    Mango Matcha 10/10
    Aaron N.

I came here for the first time for the hot Matcha summer event put on by Yelp and I definitely think this is one of my go to spots for Matcha now! I had the mango Matcha, which was a specialty for the event and it was so delicious. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly with the seating area that has a giant bookshelf, which makes it feel very cozy. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of their menu items and bringing a book to read and relax.

This is such a cute place, it's so peaceful. I came in around 12:30PM on a Friday. There were a few people seated all over the coffee shop. They have plenty of seating options. Made for smaller gatherings of 2/3. But I came with colleagues and we were a group of 5. We have to pull two tables together. I was greeted by a friendly barista. I ordered the Toasted Coconut Latte made decaf. It was soo good, you can really taste the coconut flavor. I opted out for the cold foam due to being dairy-free. My drink was made quickly and was placed at the pick up station for me. I will come back to try more of their summer seasonal drinks

Cute vibe. Went to a book club meet here The owners are really cool and sweet. The matcha was OK. I should've got me a coffee instead. Will definitely go back to try one.

I visited Poetic Republic Coffee seeking a quiet space to collect my thoughts, plan, and organize my finances. It continues to be an ideal environment for focus and productivity - well worth the commute each time. Enjoyed a cortado on a beautiful breezy morning.

I was able to attend the Hot Matcha Summer event with my two bridesmaids. We had a great time and got to try 3/4 of their summer matcha menu and make a cute book charm pictured below. We had great recommendations from the baristas and we even got an extra matcha due to them have an extra.

I had the Choco banana matcha during the hot matcha summer event at poetic republic coffee. It was so delicious, I highly recommend it and it's a cute coffee place.

Ordered the Toasted Coconut Matcha during a Yelp Hot Matcha Summer event and omg...it was the most delicious matcha I've had! Definitely recommend! The location was a vibe- perfect for a yummy drink and a good book!

If you are looking for a cute coffee shop and love poem this place is your spot! When arriving you are greeted with a warm welcome and since I was new to the spot they explained to me what their specials were. My boyfriend ordered the Down to Earth as I got The Optimistic. Although they were both yummy the Optimistic was my fav! I would definitely be going again

Such a cute little coffee shop. Friend and fast service. Love the decor and warm welcome. Had an iced latte and it was pretty good.

The service is impeccable and attentive. The cafe is cute and quaint. I love the vide. The pistachio lemon bar is absolutely amazing and must try! They have good amount of street parking and a lot across the street. They have a decent amount of indoor seating as well.

Came here to do some work. It's hard to find a cute coffee shop on the southside but this is closer to downtown so I guess it was a compromise. The location itself is along Presa and parking can be an issue but I came when it wasn't too packed so I found a spot up front. Hope you know how to parallel park The space is a vibe itself. There's plenty of tables to sit and don't worry, if you're trying to get work done there is plenty of outlets!! If you'd like a quiet space, this ain't the place for you. Their music is a bit loud IMO but just bring your AirPods and you'll be good. Unless you have a meeting, this ain't the place for you. Now onto the coffee....if that's why you're reading I can't help you there. Coffee is coffee - it was good! I got the brown sugar cinnamon latte. I liked it! Hope this helps!

I wish this magical coffee shop had more operational hours, because coming at 7pm on the quiet street for Silent Book Club was truly a wonderful experience. This year is the first year I have actually tried reading poetry and to go to Poetic Republic was a beautiful end cap to that. My latte was excellent. The ambiance is so cozy and service was great. Highly recommend!

Nothing I Can't Handle Coffee (abbreviated to NICH Coffee, not to be confused with Niche Coffee, which recently closed) is next to a pottery class in a hip side of S Presa. The shop is small but cozy, with a smattering of outdoor seats to compensate for the scant seating inside (though no less cozy, I really enjoyed my cushy window seat). I ordered a pistachio lemon bar, a cortado, and asked for a recommendation for a second drink. Angela, who took my order, said the South-EE is their most popular beverage, so I opted for that, hot. The lemon bar was very sweet with a puckering tartness in the frosting, but it paired beautifully with my cortado. The cortado was a little foamy but the flavor was robust and comforting, like being hugged by a lumberjack. The South-EE (espresso, brown sugar, cinnamon) - it took everything in me to not immediately chug this down. It was the perfect temperature by the time I was ready to drink it, and it was overall a yummy treat. The two staff holding down the fort that day were incredibly nice. Good folks, great drinks. I'll be coming back.

Plenty of comfy seating with a variety of house plants to buy if you feel like some new zen for your home. The Vegetarian Quiche was absolutely savory and the pastry was flaky and buttery. Definitely would visit again when in the neighborhood.

However, parking was difficult and not very convenient. The coffee was good and smooth, but nothing that really stood out. It was solid quality, just not something I'd go out of my way for. One thing that surprised me was the price. My latte was listed at $7, but with all the extra charges for add-ons it quickly became $9+, which felt a bit pricey even coming from Chicago where coffee can already be expensive. What really affected the rating for me was the service speed. It was probably the slowest coffee service I've experienced. I waited about 15 minutes for two lattes, and there was only one other person ahead of me. For a simple order, that felt like a long time. Overall, it's a nice café with a clean, spacious atmosphere and decent coffee, but the pricing and slow service make it somewhere I'd visit occasionally rather than regularly.

You order at the counter, which is right when you walk in the front door. Your order is brought to your table, wherever you may be sitting. On my first visit I had a croque monsieur, a deli ham and melted cheese sandwich with béchamel sauce between toasted bread. It was delicious and was served with potato chips. I also got a hot vanilla latte, served in a mug, which was absolute perfection. One thing I liked was the absence of laptop campers. I only spotted one on both of my visits. People come here to quietly socialize or just take a break from life for a few minutes. My second visit was mainly to get another one of those fantastic vanilla lattes but I also chose a chocolate croissant from their pastry case. The croissant, served on a nice dish, was fresh, flakey, and full of chocolate. I sat, relaxed, and felt like things didn't get much better than this.
