Milano's will always hold a special place in my heart. Years ago I used to live right down the road. It was my regular spot to grab some great quality for the price for big parties. If I was also not feeling like cooking after working a long shift I'd stop in for a bite. Now Iv moved to Longview and I still make the trip for the pizza and ambiance. First time eating at Milano's and we were not disappointed! We ordered a supreme pizza and everything was so fresh - the ingredients were plentiful and the crust was good. My husband never eats crust actually ate every bite and said 'wow this crust is good!'. The servers were very friendly and brought our pizza out steaming hot. Although we didn't order this time, there is a really nice fully loaded bar as well as a salad bar with everything you could possibly want will have to try both next time. I asked for sausage and Italian sausage on one pizza but they only put sausage on the pizza. On the second pizza they barely put any pepperoni on the entire pizza, maybe one pepperoni per slice. MILANO's stop being stingy with your toppings. Please don't blame it on the tariffs. Also, when customers call in they should not hear all the background noise, rethink the setup. We have eaten here twice now. The ambiance isn't over the top but I liked it. It seemed clean and the waitress was pleasant. The first time we ate there we got a thin-crust medium pizza half and half and it was delicious. With 2 drinks we got out of there for about $23 (I think that included tip). We remarked that it was about the same as we'd have spent at Whataburger and this was so much better. So, tonight, we went back. We ordered the same pizza but we also got salads. The pizza was extreamley greasy and the taste wasn't great; not terrible but not great. My wife figured out why; they had neglected to put the tomato sauce on the pizza!! We left half the pizza on the table. The sweet tea, fine the last time, wasn't sweet. No problem, just a mistake. We had them replaced. The new ones were barely sweet at all. Not thrilled with that either. Lastly, they asked us if it was good tonight. I explained the situation to them and they replied by explaining -- very nicely -- that it was OUR fault for not telling them to add the sauce to the pizza; in fact they always serve it that way. Huh. The previous week we didnt ask for more sauce and it was great. I guess it was just a Christmas Miracle. Now I understand that I'm just an idiot for thinking that most pizza -- throughout my entire life -- has always come with tomato sauce on the pizza by default. Imagine my surprise. This is our favorite pizza place PERIOD! We live in Tyler and drive all the way to Troup just to eat here. Natalie is the BEST and so is the pizza. This IS the best pizza in and around Tyler. Located on the Smith County side of Bullard, adjacent to the Brookshire's grocery store on Highway 69, this small pizza place has the best pizza I have ever eaten. In the 25 years I had lived in Irving, I had never eaten pizza that was better than Milano's Pizza. The spaghetti is absolutely awesome. It is obvious to me that pride is very abundant in the quality of the product. Ingredients are fresh and made of the highest quality. You can taste the exceptional quality in the ingredients. Ingredients are abundant. When you pick up a slice of pizza, the cheese is oozing. The salad bar is consistently fresh. There are two time frames per day for the all-you-can-eat buffet, 11 am until 2 pm for lunch and 5 pm until 8 pm for supper. I have been there for the beginning of the buffet time. Usually, the first pizza on the small warming table is pizza ordered by the first buffet customer. They will make a pizza specially for the buffet to accommodate new buffet patrons as they arrive. Although the drink fountain is self serve, they don't expect you to get your first drink. They will fix your drink and bring it to your table. If an employee is available to get your drink refills, they will. The dining room is generally empty when I go in, but the phone is ringing off the hook. This tells me that the majority of their orders are either for pick up or delivery. I can't wait to try their sandwiches and other menu items. They have definitely spoiled me for other pizza restaurants. They are definitely worth the 15 mile drive from my house in Jacksonville. read more

Absolutely love Milano's. Places like this are what make it impossible for me to eat at a Pizza chain and enjoy it. I will now minimize fluff and get to the Pie. We ordered delivery to Flint, a large Taco and a large Chicken Alfredo. The taco pizza was great, it has a nice flavor, and the salsa(I suspect is pace), compliments the flavor of the other toppings well. Reasonable amount of topping to bread, not just a bunch of sauce. Overall something we would order again. The Chicken Alfredo is the star. No way anyone in our house would argue. Chicken is grilled nicely, cut into fajita like strips. Alfredo is creamy, and seasoning of chicken with the Alfredo just works. We also had mild Buffalo wings. They are not the typical wings you would get at like wing stop or wingstop. They are breaded and the buffalo flavor almost seems within the breading. Difficult to describe. I honestly really like them, my wife does as well. My mother in law didn't like them, but she really doesn't like anything. Definitely give this a place a shot if you are wanting Pizza. You too may quit on some of the other chains. read more

