    Large Pork Adobo (32 oz)

Just had an amazing meal from Mila's Kusina and I'm already thinking about my next order. I got the Tocino, two barbecue skewers, and Adobo -- and every single dish hit the mark. The Tocino was perfectly sweet and savory, with that beautiful caramelized glaze and super tender pork. It paired perfectly with some garlic rice I had at home. The barbecue skewers were smoky and juicy with a flavorful marinade that gave off serious street food vibes -- absolutely delicious. The Adobo? Comfort food at its finest. The meat was fall-apart tender, soaked in that rich, tangy-salty sauce that makes Adobo so iconic. You can tell this is the kind of recipe passed down through generations. Mila's Kusina really delivers on bold, authentic flavors. Everything arrived fresh, hot, and well-packaged. Highly recommend if you're craving real Filipino comfort food done right.

The service people were paranoid and obnoxiously rude and began throwing out food orders for no apparent reason then blaming her actions on the customer.

This place is delicious! And amazing prices! There are some items I haven't been daring enough to try, but I will! Don't hesitate to try out this little family run gem.

Food is great and I just wished they do delivery for all Palmdale but so far I'm happy with what they serve.

Always good service. The food is consistent. There isn't much of a selection, but they have daily specials.

Great priced Filipino food. Food is average but good. Only suggestion I have is that they have to upgrade their rice quality.

She was able to grab all her favorite snacks from her chikdhood and they were all great! They had several different types of mochi and chips that were super tasty. I was also super impressed with the different selections of Furikake. Most places just have 1 to choose from but I saw at least 5 here. They were a bit on the pricier side but super worth it. Service was also great. The lady at the cashier was super welcoming and friendly as well as the guy stocking the shelves who was very helpful recommending different products. It's a pretty small space for a market but packed to the rafters with Asian goodies. They don't have fresh meat and seafood but they do have a refrigerated area with all the essential Asian veggies, herbs and some fruit. They do have freezers of frozen fish and meat, but it's a small selection. They have tons of sauces, dried ingredients and noodles. They also have a small cooking utensil selection with all the essentials. They have large bags of rice and a few fresh bakery items near the checkout area. If you're into Asian cooking, this is a fun place to go crazy browsing.

We stopped at Camarillo Outlets to try and kill time since our Air B&B is not ready until late afternoon. I looked to see if there are any Filipino food spots in the area and I found Lola Betty's. We ordered the short rib plate and the Tasilog plate and lumpia Shanghai- washed it down with Calamansi juice. Everything was delicious, 10/10. The owner came out to check on us and she was so kind, hospitable and shared some history with us on how Lola Betty's came to be. From food truck to walk up, she said that some people really preferred or hoped for a sit down restaurant. I don't have a preference. I only love the soul and passion that is poured into one's food. Love, soul and passion can be found here. The owner says, "I just really wanted a place where you can really be attentive and really take the time to cook the food the way it should be made". I can tell that she loves what she does and she thanked us for trying their food. I wanted to thank HER for feeding us! If I forgot to thank her, here it is. This place is worth a stop if you're smart.

The pricing is fair, portions are generous, and overall the food was good. As a fellow Filipino, I would love to see a little more variety on the menu since it currently focuses on the basics. From a business standpoint, especially considering the location and customer base, I understand keeping things simple. The only dish I wasn't a huge fan of was the Tapsilog, as the meat was a bit salty for my taste. The Longsilog was much better, and I loved that they included a small puto (rice cake) with the meal. Overall, a great experience and worth a visit.
