The Worst!!...I bought my first home with my wife in the Addison Community.. Do not listen or trust them. Get all of your items fixed before closing. Do not believe that they will still fix it and go ahead and close on the property. You will lose your power and be a done and closed deal and you will not have priority at that point. There was a list of things that was wrong with the home. From electrical sockets not working properly, to missing roofing shingles, cracks in the foundation, missing shelves in the closets, Food disposal not working...ext. I hired a home inspector and he discovered over 100 things wrong with the house. I called and informed them and they said the list was too big and I would miss my closing date by the time they fixed it. No one is on your side, they will try to convince you that they have your best interest at heart don't believe them, it's bull shit!!... Once I closed I waited months to finally get them to help...and they told me that I'd have to go through the warranty department....Well guess what the warranty department pretty much didn't approve of fixing almost 2 thirds of my list..!!!...where was the go ahead and close and we'll fix everything!! They promised to fix everything and to go ahead and close. The phones kept ringing, no one answered. The superintendent (Charles is a piece of shit) He can come by my home and I'd say it to his face!!...Actually I want him to come over so i can...Charles please read this and know that you are a piece of shit!!.You know who I am..It took you 9 months to fix my back yard lawn from the damage that the other house made from the dirt pouring in from not leveling these properties currently..I know that rings a Bell and you know who I am...Where is your Character...You got promoted and forgot all about us and broke your promises and blatantly ignored me. I wasn't going to bake you cookies like other people had to do to get there shit fixed!! I kept sending emails and harassing, Charles would send someone to fix 1 thing at a time. They would take months to finally send someone over. Finally the warranty is up and now they pretty much told me to get lost. I'm stuck with multiple window screens that the workers broke fixing other things, I'm stuck with missing shelves in the master bedroom, i'm stuck with a broken Light fixture in the dinning, I'm stuck with a crazy Hollow sound like if there is missing insulation when you walk in the second floor.... Heads Up...Milestone your employees are giving your customers bad quality and the follow through to get things done suck!!! Other than that...Love my neighbors and we still talk about how you screwed us all..and we purchase in 2015.. This was just the icing on the cake...trust me I can write a freaking BOOK!!!!...THEY SUCK AND THEY ARE A TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!! read more

***UPDATE 1/25/17*** I am updating my review to 3 stars. The day after I wrote my review, the marketer for Milestone called (I forgot his name) and talked to my husband and sincerely apologized for the problems we experienced and said he would try to see what he could do. Building manager, Nick, contacted us last week to schedule the landscaping company to add grass to our fence line and they came out on 1/25 to do that. I appreciated Nick's efforts as well as the marketer....the two of them are the ONLY reason I am updating my review of Milestone to a more positive one. Both of them were kind and professional and understood why we were upset in the first place. My husband and I never had a problem with Nick and our only interaction with the marketer was a pleasant one as well. I believe Nick did as much as he could for us and that some things are out of his control. I still hope Milestone will be able to continue to improve in the future.*** This is our first house and a brand new house at that. Unfortunately, we had more problems than we would have liked. My husband emailed the sales team a couple weeks before I wrote this review, but nothing was done. The master bathroom sink had debris in the aerator so the water barely came out and we automatically had to replace that part on it. The other issues are receiving a used side door-there is a piece of an old alarm on it...(which isn't in bad condition, but it does bother me a little), no strike plate on front door, no caulking around the sink in guest bathroom, gap between grass and fence line, paint chips on door from it being closed with wet paint, closet door hits hangers when opening, trash in our yard the day we moved in. The biggest issue we had is the fence not being done until AFTER we signed our closing papers-this went from the "fence should be done by the end of November" according to our sales agent (who was a nice guy but we definitely felt he could have communicated better throughout this whole process). We drove by the house one hour before our closing appointment and not only was the fence not done, no one was even out here working on it. My lender said that our house was appraised without a fence, but she had to stop our closing meeting and make sure it was appraised without the fence. She said had the appraiser included the fence in his appraisal that we would need to delay our closing appointment until after the fence was complete as the loan would not be funded without it. Everyone in the room thought it was unbelievable that we put Ernest money down and went under contract on our house on 11/11 and when we closed on 12/20-it still was not done. We got the call from our lender at 1:30p date of closing that the loan had been funded and to contact Milestone for the keys. Well, our realtor could not reach Milestone until 3:30p to get our keys. She called them multiple times, apparently they were at a Holiday lunch. I am not sure I will do business with Milestone again in the future because of these things. Also, I'd like to know the names of the companies that did our grass and fence as I am certain I will never use either of them in the future-the fence company and the landscape company did a horrible job. The fence is not put together well and creaks and sways back and forth every time the wind blows even a little bit so we are already looking into options of reinforcing it. I even saw where 2 of our neighbors, one large panel on each of their new fences were laying flat on the ground. That is not comforting to me at all, I have dogs and it worries me they would escape if that happened. Throughout this Milestone offered no compensation or apology. We were ready to close, Milestone was not. The fence was finally complete when we got the keys. The quality of the foundation of our house and all the "big, important stuff" seems good. Like I said, I do think Milestone makes sturdy houses. But they really need need to pay attention to the small stuff. As a homebuyer, it is all important. Also, our mailboxes aren't complete so we have to go to the post office to get our mail. The post office said it could be another month. read more

