    Pepperoni Slice
    Rachel W.

Loved the way my slice came out! It was hot and crispy with a generous amount of pepperoni. I wish the crust itself had a bit more flavor, but otherwise I was perfectly happy with my big, hot slice. The customer service was friendly, and I observed many repeat customers coming in and saying hi to the staff. I noticed a public sign that says that after a certain amount of time, remaining pizza slices must be thrown out. Not that I am a fan of food waste, but it gives me reassurance that my slice for dinner has not been sitting around since opening. There's really not much space to eat here. There's some counter seats, but I have a feeling that it's more for waiting customers since they don't have trash cans around or napkins on the table. There's one picnic table outside but that's about it. If you order from here, plan on taking out.

SOLID NY STYLE PIZZA IN DUNWOODY | i believe i have yet to experience a bad slice from Piccola. As a sucker for a thin NY slice, Piccola fits the bill, especially with the cheese pizza lunch special (which you can also upgrade with extra toppings) that comes with 2 HUGE cheese pizza slices and a canned soda for $7.50 (it was $6.50 back in 2022 but that's inflation for ya). They also have other pre-made slices like the meat lovers, supreme, etc that you can purchase by the slice. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick and cheap lunch or craving a NY slice in the Dunwoody area!

I am so happy that my wife discovered this gem. What an amazing place with delicious pizza and friendly staff. Here is the summary of my experience here; 1) Ambiance 3/5: Well this is not a fine dining restaurant. This is mostly a takeaway place but they still have some seats for people to eat and wait while they cook it fresh. Even then, I love their transparent setting where you can see your pizza being made, cooked, and packed. There is some parking in front but you might have to search for some space during rush hours 2) Service 5/5: The people here are friendly, helpful, cheerful,l and a delight to talk to. They make sure your requests are taken care of. 3) Food 6/5: We ordered a half-and-half cheese and mushroom pizza, and it was absolute heaven. As per my wife, you could close your eyes while eating a slice and feel transported to a New York pizzeria. 4) Value for Money 5/5: The prices are great and you could have a full meal for under $10. This is true value for money with great taste. If you are a New York-style pizza lover who loves great pizza and great prices in and around this place and has not visited this place yet, you are missing a lot! :) What's Good: 1) Freshly cooked amazing new york style pizza 2) The staff Not so Good: 1) Nothing that I can think of

The Nona gets better and better every time we order it! This is a great pie - best thick crust in Georgia.

This is a small place with a couple of bar seats which is clearly geared towards takeout. It took a minute for me to be greeted resulting in some good-natured ribbing (I think) between the staff. I'm always skeptical of places that say "New York Style"; of course you'd want to associate yourself with the pinnacle of the cuisine you're doing, but it's often just a cheap marketing trick. My Sicilian pizza, however, was quite impressive. A distinctively textured crust was browned deliciously at the edges while being soft and relatively light inside, making for a satisfying crunch. Mushrooms and peppers were helpful toppings, and while it is a $30 pizza, it is also enormous and will be good for multiple meals. They didn't have much besides bread and cheese, but the picture of a salad they had up kind of made me wish I'd gotten one. Regardless, you'll be hard pressed to find a better pizza of this sort in the region.

So this is a very Small shop, only about 4 to 5 seats on the inside and a couple of picnic tables on the inside. No signage but there are small menu's to look at (I tried to take a pic for y'all lol). The service was good. One of the chefs hooked me up with a slice just because. He didn't know me so that was mad cool of him! Fries were pretty good. It was odd because the seasoning on the fries or if there was any legit seasoning it was only on the top, they didn't actually shake the fries in the seasoning so I noticed that. So you would get fries that have something on them and then you get fries that are pretty bare so that was something I noticed. Meat lovers slice was Good. Didn't have as much sauce that I would have liked to have, but it had a lot of meat and it was placed with plenty of flavor. It was kind of like a calzone situation because the bottom and the top of the pizza had crust. I guess they said they were going to do that so they would have to worry about something falling off while you're eating it. We'll just cover it lol. White slice was actually really good. Didn't have meat on it, but it had a very mild but pretty good flavor profile to it. So if you dont eat meat, this may be for you. Lemon pepper wings were Good and flavor but my only grip was the fact that they were very small. Comes with carrots and celery and your choice of ranch and blue cheese dressing. You get about 10 wings, well I did, but again, they weren't the biggest wings. This could be a decent go to pizza spot for me. It didn't miss on flavor. I wish that everyone back there had on gloves, which was my only thing. Is that going to be something that stops me from trying it again, no, but I would have liked to see all employees doing it.

