicious and was served with potato chips. I also got a hot vanilla latte, served in a mug, which was absolute perfection. One thing I liked was the absence of laptop campers. I only spotted one on both of my visits. People come here to quietly socialize or just take a break from life for a few minutes. My second visit was mainly to get another one of those fantastic vanilla lattes but I also chose a chocolate croissant from their pastry case. The croissant, served on a nice dish, was fresh, flakey, and full of chocolate. I sat, relaxed, and felt like things didn't get much better than this.

However, parking was difficult and not very convenient. The coffee was good and smooth, but nothing that really stood out. It was solid quality, just not something I'd go out of my way for. One thing that surprised me was the price. My latte was listed at $7, but with all the extra charges for add-ons it quickly became $9+, which felt a bit pricey even coming from Chicago where coffee can already be expensive. What really affected the rating for me was the service speed. It was probably the slowest coffee service I've experienced. I waited about 15 minutes for two lattes, and there was only one other person ahead of me. For a simple order, that felt like a long time. Overall, it's a nice café with a clean, spacious atmosphere and decent coffee, but the pricing and slow service make it somewhere I'd visit occasionally rather than regularly.

Not all look appetizing tbh because they are huge and display only BUTTTTTT I ordered an ugly one lol and I wish I had gotten two! I ordered a banana chocolate caramel and peanut doughnut. It was HUGE! Big as my head The flavor and textures were nothingggggg like I've ever tasted. It wasn't heavy and cake like. It almost favored a croissant but with more depth. The banana flavor was not artificial either. I wish I could explain how it took me by surprise and I doubt I'll find another like it. I will say it's THE BEST doughnut I've ever had. My husband had an Oreo one and loved his as well. He's a doughnut guy and idk if he's ever had one he doesn't like. Mine was so good I didn't want to taste his and I always eat his food Thank you to the young lady working the counter for the sweet recommendation on what to order May 29, 2026

We ordered a dozen plus 4 regular -- and first off, our dozen box looked like it had been thrown together from across the room. The box was just throw together rather than lined up gently (and without any parchment between the heavy, icing-covered donuts!) so by the time we got where we were going they were all stuck together and sharing icing flavors. Every haphazard donut stuck to the next. Unappetizing, I assure you. Secondly, after all that, they didn't even give us our four extra even though we paid for them.
