Me and my daughter went to check this place out after having tried it a few years ago. It has a certain charm to it that appeals to me. Only one other couple in there, so the wait was really short. The gentleman that took our order wasn't a man of many words but was courteous and friendly. Somehow his personality added to the charm. Pizza was very good with a very crispy crunch. Best pizza in the area! I love the crispy crust and the simplicity of this delicious pizza. We keep it simple and only ever order the pepperoni, but I'd be willing to bet all of their pizzas are amazing. I also had the salad, but wasn't a huge fan as it's pretty darn basic. What an first time experience. My wife stops there for the first time after working 12 hour shift in open heart surgery and she has to deal with the douche bag behind the counter with his smart ass attitude. She asked a simple question of " do you have a buffalo chicken pizza" and the smart ass says " look, if it ain't on the menu we don't have it. ". So my wife says " you don't have to be smart about it " and douche bag ramps it up and says fine just leave then and he was practically yelling. What a dick. I have lived in New York state for years as well as in Los Angeles. To this day, Milano's makes my favorite pizza of all time! My family and I have been enjoying their pizza for years. My favorite pizzeria in LA is NY style that comes close to the taste of Milano's Pizza...it is not as good, and it is twice as expensive. Not so great. I was stoked when I walked in to see a balding man wearing a sweaty plain white T slaving over a pizza oven with determination and aplomb, but the pizza was not very good at all. The crust was tasteless, the meats (I got the Meatlover's. Love dat meat.) were indistinguishable in flavor. Milano makes good pizza. Classic NY style crust and sauce. Prices are on par with their competitors and location is okay. Their non-pizza food is nothing to write home about however. The sandwiches are a little underwhelming and their salads are terrible. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and it was terrible. A few slices of grilled chicken on a small handful of iceberg. My favorite pizza place of all time. Everytime I return home from college on break I always make sure to stop here. Very consistent establishment because they always produce a high quality pizza and owner is almost always working behind the counter. The pizza was ok. But the employees are ridiculously rude and unfriendly. The guy didn't say one word to me when we walked in to pick up the pizza. They also hung up on me when I placed my order on the phone. He never gave me a total, asked for my name or any info. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointed in the Garden Salad that I ordered to acompany my pizza. It was about 1/4 a head of iceberg lettuce (with the crappy core parts), 2 small slices of green pepper, and 2 slivers of tomato. This place is a New York style pizzeria and the owner has been making pizza in this town for well over 20 years. For those who loved Pizzeria Italia below Keglers back in the early to late 90's before it was sold, this is the same pizza chef. Besides the great pizzas, the prices are phenomenal. Two people can eat a large pizza for around $11.00. Anyway, if you like a thin crust New York style of pizza, you should give it a try. read more
