We came here on a weekend at about 6pm because I wanted to order a pizza to eat there. There was one person sitting outside at a table eating his pizza. We walked inside. There were two people inside the store eating their pizza, and it looked like they just started eating. I walked up to the counter and the employee looked at me and said, "We're closed." I asked, "What time did you close?" He said, "We're closed." I was really confused, because the listed business hours said that they're open much later than 6pm. Also, when businesses are closed, they usually lock the doors so that no one can enter. The pizza was great, the customer service was TRAGIC. I was met with some attitude for basic questions at the register. Didn't think much of it, sat and checked Yelp while waiting for my order to see that rude customer service here dates back at least 16-17 years, wow! While I was waiting, the cashier and another man in the back began raising their voices unprofessionally at each other over what the "S" on my ticket stood for- spinach or sausage, because of how they handle others' mistakes. The cashier took a phone call and raised his voice saying "I'LL TAKE YOUR ORDER WHEN YOU FINISH YOUR OTHER CONVERSATION" and though I know that must've been frustrating, there was probably a better way to deescalate. Absolutely never ordering from here, ever. We have seen a lot of posts about people trying to save this restaurant. We called to order dinner tonight and one of the items on the menu is no longer available. The person on the phone was rude about that, it is not our fault that the menu is incorrect. Then when we asked what the other options for that particular meal the response was "check the website" which we couldn't do because we were on the phone with the restaurant. We were told we should have looked at the website, which we had. Uncalled for rudeness, especially when we were trying to help. We will order from their competition instead. read more

I would give this place zero stars but I can't. It's my first time learning of this place so my boyfriend and I decide to give this place a try for dinner. The staff were rude over the phone when I asked about their specials. And when I walked in to order the old man at the front said they were closed. I live literally across the street from Milano. 7 min walking distance. So it was odd that when I called their special was a large one topping for $7.04; however, upon walking in they were closed. Google has their closing hours listed as 9:30pm and I walked in and attempted to order at 7:00pm! Not sure if that's an error on Google, if so, they should update their hours. What was delivered to us was a DELICIOUS, hearty, custom pizza + delivery for under 20$! We ordered a supreme pizza with "lite" crust in garlic and all the toppings & dough was cooked perfectly without feeling guilty bout it. I could tell that it seemed super busy when I called. The wonderful guy answering at Chamblee location - his name was Reggie, I believe. Ran by a group of badass older Italian gentleman who look and sound like they just stepped out of a gangster film, and are passionate about what they do. I have lived in the area for 4 years and this was my first visit to this place. Location: Milano's is located inside a shopping center with plenty of parking. Ambiance: It is a no frills restaurant. If you are from anywhere up north walking into this place gives you that pizzeria feel and It has a very family run business like feel. It most likely is and these place always end up being very good. There is some seating for eating in but this felt more like a pick up and leave place. I did eat in and it was perfectly fine. Staff: The gentleman who took my order and made my pizza was friendly. I did watch him interact with other customers and he was pleasant with everyone. Food: I ordered a cheese slice with a Snapple. Very simple. My slice came out fresh, hot, and cut in three's. The pizza was fairly thin slice and very good. No complaint. I see myself coming back more often. read more

If I could give -100 stars I would ... not only did I receive less than mediocre food, the delivery driver was disgusting, I ordered a large order for a CORPORATE MEETING and the driver made a huge scene in my place of business demanding a tip , he slammed my pizzas and salads on the counter and stormed out .. as mentioned before it was a large order so Gratuity was automatically applied .. not only was he unprofessional inside .. once we was outside the building he yelled out " sons of b****" to my company president . This was such an embarrassment. I have never dealt with this type of deplorable behavior. I was able to contact the manager and he acted very nonchalant about the situation. Thin crust, gooey mozzarella cheese (with a little grease), easy on the sweet sauce, and foldable. The special is a 1-topping large for $6. Come on, this is the kind of pizza that you find in The City and in pretty much most of NY, Boston, and Philly. None of that gourmet baloney that's rampant in the ATL. Oh, I love our regulars! And my boss for loving them, too. The owners of Milano are two gents who visit Pub regularly. Yesterday was our big St Pat's celebration and the limited menu was for the guests, not staff. See where I'm going with this? The Milano Men brought ten pies, all different toppings, for our linner (get it? lunch + dinner = linner!). My absolute hands down favorite was the spinach, ricotta and garlic on a just thin enough wheat crust; I didn't even realize the crust was wheat till I was eating and enjoying it, and I've been averse to even trying wheat crusts anywhere! The range of other pizzas was from plain cheese to Hawaiian, pepperoni to BBQ chicken...The sausage and pepperoni and the Hawaiian seemed to be crowd favorites; the crust on the plain cheese I sampled was a thinner and just slightly crispier version of the Fellini's bent. Overall, the food gets a 3.5*. Awesome treat on a crazy day - and now that I know I like the food, I am even more excited that they deliver to me! A non-chain, tasty, Brookhaven-ish place that actually delivers - that's the bump to 4* for me! read more