Our first visit to this place was good. We had the buffet. The pizza could use a little more sauce, but overall, it was a good slice. The variety could have been better, but they do take requests. I have been trying to limit my bread intake, so I only ate the toppings; my husband did eat all of his slices. For $6.99 at the buffet, it was a really good price. So, a couple days later, we return during a weekday, and the place was hopping! We were able to find seating just as another table was leaving. The buffet was loaded with many pizzas, and we served ourselves. Again, I just ate the toppings and left behind the crust. The manager, or maybe he was the owner, he had a shaved head, stopped by to clear our table, and he noticed the crusts I had not eaten. He then tells me that I can't do that, that I can only get pizza if I'm going to eat all of it and that they don't make any money if everyone were to just eat the toppings - WHAT??!!! First of all, if you offer a buffet, then you don't get to tell the patron how to eat off of it OR that they need to eat everything on their plate. If he knew how to price his menu so he could turn a profit, then he wouldn't need to tell me (or anyone) how to eat from the buffet. And I'm certain there aren't a lot of people who frequent this establishment who only eat the toppings during the buffet offering. This manager/owner, or whatever he is, needs to be educated in the hospitality industry. Can you imagine going to a Golden Corral or some other buffet restaurant and getting told how to eat your food or to clean your plate? Of course you can't - they know how to run their business. Ordered delivery from these guys and the pizza never showed up. I called and they said they thought my delivery had left 5 minutes ago so I waited a while longer but still no pizza. Called again and got nothing but a message saying they haven't setup their voicemail box.. It was probably a busy day for them (it was New Years Eve) so I though maybe they just got overloaded and couldn't deliver it in time and that the person I talked to had been mistaken about my order being sent out. But when I called the next day they claimed it was actually delivered and wouldn't refund my money (over $50!). When I talked to the manager he said they had a lot of problems with the community I live in, which for some reason, means the problem is not with them. I guess my neighborhood is full of pizza stealing scammers? Seems more likely they have a problem with whatever service they are using to navigate to addresses in this area. Google maps gives a path right to our door no problem though so not sure what they are using. Anyways, just know that if your pizza doesn't get delivered they will not give your money back so order at your own risk. read more

This review is for the Milano's location on Hwy 155 in Flint. What a JOKE, don't waste your time. We called in an order, and went in and picked it up. The gentleman at the counter was rude as hell, acted like I was wasting his time. Worst customer service ever. We ordered one large, and one small pizza. I took the pizzas home, opened the boxes and was absolutely appalled by the sizes of these pizzas. The "small" was not a small, but a personal size barely enough for one person.That would be okay, if they weren't advertising a small that feeds four people, not one. . The "large" was a 12" pie. Since when is a large pizza 12"? To say the least, we were disappointed, especially when the price for a large was $17.99. I rarely waste time by complaining, just take it as a lesson learned, and never return. But the guy at the counter was so unfriendly, I decided to call. I expressed my opinions about the size and cost, and first the guy asked me how I measured the pizza. Really? This guy told me if I didn't like the pizza it was my problem, not his. MY PROBLEM, NOT HIS. Needless to say, I will never return to this dump, and I will tell everyone I know to steer clear of Milanos Pizza. So disappointed in Milanos today. I brought my grandchildren in from Houston to Milanos for a pizza buffet treat. One of them does not eat meat due to a digestive issue and only eats cheese pizza or very plain veggie pizza. There was a lot of pizza but all were loaded with meat and only one veggie option so loaded with olives that it was not an option. There was a lot of pizza out but it had been out for quite a while. We asked if they could put a cheese pizza on the buffet and told yes. I paid for our lunch in advance and spent over 40 dollars. Then 10 minutes later we were told that there was already too much pizza on the buffet and that even after a space opened up we would have to wait until all the phone orders were completed. Their crust is great. HOWEVER, there was no chicken in my BBQ chicken pizza and they tried to serve us cheesecake that was frozen solid. I couldn't get a fork through it AT ALL. The manager came out to speak with me and leaned down only to exhale cigarettes all over me while explaining that that's how they serve cheesecake there. They keep it in the freezer because it's too hot to keep it out. Here's a suggestion; try a refrigerator. I bet the instructions on the box you took it out of tell you to defrost before serving.