Sales agent referred us to their preferred lender and asked us to start mortgage application process as precondition to start the contract process... As per Sales Agent advice we then provided all the personal and financial confidential details to their preferred lender and got our mortgage loan application process initiated.. Once they had our details the very next day received a call from Sales Agent to inform us that they have hiked prices and changed model for the selected lot.. this is outrageous tactic to decieve prospective customers. What builder would build an entire subdivision and then immediately upon completion, decide to build a giant industrial complex behind the very homes they just built? MILESTONE(watch the KXAN report below). Guess who they never informed of their plans to do this as they were building the subdivision? Hundreds of homeowners were scammed into buying homes by Milestone only to find out after the fact that their property values were about to tank because they are building a HUGE industrial complex right in the middle of their neighborhood. While selling the homes, they lied and told potential buyers that that 15-acre property next to their neighborhood would be used to build more homes. FALSE! Caution to those of you thinking about purchasing a home from Milestone, they are unethical and greedy and the exact opposite type of local builder we want in Austin. With this said, I feel like things were rushed and this is noticeable and was not only noticed by myself but by others that have been over. Not only is our house months and months late with no end in sight, we have been nickeled and dimes to death and repeatedly lied too on numerous occasions. The craftsmanship and the quality of the home so far is a joke...which is even funnier as it supposed to be a "luxury" home. Avoid this company at all costs. They've had their sub contractors steal things from my yard and not even attempt to make it better. Our gardeners don't come half of the time and when you need something taken care of, it's generally months before you even get a response. My home took almost a year to complete and they have had 5, yes FIVE, subcontractors quit on them during the process. I put a "good faith" deposit down on the purchase of a home from Milestone. I informed the sales team that there were potential obstacles to me completing the purchase based on my pending divorce. This was also communicated to the lender recommended by Milestone. I completed the application process and was approved but my attorney advised me to not complete the purchase and I then stopped the process and requested a refund of my deposit. Milestone has not acted in good faith. My deposit has not been returned. I have placed several calls and sent emails to Milestone HQ to no avail. No call backs or reply emails have been received. All the nice, happy reviews recently are because they are "buying" the home owners with gift cards. REALLY?! They need good press to sell houses?! I had delays after delays and we've gone through 5 construction supervisors in less than a year. They rushed my closing at the end of the year to make their numbers, so I was FORCED to close on an incomplete house because they threatened to keep my money saying I was "backing" out! They've fired two sales people putting the blame on them which isn't their fault. I've spent the last 6 months getting them to complete the work on my house. They continue to say everything that needs to be completed is the homeowners responsibility!... what?! How is it our responsibility when they didn't even do the work in the first place! I have had A/C issues, missed-match paint, cracks in the drywall, splattered mortar all over the patios, dead plants before we moved in that they refuse to replace, our windows were bowed, non stop garage door problems, and holes in the concrete. I could go on and on.... During this recent storm out in Bee Cave/Spicewood we found out we have 3 leaks! They want me to file a home insurance claim... I'm sorry but the house is only 6 months old and you're telling me the storm caused leaks in the fireplace, windows, and garage?! Without roof damage... NO it's faulty construction!!!!!! While looking for homes we came across arbor ridge and it seemed like a great community. We originally were going to rent an apartment as our lease was up Dec31st . Our friend decided she wanted to buy a house and originally wasn't interested in the community at first because of it's location. After a tour of the community she decided to use them and we decidied to go in it together and split the Mortgage. The finish date was promised in mid December. After many issues brought up and not a single one altered December rolled around and the insulation wasn't even completed. They informed us it would be at the end of December at the latest. A week later they call to say the house wasn't going to be able to be moved into until January due to the city of Austin not having enough water meters. (This was an issue because we were promised mid December and our lease was up) Well the construction stopped completely as the houses on the same street were being finished. WHY? The reason was because something failed inspection and all the workers were going back to Mexico for the holidays. But we were assured the drywall would be up that Friday. That was more than two weeks ago... I looked at the house yesterday and..... The insulation.... Still isn't done....! read more

