I'll be honest I probably would have never visited the corner coffee if my friend hadn't invited me. It's such a small, hole in the wall cafe. I can now say that I would definitely go back. They do have a variety of options on their menu and at a great price. I ordered two of their special coffees La Canela Loca. They were really good with just the right amount of sweetness and I paid only $8! (For Both). The workers were so friendly and attentive. We talked a little about how the business started and how it's going. We sat outside on their little picnic tables they had. They also have a walk up window you can order from. read more

their cappuccinos are automatic machine made and when i asked for one made from their actual espresso machine , they made me a coffee with all the wrong ratios. cappuccino ratio is: Espresso: 25 milliliters (ml) Steamed milk: 85 ml Foam: 1 cm on top i was given a latte with too much milk. i think if you're te going to run a coffee shop you should know proper coffee measurements. the ambiance and service were both good. read more

Probably one of the worst coffees I've ever had not gonna lie. I ordered a cappuccino with vanilla syrup. There was no foam and no syrup. Tasted like it came out of a keurig and like cheap beans were used (like Folgers). We ordered that and my friend got an iced caramel macchiato, and it took about 15 minutes. To our knowledge, there was nobody else before us that should have made the wait that long. On top of that, they couldn't swipe my card for payment, only offered a chip insert (by square and it was cracked). Ended up using cash and they didn't even have enough change to give me. Definitely would not recommend. read more

Such a cute little hole in the wall coffee shop located deep in the heart of the Southside! I spotted this gem when I was leaving my Mother-in-law's house and had to check it out being the coffee lover that I am. I'm happy to report that I was not disappointed! Just like the name implies, it's located on a corner. The simple yet cute presentation on the outside is what drew my attention to this place. The giant Frapples on the building called out to me. I really like the fact that they have a walk up window in addition to the indoor cafe area. With Covid on the rise, it's best to play it safe. I used the walk up window to place my order. I decided to go with their signature drink, a La Canela Loca. It consists of milk, cinnamon & vanilla flavor, two shots of expresso, and cinnamon topping. It's practically a dessert coffee. You get the best of both worlds, the sweetness and that caffeine kick. Needless to say that I'm now definitely a fan of this yummy drink! I didn't try anything else but I certainly would like to try a Frapple once the weather warms up a bit. This will certainly be my go to stop for coffee when I'm in the area. The southside of San Antonio is a coffee house desert, but Corner Coffee and More is a refreshing oasis. They have a large drink menu with some fun specialties like the Canela Loca. (If you don't speak Spanish, Google it. You'll get the idea.) The ambiance is a little industrial but clean. In fact, they have a 100% health code rating. There's free Wi-Fi, and it's a good spot for working. Plenty of people bring their kids for the ice cream type drinks. It's very family friendly. Arriving I got out my vehicle and went to their "order here" window on the side where there was a woman in front of me waiting to order. I patiently waited as well after a good nearly 10 minutes she goes inside because we've had no help so I proceed to go inside of hopes being able to order coffee. Walking in the place is pretty cool looking but you kind of just feel the vibe is off. Super quiet, one worker... looks like she hated her job. Not sure if I just maybe caught them on a bad day. I also was over charged about $4 because she charged me for the wrong type of tacos which were delicious by the way I'll give that. We got two coffees their signature one is delicious however the menu special for this month was not it. This is just my experience. It's one thing to have a bad drink that could always be remade but the service was just a no go for me. I usually walk away if I feel like I'm not being helped. From the beginning she could've told me and the lady outside we could go inside instead of waiting in the sun to be approached. There was only one gentleman inside. The whole time their took a good 30 minutes. However I wanted to give a chance cause I understand we always don't have our best day. Next time I will be trusting my gut. read more

I pipped in on a Sunday to do some work. There was people standing within the sitting area conversing and so I didn't go sit within that area because they were pretty spread out. So I found a smaller table towards the wall and situated myself there. Not sure if that happens often but Im glad there was an open spot to work. I dont go to coffee shops often to just sit or work but this was a good experience. This is my second time getting the chai tea latte. Its delicious and flavorful. read more
