Honestly, without this place at the Blue Mountain Village I would have felt homesick. I'm Italian and I love espresso and pastries so of course I was here every and I mean every, morning during my snowboarding vacation. I brought many friends with me and we all LOVED the coffee and pastries. The SERVICE was absolutely amazing, many of the employees were super helpful, passionate, caring, happy, and actually wanting to have conversations with you! They remembered my name and greeted me with BUG SMILES!! Thank you so much to the staff in this establishment! We stumbled upon this cute cafe in Blue Mountain Village. The place was bright and airy. The inside opens up to the outdoor patio which was quite serene. We had the chocolate croissant (5/5) which was buttery and flaky with the rich decadent flavour of the chocolate. The chocolate cookie (5/5) was a delight. It was soft and perfect for those looking for a nice sweet treat. The nutella ice cream latte (5/5) was so good. It wasn't overly sweet which was enjoyable. The iced americano (3/5) was decent. It's more on the acidic side which I'm not a fan of but I still enjoyed sipping on it. The service was fast and both ladies that worked at the espresso bar and at the counter were friendly. I also got a smoothie it was 9.00 The service was great they brought the sandwich to the table but the drink you need to pick up via your name. The sitting is small but nice. Came here for their s'more latte and it was delicious. Their desserts look amazing but didn't get a chance to get any but I got the ham and cheese crossiant. I was told it cannot be warm up because that can make the crossiant soggy. I got it anyways, though it was still good but the cheese was cut a little too thick esp it was cold and not melted. We stopped by this place for looking for a milkshake after spending the day hiking on Blue Mountain. They didn't have milkshakes but they had other delicious cold drinks! They have a s'mores latte, which was able to be made into a smore frappe for the hot weather. Also ordered the Amazon warrior, which is a mango & banana smoothie. Wanted a Starbucks alternative and found a very nice Expresso Bar with lively staff and patrons. The Bar is packed with people but the staff are friendly and moving quickly. Didn't know what to get since I don't eat meat but they suggested the Brekke without meat. I was skeptical since it said it had a maple flavored ketchup but it is delicious. I never thought I would have a cheese omelet on toasted bread but I am pleasantly surprised at its taste. I don't eat bread often but thought I would try some to fill me up before a day of skiing. Also had a green tea but the hit is the Brekke. Sharing a table since it is so crowded but no worries, we are doing on our own thing. I will be back here for sure to try other items (hot chocolate and tomato soup shot)this weekend but for now will continue to enjoy breakfast:-) read more

We got a freshly baked chocolate croissant which was actually really good. I can't say the same about the grilled ham and cheese sandwich that I got. It was good, but at $9, I don't know if it was relaly worth it when we just had a burger next door for the same price. I really needed some coffee so I was glad to stumble upon this cafe. I was very pleased with my cup. I am not 100% sure how the coffee is made, but I guess that allows me to give am unbiased opinion. There is a great selection of snacks as well. Doughnuts, cookies, croissants and more! The doughnut I got was excellent. As it was presumably intended, it also reminded me of the Simpsons so that made it more fun to eat. Prices are high at this place but then again its Blue mountain...everything is expensive here. Yum, yum, yum! What can I say? It was super busy on Saturday so we came back on Sunday which was a great idea. We were able to sit and enjoy our coffee and small bite. We ordered the dark chocolate mocha and the s'more latte. To eat, we had the ham and cheese croissant and the grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was served with a shot of tomato soup! I originally spilled my tomato soup when I was trying to open the container. It smelled delicious as it spilled everywhere. So, I decided to go back to the counter and pay for another tomato soup shot. The girl was really nice about it and replaced my soup without charge. She did say it would be the best part of the grilled cheese and boy, was she right!! The soup was tasty and full of herbs. I loved it. The dark chocolate mocha was bitter but good. However, next to the s'more latte, it looked very plain. The s'more latte was towering with toasted marshmallows, a single graham cracker and a ring of chocolate and sugar along the edge. It tasted just as amazing as it looked! Overall, a great place to visit on a quiet day (& any other day) but watch out for the busy Saturday mornings! read more

I hope I can remember the name of the latte..it was a Matcha Coconut Lavender latte. LOVED IT! I docked a star because of the price. It was about $6.50 for a small. But the taste was amazing. It had the rich creaminess of coconut milk with the refreshing cleansing taste of matcha. Honestly, the $6.50 was worth it. This cutely designed cafe is right by the gazebo and the gigantic chair. Very easy to find. They have quite a large selection of drinks some sandwiches and gourmet donuts available. Great place to chill. I only got the S'mores Latte. Small 6.95+tax. The cup is rimmed with Toffee and cookie crumbs, topped with whipped cream 2 big toasted marshmallows and a hearty scoop of small ones. Also comes with a small piece of grandam cracker. Lets keep this short and to the point. If you want a good coffee, latte, cappucino...go to Royal Majesty. You will not be let down. The coffee is EXCELLENT. My girlfriend and I once drove to Blue Mountain from Mississauga just to have their latte and cappuccino. This place is THAT good. The Starbucks around the corner is NO MATCH for this place. The service is also very good. The only reason for 4 stars is that this place is expensive. The cost of a regular latte or cappuccino is 5 bucks which is over-priced in my opinion. Black Cat Coffee and an ice-cream sandwich were the order of the day. The coffee was decent enough but the ice-cream sandwich! It was fantastic, albeit a bit pricey. They are not quite as advertised (as big as yo' head!) but they are very large, but sadly a little lean on the ice-cream. The ice-cream however is absolutely excellent! It's REAL, as in just like it would be if you had made it yourself with heavy cream. Delicious, but very melty. There were other goodies in the case, but I ran out of money and desire for sweets. The food is underwhelming, cute and photogenic in appearance but falls flat in flavor. The decor can also be said the same. Cute in appearance only. Had the tomato soup and it was really awful. Luke warm and salty yet had little to no flavor, the bread that accompanied it was beyond old tasting even though it was toasted. I never returned anything at a food establishment before so this was a first. I'm not sure what return etiquettes are but I assume you can't get food replaced if it's just bad and not to my liking, but no replacement was offered and frankly I didn't want one, I'm just out of 7$ which I think is worth it so long as I didn't have to finish eating it. My sis got the big brekkie, it wasn't very big and nothing in it really tasted authentic (I question if that egg was even real and the amount of bacon in it was laughably tiny) The hot chocolate was decent though, not as Milky as I liked and despite dining in we were still served in to-go paper cups which I think is kind of tacky for a cafe that serves moderately priced food and beverages. Great coffee...great choice of snacks and light meals. They have GF items too! Small place; not too many tables and it did get very busy but again somewhere decent to chill out; have a warm drink in the cold! Fast service and as another reviewer said it is a nice alternative to Starbucks...when you are faced with limited choices in Blue mountain. Only tried a cappuccino and cookie. Was pleased to see bags of Detour coffee beans, but disappointed once I'd ordered and realized they use automatic espresso machines like Starbucks or a cafeteria does. This turned good quality beans into an awful cup. Drip coffee uses some cheaper brand than Detour which they hide behind a cupboard. Cookie was good if a bit stale. read more

This place is really quaint and small but the pastries and drinks are wonderful. They offer alcoholic coffee drinks too, just be sure to get there before their "last call", which is 20 min before their closing time because you have to consume inside. read more