Milestone has some great sales people working for them, unfortunately it took me a year to figure out how warranted those sales people are. These are line assembly homes, built in a rush by hard working men with a deadline to meet. Details are overlooked and quality is low; and to twist the knife, getting repairs done under warranty is like a lotto game. Trento is a beautiful community in a great location. It's a small quiet community with amenities of a much larger development. Many of the lots have beautiful hill country views. The homes are spectacular, and decorator choices are available for new builds. Andy was helpful throughout the process and the builder was very generous and understanding. My husband and I just closed on a home in the Eastwood at Riverside neighborhood. We had an amazing MilesStone representative James Carreon who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The process itself could not have been better. They paired us with an amazing lender who was just as fabulous as James. (Which is hard to do) The house was completed ahead of schedule and everything closed on time. We loved watching it be built from ground up. Any concerns we had along the way were addressed and fixed very quickly. This is our second home build so we are a bit more used to this process and I must say James sure made it easy on us. Thanks again for everything MileStone! You have an outstanding representative on your side that really made this experience a positive one. Oh, and the technology in the house is SPOT ON! Cheap homes with bad communication. Warranty is a joke. My first winter my heater didn't work. It was finally fixed at the end of winter and was their issue as a bad control module was installed. It worked the following winter. This winter it is not working again and they don't cover the warranty for a heater that worked 1 of 3 winters. read more

OK, final update on our experience. Sheila and Manny have worked very hard to ensure that each of our concerns were addressed and repaired to our satisfaction. We are once again confident in the quality and longevity of our new home. Would I buy a Milestone home again? Yes. I believe that many of our frustrations with the home and warranty repairs would have been the same with any other high volume home builder, and I believe that at this point Milestone has delivered the quality home that they promised. Would we have had a better experience with another high volume builder? I don't think so. With Austin's housing boom, I'm sure it is hard for sub-contractors to hire and keep enough good help. When you consider that, you can see how some work would be of lessor quality and need re-visiting. Unless you can choose a small custom home building company, this is your reality. In the end they corrected everything to our satisfaction. Would I recommend them? I don't know. I would advise that there will be some kinks that will need to be worked out. It happens. When these come up, be in the know about the scope of work needed. Question the sub contractors when they come to do the repair and don't assume they know what they are there to do. Plan to take an active role during your warranty period to ensure that your investment will stand the test of time. Update 10/15/18 - We have another roof leak. read more

The homes I'm in are built with same specs/designs as the others that were built 3 years prior. Also, some minor things like a squeeky floor and couple doors not closing the way i'd like. The experience I'm reviewing is specific to the Teravista sales office. My husband and I worked with Thomas extensively over a period of about a week, and we couldn't have been more thrilled with the level of service he provided. We have never purchased a new home, and had so many questions. Tom took his time to thoroughly answer all of our questions and concerns, and advocated on our behalf when it came time to price out all of the bells and whistles that we wanted. We felt like he truly wanted us to find the best solution for our specific situation, and definitely wasn't just trying to "sell" us. We met with him 4 times in the sales office/model home, and each time were greeted with the offer of wine or beer to enjoy while we pestered him with our bazillion questions (seriously, how much better can you really get?). In addition to our visits, he was extremely prompt in returning emails, and was really just amazing when it comes to customer service. All this effort on his part, and we ended up deciding not to make this purchase (no fault of Tom's or Milestone's!). When my husband walked into the office to deliver the bad news to Tom, he graciously conceded that he was just happy we had thoroughly thought about everything and were making the right decision for us, and even offered him a miller lite to go. You really don't get better than this, folks! I can't recommend Tom (and Milestone) enough. If you're looking for a new home, do yourself a favor and stop by his office in Teravista! read more

