I don't have huge complaints but it's definitely not the best poutine I've ever had. Poutine is inherently a delicious food so I can't give too much credit to their ability to put toppings on fries. I ordered the Nacho Libre Poutine - I got a large since it was only a dollar difference, but I should have known better. I definitely couldn't finish it. I did select a small tip, so my poutine was around $19 all in, which is pretty insane. I think this place was set up to disappoint my expectations because I cannot imagine how a $19 poutine should taste. Price aside, I guess the taste was good - I liked the texture of the fries. The beef chili was a weird texture but the nacho cheese and sour cream overpowered it. No complaints about the service. read more

I really wanted to like this place but it just wasn't it for me. Poutine is poutine, so it's still good. Not to mention that it's also quick and easy to get. It was steps outside our suite so although there's nowhere to eat aside from standing next to the shop, we were able to bring it to our suite. I got the bacon poutine but there wasn't much bacon aside from what's on the top. It also could've been more cheesy (and this is coming from someone that doesn't like cheese that much). I had to buy and try it out, the lady who worked there was very friendly and chirpy she was super helpful and patient while I decided what to order but who am I kidding nothing is better than the original: ) the poutine tasted delicious I would suggest to ask for EXTRA gravy if you want your cheese to melt and your fries not tasting dry but overall taste was great. In a place like blue mountain, I'm sure people just have poutine cravings (hot gravy and cheese on a cold day!), So this place has lots of business regardless of their pricing. Well after snowshoeing you definitely will love pretty much everything you eat!! However this is just fine. Quick service is one advantage, but there is no seating available waiting for a while in cold can be uncomfortable. Good Portion but a little too pricy. There's not much to say about poutine but I can assure you there's nothing better than warm bowl of poutine after (or in-between a ski/board session and mile high poutine hits the spot. It's quick, simple, and delicious! Especially if you have no intention of sitting down at a restaurant, mile high poutine is a great choice. We've tried many varieties here and all of them were good - the double smoked bacon, the chili poutine, and the pulled pork poutines. They have many more crazier varieties but the ones above are definitely all very tasty and work well. The fries were warm and crisp, and not overly salted. The gravy was good, and the cheese curds were excellent as well. They're not totally melted but that's negligible to me. I guess if you wanted to be picky, some of the toppings were on the colder side but chances are you're going to eat it in outside in the cold anyways, so what's the difference? read more

Everything at Blue Mountain is a bit pricier than usual, so the same logic applies here. It's also good but not particularly good. I recommend you get some for the sake of getting poutine at Blue Mountain, especially if you have yet to try! I got the classic with a light drizzle of ketchup. We were here on Easter Sunday, at night, the village was fairly empty by then. We called ahead to confirm their closing time and were told 10pm. So we decided to buy our poutines, keep them in the fridge (total yuck-fest but we had to get "creative") .. and divulge once we return from drinking out at one of the village bars. We had the nacho, the classic and the Buffalo wing. For some of us, the fries were a little salty once cooled in the fridge but for others, they were salted to perfection (post-drinking taste buds) I ate half of my buffalo wing poutine cold, straight from the fridge, and the other half, I microwaved to compare, and it turned out as Tasty! not as nasty. Overall, a good amount of chicken, cheese, and just the right amount of hot sauce. The smaller portion size is of good value, any smaller and it would be too small for the price. First, I take responsibility for not exchanging currency Coming into Canada. That's my fault for expecting businesses to be ethical in their dealings with tourist, like evry other place I have visited. Sadly, this venue was absolutely not and I was take aback by their practice. I ordered fries, which werent good, and they charged the same price in American dollars as their Canadian dollar. When I mentioned it, she told me "they were told not to". I should have put the fries down and said no thanks, but I didn't. They essentially made .31 on each dollar off of every person like myself. Mind you every other business gave change in Canadian, but converted the currency. Yeah, they pretty much ripped people off based on ignorance. It's not right and good business practice and I will never eat here when I visit again. I ordered the bacon fries and it wasn't good. I threw it away. Tell me what's a better thing to stuff your belly with after hitting the slopes than a large bowl of piping hot poutine? The smell wafted into my nose as I was walking through the village to go pick up my lift ticket and I knew I had to get some at the end of the night. It's a stand in the village and so no seating area, but there was quite a line up at the end of the night filled with hungry skiiers and snowboarders. Ordered the BBQ Chicken poutine and I definitely prefer this over Smoke's poutines (sorry!). It tasted a bit more fresh and the cheese curds were good and stringy. Devoured it all in less than 5 mins. Next time I'm here, definitely getting the one with pogo sticks in it. I think you have to acknowledge the fact that you're in a touristy area, so obviously it'll be a bit more expensive and not as good as what you can get outside, but for what options you have inside the village, this was pretty good! read more

As a Canadian, I love poutines and have a few favourite spots in Montreal and Toronto. This place however will not be one of them. Although it is a convenient spot in the village to get your fix. I got the Chipotle Pulled Pork Poutine with Coleslaw and topped it off with Sriracha. My other three friends got the BBQ Chicken, the BBQ Pulled Pork, and the Chili 'N Cheese. It was just average and didn't wow me in any way, but it satisfied the craving just fine. I went to Blue Mountain this past Easter weekend and had the chance to explore the village resort. I went out at night around 11am, hoping to find something to eat. To my surprise, this small little booth opens till 3am and serve a good variety of poutine. Poutine, to me, is usually just fries and gravy. However, the menu selection is quite diverse. I ordered a Nacho Libre and a Pulled Pork Chipotle dish. The Nacho libre comes with guacamole and it was slightly spicy. The Pulled Pork Chipotle comes with good amount of pulled pork strip. I strongly mixing the two flavour together because it blends both the spicy and salty taste. The only bad part is that the special content is at the bottom of the cup, which means customers have to mix the poutine themselves. However, we ordered small size poutine and the serving came out larger than expected. Good for your value! read more

I was here a month ago. I forgot what my poutine was called but it was pretty much a regular poutine with a pogo stick on top. It could have been from the cold weather or the few hours I spent at the village so when I had the poutine it tasted really good, nothing that makes it stand out more from any other poutine place though. read more

Probably one of my favourite poutine joints. I would say it's in my top 3. The poutines here can easily feed two people if you get a large size. I got a philly cheese steak poutine and the lovely Jen (my wife) got a traditional poutine. both were great. service was quick and prompt. After paying $8 and receiving a tiny portion of fries and hardly any gravy or curds, I asked for a little extra gravy. I was harshly criticized and told that extra gravy would cost $1.50.
