Had the opportunity to book a tour with Mile High Bike Tours during my vacation in Denver. I have to say this was one of the highlights of my trip. My guide was Justin and he was fantastic. The tour goes for 2.5 hours and covers 9 miles but don't worry there are plenty of stops and the bike ride is at a nice pace. This is a wonderful way to see the cities major landmarks, historic sites, public buildings, sports stadiums, and the overall beautiful architecture of Denver. Overall this is as a great tour and I recommend anyone traveling to Denver or even locals to attend.

Excellent tour. Our guide John was awesome. Very attentive. Really cool guy. Bikes were in good condition. Plenty of interesting information.

We had an awesome time seeing the Denver sites by bike with our amazing tour guide Justin. We definitely recommend the tour for out of towners or locals. You will cover a lot of ground, while hearing about the history behind it, seeing some interesting attractions, and having fun fun fun!! Even stopped for a brewski at First Draft!!

A great tour to take to get a layout of Denver. We biked around a lot of Denver and we marked down different spots to try out after we were done. My only complaint, the guide didn't wait until everyone on the large tour was at the meeting point to talk, so if you have a bike which had a problem shifting gears (like me) then I missed out on the beginning of the talks.

Awesome tour! Our tour guide was the best, the ride was informative and fun at the same time. We all had great conversations (the 2 of us, 2 other riders, and the guide) and learned a lot of cool stuff about the downtown area in Denver! We called the day of and asked if any rides were available and lucky for us one was at at 1pm. We paid over the phone for the tour and got a confirmation email. Even though the bike store where we met was closed for the day, the tour guide met us about 20mins before the tour at the shop. She had waters for us and fitted us for a bike. My bike had a basket in the front where I could put my bag. The other bikes had pouches in the front to store stuff as well. Once we were all ready we headed out on there road. There are lots of bike lanes around downtown that we used. I felt safe the entire time. We rode for about 2 hours, stopping at sights and for a bathroom break. Then we stopped at a small brewery at the end to wind down. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a good feel of the city and it's history.

Ian was super helpful. The bikes were perfect for our needs. They were easy to work with and fit our party of four with e-bikes.

My Brother's previous positive experience on the West Highland Way (Scotland) got Gayle and I interested in our own lodge-to-lodge walking tour. We chose "Cotswolds in Comfort" which was 6 days and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. And everything was so interesting and gorgeous. Yes, it rained on the first day and we walked through a lot of mud. Macs Adventure can't control that, but the other stuff that they could manage, went off almost flawlessly. That included excellent accommodations, efficient luggage transfer, pre-trip information, and a walking app that kept us on our paths and never lost. Actually, we did wander off once to avoid mud, and the app did show us where we could get back on path. We're now talking about where our next Macs Adventure walking tour might be. France? Germany? New Zealand? Switzerland? Stay tuned!

The price was excellent for a three-hour tour. We were originally scheduled for a tour a few days later but rain was in the forecast so Tom let me and my husband switch to an earlier day. It was almost 100° out the day we had our tour, so we appreciated the frequent stops to make sure we were drinking enough water and staying hydrated. He brought a ton of water for each of us and was constantly asking if we needed more water. He also brought sunscreen. With all of our frequent stops our tour ran almost an hour late. That wasn't a problem because we didn't have anything else scheduled afterward, but we were starving because our tour started at 10:00 and ended at 2:00. I would rather have started the tour at 9:00 instead so we could have finished earlier. But I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the Denver area. It really helped us to get to know the city better and find our way around.

Devon is such a wonderful tour guide; incredibly accommodating and professional. He was really informative about the area. Stopped to let me get a close look at elk and even a moose. We had a lovely lunch at a cafe at the top of the mountains. I loved the weather, it was 80 when we left, then it rained, then it hailed, then it snowed! On the way back, Devon casually tosses out, "Do you like pie?" WHO doesn't like pie?! He stopped at a little place he knows where a woman in her 80's makes homemade pie (Colorado Cherry Company), but unfortunately, it was closed (so whe had to stop for ice cream further down the road). Devon and I talked throughout the entire tour (which was about 7 hours) about books and our love for animals and nature and our lives; as we drove through some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere. It was one of those few days in my life that I will remember and cherish; when you have a great connection with both nature and with another kindred spirit.

PRO TIP: try avoiding the most back row if you have long legs or any stress with mobility. Because once you sit there, the seat is assigned and you will have to deal with being cramped in a tighter space. And you basically are always the last one to get off. This was one of the biggest cons. Moving on, the tour itself was great. We stopped by a cafe on the way to and back, for food and bathroom breaks, and pretty soon, the van took us to the Rocky Mountain with beautiful views and even saw many wildlife - the big horn sheep, elk, deer (i think), and, not to forget, smaller animals like birds, mouse, and chipmunks, but no moose spotted. Nonetheless, the breathtaking view of the Rockies is certainly worth the journey. The guide was very knowledgeable about trees and shared many stories about the places and tips for visiting Denver in general! She also took us to a few Native American owed stores that featured indigenous art that were very cool to see. One thing to note is that I think the Colorado Sightseer, the tour company, had listed at least two slightly different itineraries, and I might have been sent to the one I did not pick. I noticed because I intentionally picked the tour with visits to two visitor centers, vs the one I went on only took us to Beaver Meadows. Not a big deal bc I did get still get my stamp, and the tour used most of the day's time efficiently by visiting many attractions. But this might be something you want to make sure if the stops matter a lot to you. Nonetheless, with a group tour, it is understandable and expected for the itinerary to potentially change. For instance, the day I went, the tour guide actually too us to visit places in different order to avoid crowds. Another thing to really appreciate is that the tour provided some snacks, extra gloves/beanies, which were really a lifesaver in the cold mountains. I know I was not fully prepared for it and so glad I could borrower some!