Just to start, my initial representative was Kacie, whom we signed the contract with. Construction manager was Brian; Area sales manager was Hiran and Greg was the Vice President of sales. Purchased a home by Milestone Community Builders. To start, I would like to say that a lot of interactions seemed to be well, initially, until the couple months before closing. We were told incorrect closing dates, and to get our 3rd party inspection completed on a particular date, completed on 1/13/2020. We got it completed, but the home wasn't even ready for the inspection. Inspection noted a lot of issues, including damaged roofing (torn and damaged shingles) and standing water present inside the gutter, in addition to debris and screws. Inspection report also noted incorrect insulation in the attic and lack of proper sealant present across the house. Unpainted lintels were also noted, which can facilitate the formation of rust. Some of the sealant around the garage trim was also lacking, allowing for water intrusion. A lot of gaps were observed in the mortar joints of the stone. There was even incomplete/damaged stucco on the front side of the house. A lot of places did not have proper closing of the gaps and INSECTS were seen in the holes during the initial home inspection. Lights were flickering, and proper covering of the pipes was also not done. This is just the start of the problems that existed. Then there was the BUYER WALKTHROUGH. Not the construction manager or his assistant showed up. A random person, whom I have never met, attempted to do the walkthrough. He had no idea about the house and could not even answer all of my questions. He didn't even bring enough tape and had to leave early, which was A WASTE OF TIME. Talked to Milestone, and they said everything will be done by the next inspection. 2 weeks after the first inspection 1/27/2020, inspection reported that 80% of the issues had not been fixed. Resent the report to the builder on the night of 1/27/2020, but they forced another buyer walkthrough on 1/29/2020, stating that the issues had been fixed. If they could not address the issues in 2 weeks, how would they address the issues in 1 day? Lo and behold, a lot of issues were not fixed and the Vice president of sales, Greg Miller, emailed saying "home is complete, we expect people to close, we don't move so a inspector can go back out." He said he would hold the buyer in default if closing didn't happen on 1/31/2020 at 2pm. They did not address majority of the issues during the home inspection. The house failed the city inspection 2 times before finally being approved by the City of Cedar Park. The unprofessional attitude of Milestone Community Builders was exemplary and the poor quality of workmanship is something that Milestone, in my opinion, promotes. When picking up the keys, house was dirty and not cleaned from inside. Garage door was dirty and so were the outside lights. A lot of issues since moving, paint mess-ups, damaged window screen, lights still flickering, one main light fixture hanging below the ceiling and not fully attached. Some of the areas I walk in are squeaking and making noise. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend these builders. Its just sad that they own a lot of the good locations in the Austin region, and one would figure that since this is not a national builder and more of a local one, they would care about their reputation; but honestly, I found them to be very unprofessional. I am embarrassed for Milestone Community Builders and Garrett Martin to see what kind of homes are being built; this is a lifelong investment process and they have not cared for the people that they build houses for. They will take out the complete joy that one has for buying a house. read more

Worst building experience ever, and I've had 2. Our house was rushed to meet their end of year deadline and nothing worked. We had 2 tubs that were leaking, 4 doors that could not close on their own, no walk through as to how to use our appliances, fire place and irrigation system, no screens on any of our windows, and no backyard fence for 2 weeks after moving in. Here is the kicker, as it's been getting cold here in Leander, we decided to start up the fireplace for the first time. 10 minutes later our house was engulfed in smoke. Fire department came 7 minutes later to inform us the fireplace flue was broken and the gas nob was also broken leaking gas in to our entire living room. Case in point, Milestone cares about their bottom line, not the buyer. Go with Centex or anyone else. We've built with them before and have had an amazing experience. read more

I originally posted a good review, but the longer things carry on, the more I realize that while Milestone is great at building and selling decent houses very quickly, that's about all they're good at. They build and sell so fast they seem to have no time to keep anything else organized, which results in HUGE problems for the homeowners when it comes to property taxes, and HOA management issues. For a few examples: 1) They didn't split the property into individual parcels in time for the county to assess property taxes for the first year, so many people ended up paying $15,000 worth of property taxes out of their escrow accounts, causing some people to nearly go into default on their mortgages. 2) They didn't setup mailing addresses soon enough, so for a while nobody living here had a mailbox, and even after we did, our addresses wouldn't validate with the USPS. Just imagine how hard it is to get all your services and mail adjustments setup when your new address doesn't validate with USPS! 3) There is unfinished landscaping in the center of our community that has been there since we moved in, even though our section of the community is otherwise totally completed, and everyone is moved in. Until recently, it was filled with trash and debris, so a few of us decided to take it upon ourselves to clean it up. But the pathway is still unfinished. 5) Almost everyone is moved into this gated community and there are still holes in the fence where people could easily sneak in. (I realize that having a fence won't stop a determined thief, but having a completed fence does act as a significant deterrent according to local law enforcement ... having a half completed fence doesn't!) 4) They were supposed to hold an Annual meeting for the HOA to elect a homeowner to the board of directors, which would at least alleviate SOME of the HOA management troubles, but the meeting was canceled and hasn't been rescheduled after more than a month. read more

