This is my favorite place for a glass of wine. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is cozy.

I don't like being ripped off! I've had gyro's from here in the past and they're quite tasty. On…read moreMonday's they offer them for $5. So I called to place an order for pickup, 2 with double meat for me and 1 regular. It doesn't even occur to me until I get home and look at the receipt I was ripped off. The woman on the phone or the guy who rang me up either one could have mentioned something but WHY WOULD I PAY MORE FOR JUST DOUBLE MEAT THAN AN ACTUAL GYRO!? For one the double meat used to be like $2 but why on earth would someone just want to pay more for double meat when they could just buy another one and clean out the wrap into the other!? Shady business practice for sure...

The Gyro salad is also amazing. In fact, I have never been disappointed in anything prepared here. The selection of baked goods is amazing. The wine selection is also outstanding. ( Now for the other side of the story). Going back to the time when I was born (in Ireland, but this story began in another part of Europe) In the 1950's outside of Athens, Greece when a family traveled from there to the United States in search of a better life. The mother found comfort in a foreign land while working as a baker, hand-making the recipes she brought with her. She passed these recipes on, with love. Another begins in the 1980's on the Italian island of Sardinia when a young man in the U.S. Navy, met a local girl & brought her back to the United States to raise their family. She keeps in touch with her family & her homeland by importing the food products she grew up loving. Their stories eventually intertwine through a marriage. They bring these tastes of the Mediterranean & tlove of these foods to our community on the north coast of Lake Erie. Join in the experience!

For those who need a wheelchair entrance- they had one setup in the front. The portions of food are generous! The staff is super kind. And, it has a very intimate vibe to it. There were musicians playing in the entryway when we stopped in. The cheese board and wine could have filled me up by itself. But, I also ordered a flatbread. I was amazed when 2 generously sized flatbreads came out. 10/10, definitely recommend.

They have a large selection of house wines as well as other brands. The server was kind but didn't seem very knowledgeable about the wine. All the dishes are enormous and meant to be shared. We shared the goat cheese with blackberry preserves and a Genoa flatbread and even with the three of us, we had a lot to take home with us. The duo and the flatbread were both incredible. The flatbread is actually two whole flatbreads and the dip was the size of a dinner plate. They were kind to get us an extra loaf of bread to go with the dip because we ran out. Their kitchen closed at 8 even though they were open until 9. That was about annoying because we considered ordering an additional dish but worked out fine since the dishes were so large.