Been going here for a few years. Still the best slice in the game for my money. I moved, so I can't go as often as I used to, but when I'm in the area, I go back. Service: friendly, fast, and never gets the order wrong! Pizza usually takes 15-20 minutes if you order for carry out. They also deliver, but I've always just picked up on site. Quality: You can taste the freshness and quality in the sauce, cheese, toppings, and dough. Pizza is never floppy. Dough/crust is crispy and holds up well. Price: I've always gotten pepperoni or pepperoni & basil, so I can't say for sure the pricing on more than 1-2 toppings. They may not charge for basil either. The pizza is always 24 bucks or so if I remember correctly. Well worth it if you like a nice NY style pizza. Location: easy to access off winters chapel in Norcross/Dunwoody area. Plenty of parking. They also make a mean meatball sub. It's more of a carry out spot. There's a small seating setup but it's more of a "sit here while you wait" setup than an actual "sit down and eat here" setup. I think there are some benches outside though.

White Pizza Med 14" with Mushrooms, Black Olives, half Bacon

BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!! This place is AMAZING!!! We've been twice and the second time sealed the deal! The service is fast and easy! Call-in, ready in 15-20mins. Boom! It's a real deal pizza shop and the accent of whom I assume maybe the owner is real deal NY style of Italian. There are soda cans for sale that are apart of a deal which is two slices with a soda; take about super nostalgic! First time we ordered a medium white pizza with mushrooms, black olives, and bacon added to half the pizza. The original pizza made was wrong so they made us another right on the spot and sold our pizza by the slice because they sell slices of pizza which is rare but awesome. Long story short, the pizza was piping hot and ABSOLUTELY delicious!!! Oh em gee! We finished it in one night and didn't leave leftovers. Fast forward to the second visit which prompted this review, it was pizza night and we wanted to try this place again since it's not far from us. We ordered the veggie with half having pepperoni. I also ordered A Sicilian Nona slice because I love deep dish pizza and wanted to test it out for next time. When I picked the pizza it was super hot! There was steam coming from the box. The Sicilian slice came in a brown bag with a paper plate and I couldn't wait to eat it so I ate it right on the spot in the parking lot lol! It was soooooo flavorful and cheesy and bigger than I anticipated. Definitely will be ordering a whole pizza next time. I saved the rest for my partner so he can try it. The pizza was everything and we finished it in one swoop! So flavorful, so hot, and nice sized slices. This place is a 10 out of 10.

cheese calzone, garlic knots* and Jumbo Cannoli

WOAAAHHH THE CALZONE IS HUGE! I got the cheese calzone, garlic knots, and a cannoli the shop it's self is small and intimate I loved it. if I knew the calzone was going to be this huge I would of not gotten the garlic knots but all in all food is good my dad approved and he's picky(he's only ever had pizza h*t and li**le c*asers) thank you for this amazing food

    Cheese pie. Slightly underdone.

While we normally prefer our gnocchi crispy on the outside, this was so good. - Parmigiana di Melanzane ($27): Good! There was some peel left on the eggplant that was really hard and inedible, but besides that, nice flavor! The spaghetti was good too. We wished they offered chicken parm, but that wasn't on the menu. - Gelato ($6): We got one scoop of the Hazelnut Nutella gelato and true to its name, it was very heavy on the hazelnut flavor. Very creamy and tasty though! We had a great experience here! Reasonably priced, good food. We'll be back!