I'm moving to Arbor Ridge. The houses stand out, they feel Austin groovy, more than any reasonably priced new construction you'll find out there. Wait til you meet Luis Montejano, the MileStone onsite representative. He gets it. You know he's in your corner from the git. Straightforward communicator, exacting detail, goes over the paperwork til even I can follow, and gets excited about design, is with you on how you want your house to look. I believe him when he says they can make it happen. My heart turned over when he said, "We don't build houses, we build communities, we are a community builder." So am I. You can see they mean it when you look at the Arbor Ridge website, there's an emphasis on place and civic engagement. Dove Springs is a place that needs and welcomes civic involvement. I can't wait to get started. The process is about as smooth as an overwhelming transaction can be, but unless you're a bizness savvy, aggro self-advocate who can effectively negotiate the inevitable vagaries I recommend getting a bull dog real estate agent to serve as your proxy. Let him handle the day to day setbacks and calamities, that's what they're there for. If you like things to be easy on your mind it's the only way to go.Thanks to my realtor I can go blissfully unaware of what's happening with my contract for hours. Overall I'm having a good experience. It would be better if a pool, sauna, refrigerator, window treatments and ceiling fans were part of the package but they're going to take care of the yardwork and you can't have everything. read more

Horrible since the start!! Yeah it was easy to buy our home and we put zero money down only with the help of certain loans we were eligible for. This building company is awful, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!! First house, sure. To settle down and live forever, absolutely not. Our house wasn't done when it was time for us to close. The blue tape was still up, the builders assistant told us it was a holiday weekend and he wasn't able to get them out. Should of been my first clue and I should of refused to sigh until my list of things was taken care of. Almost 2 years later we're still trying to get them to fix things that are messed up. Our AC unit sits on cinder blocks instead of a concrete slab. It took 3 months to get someone out to paint. We went ahead and closed after we were assured by the builders assistant that it would get taken care of. Wrong! We had our driveway repaired (finally) and the idiots left the grass all messed up on the sides so we had them send someone to fix it, finally a month later they sent someone to install a few grass pallets. Grass is completely dead. It's like a bad joke. Thanks a lot guys. The list goes on and on of how bad Milestone is. Once the home is closed on they could give a fuck. Milestone Builders is the worst builder in Austin. We bought a home at Whitestone Landing community. When buying the home, we were promised a lot of things by the salesperson Krystal Sweeney. They turned out to be lies. The finish and quality of the home is terrible. The warranty issues have never been addressed after numerous phone calls to the number given to us. We regret buying our home and can't wait to sell it and move on. Whenever we reached out to Krystal For help sorting out our issues she was very rude and ended the call abruptly. Krystal told us this is a single family home. Turns out this is a condominium regime-detached condos. MileStone Builders are only concerned about selling their homes and getting their money. They sweet talk you into closing and give you all incentives to sign. Once we signed they kept pushing out the closing dates citing construction delays. Our closing date was pushed out by 2 months. They almost threatened me when we decided to use an outside lender instead of their preferred lender. The outside lender was giving us a much better interest rate and closing costs breakup. The MileStone lender was giving us a lot of extra and hidden closing costs. I would never recommend buying a house with MileStone. They are a builder without ethics. read more

I love my home but I don't like Milestone! If you are being referred by a friend, make sure you get it in writing that they will give them the $1,000 referral credit. We bought a home after a referral from a friend and they refused to pay up on the referral credit. Also, the one year warranty is a joke. Make sure you get everything you need taken care of before you close on your home. The builder made it seem like if anything was wrong prior to closing, the warranty would take care of it, so we should just go ahead and close on our home. Getting them to fix anything has been like pulling teeth. They will not reinforce your fence after closing, so make sure your fence is in good shape. We've had several neighbors have their fence blow over (even prior to the recent storms). read more

I built my home at the Eastwood on Riverside. I chose this neighborhood because it's very near downtown (less than 10 minutes to Rainey) and close to the airport (about a 6 minute drive in the morning). I travel a lot and need to be close to the airport. Living downtown made me want to find a home close to it. It was my first time building and I have to say the process was pretty smooth. Along with the weekly email updates and photos, I popped in at different times of the day and was pleased to see the work in progress. I'm pleased to see that this is an active, dog friendly neighborhood and I've already made friends with folks on my block. It's a nice community and it feels like everyone looks out for each other, which is what I wanted after living in an apartment. read more

