Scott and Ryan go way beyond regular chiropractic, offering Active Release Technique (ART) and cryotherapy - which is amazing!! (Cold - really cold lol - but amazing!) You will not believe how just a short time in the cryo tank can make such a difference! I am in the gym a lot and it can take a toll - I know when my body is feeling out of sync it's time to see these guys and it always makes a huge difference. I also spend a lot of time sitting in front of a computer for work and my back definitely isn't always a fan - anytime I just feel like I'm tight or out of whack, I call and get in. Each of the rooms have pics of the human body that they use to explain what's triggering your pain and give you stretches/exercises to help with it. The facility had an updated modern decor, with relaxing background music playing softly. There wasn't a receptionist but signage indicated that - you just walk in & sit down. Within a few minutes my Massage Therapist, Darlin came out & brought me back to a massage room. When I made the appointment it was required to book with a credit card & the price included a 20% tip. I paid in total $114 for a 60 minute massage, however the actual massage was about 50 minutes. The 60 minutes included a few minutes of discussion, the time for me to prepare plus the massage. My appointment was at 11:45 AM & the massage ended at 12:45PM. Darlin's massage was absolutely amazing - very skilled & a great listener! She was really able to work on my problem areas. Darlin was quiet during the massage, which I appreciated. Some therapists talk a lot & that can make it hard to relax. After my massage I felt great! I highly recommend Darlin & plan on returning for another massage.

I think I've silently sobbed in the back room each time just explaining the pain, and each acupuncturist has been so kind, so present, and so calming. I drift off to sleep nearly every time. For me, I often find I am in more pain immediately after, but I 100% think acupuncture helps in the long run in healing. The space is clean and comfortable. I wish there was a ramp out front for those days I'm having trouble even walking up 5 steps, but there is a small wheelchair elevator to access the space (I just haven't used it since I'm still on my feet, for now!). I'll continue to come here. In fact, I threw my back out last night and came to this Yelp to get the phone number to make an appt and decided to leave this review too. I leave in 5 days to explore Amsterdam & Madrid - I'll update here if I'm healed by then! Edit** I spent the week before my trip on my back, immobile except coming to H&L three different times (for acupuncture and estem) and was religious about heating pads, soaking in the hot tub, and applying bio freeze/taking CBD. Over 7 days I barely walked 1 mile. Then I flew to Amsterdam and Madrid and walked a total of 29 miles over 7 days, while carrying a heavy backpack and pulling a suitcase. Not to mention, all the exploring, dancing (raves baby!), and movement. I can 10000% say that Herb & legend made this trip possible, and I would've been completely screwed without them. I got cupping and and needles. The cupping helped my shoulders tremendously and I was able to gain some relief, but was also educated on deeper-rooted issues that I wouldn't have otherwise identified myself. Throughout the process, she was able to clearly explain what she was doing, and what the intended results and goals would be for treatments. She even encouraged and explained things I could do on my own to help aid in my journey to relief. It was comfortable knowing that she is an expert in her field, and that her treatment would be able to target areas that I didn't even know existed on my body. Needles? Scared, but she did such a wonderful job in helping my fears, and guess what, I got needles stuck in me. I don't write many reviews at all unless I really feel the impact of my experience, and did I LITERALLY feel it. Needles to say (pun intended), that acupuncture has entered it's way into my life to stay because of this wonderful experience. I can tell and vouch for Christina's passionate ability to heal people, and I could not have picked a better clinic to visit. Bottom line, I've felt the best more recently than in a long time. The whole treatment felt like a new experience, and helped me tremendously. I came in and got more than what I was expecting.
