What an amazing place! The ambiance, the quality of the fish board, the scallops, and the dessert were all just delicious and top quality. Josh and his wife know what they are doing! This place is a perfect date night spot! Josh's knowledge of everything we had was top notch. He was very attentive to what we requested.

I've been meaning to try this place for a few years and I'm so disappointed in myself for not getting there sooner. It is wonderful. Highly recommend reservations. The ambience was great, the service was wonderful, the food was even better. The wine selection is reasonable in terms of quality and price. We had sangria's that were fresh made and delicious. We started with the lobster bisque soup and also got scallops with lobster, an upgrade suggested by James, as well as the special menu item lobster roll with fries and truffle aïoli. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and while this place is small, hence the reservation recommendation, don't let it fool you, this place is amazing. They do have a tent outback with additional tables that has heat and a fan, and I imagine that it will be reasonably comfortable during the summer as well. We will definitely be returning to the wine vault.

Visited here for the first time last night. Beautiful bar with a great outdoor patio. We were immediately greeted and felt very welcomed. The menu is fantastic and creative. Our server was attentive and made great recommendations. We started with the fish charcuterie board which included salmon, ahi, and oysters. My husband had the short rib burger and I ordered the beet and arugula salad. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. Can't wait for our next visit!

Like Chez, you need to make reservations in advanced as far as possible online. We just had a quick cocktail, but know that it's no easy feat to choose from their beautiful and expansive menu! At the suggestion of our wonderful server, I had the cucumber moscow mule, which was so delightful and refreshing on a hot day. Come later in the evening on a weekday and you'll have the opportunity to sit outside on the riverfront. If you're like me and still not dining out aside from a patio visit here and there during a less busy time, you can feel good about visiting here outside. Touché's outdoor patio has a lovely ambiance, only increased by the charm of the city of Vermilion and the channel leading onto Lake Erie. Bring a friend, a date or a special occasion. You'll still want to be dressed up and make those reservations as far as you possibly can. We only had a quick drink, but I'll be back to try the food!

The ratio was way off. Bisque was the best thing I had. The French onion was ok. The meatloaf I had was fair. It had too much filler and it lacked that, unctuous mess I was looking for. Overall, it was just ok. Table and view were great, but the lack luster meal killed the night. Our expectations got the best of us.

We enjoyed the view of the boats on the water and the fact that you still dress up outside but not to the level that is required for inside dining. Understandably, my husband didn't love the idea of needing to wear a jacket in 90+ degree heat so it is nice they offer the outside seating option that features the same menu. That said, we were seated at a nice table outside and we had great service the whole evening. It was my birthday and they printed out special menus labeled for my birthday and included a card which the whole staff signed - a very nice touch! Onto the food. We received an amuse bouche with chickpeas and foam which was nice but nothing special, taste wise. We ordered soups to start - the French onion and corn chowder with scallop. Both were incredible! I will be dreaming about that corn chowder...so tasty. Next we were brought salads. My husband added goat cheese to his and it was a comically small portion for the $3 upcharge. For entrees, we chose the seabass and the hogfish special. For $68 each, we both expected more. The seabass tasted fishy (we have both had seabass many times and it has never tasted this way) and the peach glaze on the hogfish was too sweet for my liking and took away from the flavor of the fish. It wasn't bad, but not what I was hoping for after it was talked up a lot by the staff. We were offered dessert menu but we were quite full and after seeing that each option was $20, it was an easy pass. They did bring us two small mousse cups on the house for my birthday though, which was a nice surprise. All in all we enjoyed our evening. The ambiance was good, the service was great, and the food was mostly good just not up to the caliber of the high price tag, in our opinions. And they charge a credit card fee so that was an unwelcome surprise. I think we would go back but just for the views and the soup. And we would pay cash next time :) Thank you for the nice birthday evening, Chez Francois!

The tasting options allowed you to either choose a flight or pay $1.50 per tasting, and we opted for the latter. While their selection of dry reds was limited, the Adonia Berry caught my attention. A medium dry wine, it tasted like biting into a peanut butter and jelly sandwich--absolutely delicious. We couldn't resist walking away with two bottles of the Retriever Red Apple Blend. With our daughter @morganmmiller being a golden retriever lover, we knew she'd appreciate the bottle just as much as we did. Overall, it was a wonderful experience at this winery. One sweet, which I don't care for sweet wines, the second, which I chose was lacking flavor. No body to the wine. Very disappointing. My wife tried 2 whites, she didn't care for either. They did not have a chardonnay or anything close. The traditional cheese tray was obviously pre- cubed cheeses, some plain soda crackers and a half a peach. I asked about getting a half order or the "gourmet " cheese tray but the server said they don't offer it because everything is pre-proportioned, which leads me to believe it's from Costco or the like. All in all pretty disappointing. Ww love stopping at wineries but unless friends want to go, ill avoid this one. We have frequented the orchard store for decades but even that has gotten so expensive we have cut back.

There were 8 of us. And 1 was a 2 yr old. The good. They have a good amount of choices to drink. Their wine, guest wine, and a full bar. So lots of choices. We tried the summer blush. It has strawberries and peaches. It was good. I enjoyed it. We bought a bottle for $25. Orders lunch. I got the Korean cauliflower appetizer. It was pretty small. Giant piece of leaf lettuce in it. And the ranch dressing was also inside of it. Not a ton of the cauliflower. Kinda disappointing to be honest. I ate it. I liked it. But not sure how it is supposed to be shared by a table with not a lot of food. Disappointing. My partner got the portobello sandwich. She said it was very sloppy and just OK. So food is kinda pricey and not really worth it. This is a nice winery. Plenty of choices to drink. Lots of space inside and outside to sit and drink and hang out. Wine is OK. Food in my opinion is pricey and not as good as it should be for the price. Staff was nice. Plenty of parking. This almost feels too touristy and just a money grab. Just my opinion. Probably skip next time I'm in the area. Try something else.