We ordered the calamari and bruschetta for appetizers and we were asked if we wanted the free garlic knots (BIG MISTAKE) The calamari were good especially because my husband and son prefer the rings and the whole plate were rings. My mother had never had them before (we didn't tell her what they were) and she also thoroughly enjoyed them. The bruschetta was ok; it was very different than I'm used to because it had tiny mozzarella balls in it, which were nice, but seriously lacked garlic and the tomatoes were blah. The thing I like about the most were the slices of bread around the bruschetta because they were soft and crunchy in all the right places. Those garlic knots on the other hand are trouble ...the dough was so fresh and had so much flavor, I ate 2 of them and couldn't really eat my entree, but they were incredibly worth every bite! !!!!What a horrible and disgusting service. Horrible customer service and they give your food away…read moreto other clients!!! I placed two orders over a week ago. I get an email late last week saying that my order is going to be ready for pick up on a date but fails to provide the date. I called yesterday at 11:52 am to confirm when I can pick up. The lady on the phone said my order was in fact ready for today but because of very bizarre business hours (7-2) I asked if I can pick up on Wednesday morning instead. She said yes no problem. Today I get a phone call (1:20pm) and I called back a few minutes later (1:23pm) as I was in between patients. The lady on the phone, KAYLA, told me that my order was incomplete and had out of stock items. I whispered back, as I was in the clinic, saying I'm confused why my order was complete yesterday but not today. I followed up by saying as a customer it is concerning to me that it seems like my food is being given to other priority clients. KAYLA responded "I do not know" and I said well that's not reassuring to hear as a client. Typically, if a client is skeptical of this grave practice, they would be reassured that the ethics and values of this company does not practice this. However, it was not denied. KAYLA seemed frazzled and said I just got your paper and I said I can't be on the phone anymore please email me with update. I asked if I can still show up tomorrow for pickup and she said yes. I specifically said thank you and have a good day. Six minutes later I get a missed call with a disgustingly toned voicemail (attached below) saying "... let me just say this I do not appreciate you being rude or insulting Any one of my stuff that will not work with us...". I also receive an email regarding the out of stock items. I respond to the email as I was in clinic saying the situation and how I simply had a question and concern that my items were being given to other priority clients. I explained how I was not being rude or never ever insulted someone. I couldn't even raise my voice as I was whispering. I never even complained about the actual items being out of stock. I am appalled that I even received such voicemail. Then, instead of apologizing or offering any type of customer support, PETER was implying that he was able to hear my conversation. Which great!! Because I truly am confused since I was not rude nor insulting anyone. Additionally, how is peter able to hear my conversation if I was whispering? He also apologizes "if that is the case" that someone said my order was ready for pickup today. Why if that is the case? Why are you questioning the client??? Regardless, the concerning part is that he doesn't even apologize to me for leaving such email AND DOESNT EVEN DENY OR ADDRESS MY CONCERN OF THEM GIVING AWAY MY FOOD TO OTHER CLIENTS!! I am still waiting for an apology and for a clarification on this. But I guess no answer is an answers and confirmation that they do. I then respond to their email confirming the substitution and that I will be there tomorrow morning as planned and as per the confirmation via phone today. Then I get a response saying not to come pickup tomorrow until confirmed??? They're truly a mess and don't know what they're saying on the phone and what they're emailing either. Side note, their website advertises that they deliver to my zip code. When asked over the phone and in person, they say no?? They have disgusting customer service and to be honest it's sooooo sketchy and weird place. It's a warehouse you have to go pick up at in the middle of no where. No thank you!! Taking my business elsewhere!! Peter- per your email, if you really appreciated my business is this how you respond or treat a customer? Especially a new one?? Attached below are the proof of the emails and voicemails. Shame that a Jewish facility practices this way.

Absolutely amazing food. I have not been able to find any better options for these wonderful meats…read morethey create and distribute. On top of that, it seems to me that the staff works pretty much day and night to take care of their customers. This is what REAL service is. Thank you!