Since my first review I have experienced NUMEROUS issues with the quality of work done with this builder. From sub-par interior work (painters were by far the worse I have ever seen, carpenters cut too short in some areas and decided to fill with caulk) to even worse exterior issues (fence was only 1 1/2 years old and fell down, they used landscape timbers and did not dig deep enough or use enough concrete; irrigation system doesn't work half the time, they struck a deal with the city of Austin in order to build more condos by giving up parking-only 10-15 guest parking spaces in the entire community). I would NEVER purchase another Milestone home...buyer beware! read more

We moved into our Milestone home almost 2 years ago, we had a very rocky start, several issues came up and have been somewhat disappointed with Milestone's response. We had a pluming issue, a leaking issue, and insulation issue, a refrigerator issue, all within the first year and a half of moving in. They take forever to get back with any issues. HOWEVER, they eventually respond and address the issues. Everyone we deal with is nice. They do have several communities and many houses under construction, so one must be understanding. I do love our house and slowly but surely we are making it better and better. If anything, now I have issues with our HOA who do take forever to get stuff done in our community. Overall, be prepared for some setbacks, although maybe now everything may run more smoothly than when we moved in. Thanks, Lucia T read more

Milestone. Wow. So many silly problems that could have been fixed by either A. Caring about your product, or B. Caring about your Customer, and C. Making sure that the developer, builder, sales team, and anyone else have the same information as each other. If I had multiple departments of people working on the same project and NONE of them had accurate information, I would fire the person responsible for bridging the gap between people. Your Warranty team is worthless. Argumentative, rude, stand-offish, slackers who insist that they do good work, and say DIFFERENT THINGS ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEMS every time. You have to yell and scream to get them to address anything. Getting them to do things that bring your house into proper building or inspecting code takes months. Months. Seriously. Your sales staff are generally pretty nice and want to do a good job. Support them so they can warn people about what a horrible company you are. If you buy a milestone house, get your house inspected by a private inspector before you sign. If you can't have it inspected before signing, walk away and spend an extra $10k+ on quality. read more

Having purchased a Milestone house recently, I've been less than impressed by their performance on warranty issues. They seem to lose track of the items I have repeatedly sent in which requires me to stay after them instead of being able to rely on their integrity to resolve defects and effect repairs in a timely manner. Some things have been handled but the latest hiccup really took the prize. The front bedroom will not cool properly when the door is closed - such as when guests are staying in the room and close the door for privacy and rest. The issue according to the HVAC tech that came to check it out is that there is no air return in the room. Closing the door essentially causes the room to get pressurized when the AC runs which defeats air circulation. Per the HVAC tech putting in returns is common with other builders. Milestone however refused to provide it and gave us the opportunity to pay to have it put in. Thank you Milestone. read more

We had a good experience with Milestone Builders at Whitestone Landing. Initially Larry and then Andy helped us through the whole process. The entire experience for a first time buyer was good. **** Don't but in Meadow of Shadow Creek in Buda **** We bought a house in the Meadows of Shadow creek last year and we should of went with a builder who cares about quality. We have nothing but problems with the paper fence that put up. Every time it storms or we have a windy day the 6 inches of concert they laid down to adhere the polls to the ground make the polls break in half and our fence comes out. The paint job in the house was half assed and even we reported it on our final walk trough little was done to change it. The paint wipes off the wall like it is caulk. The grass they lay down didn't even make it a month even though we water it regularly and it never attached to the top soil. I am not impressed by the quality they provided. Oh and ps. If they say it has a green belt view. It a lie. They just can't sell the land where the huge power lines run across the neighborhood. read more

I have owned a coop and single family home. The purchase and mortgage experience of my condo was the most efficient and painless experience I have ever had. I have had more difficult times renting and leasing apartments. I'll just copy an excerpt from an email I sent to Dana and Nelleen a few weeks ago. I am just enjoying it to the utmost and I am extremely fortunate to have the wonderful neighbors sharing the building and surrounding area. Thanksgiving was the first time I was excited to prepare and cook the family dinner and this Christmas eve will be the first time I've held an open house for more than 30 years. Dana, if you can, thank that young woman at the Cypress Creek sales office she was extremely helpful and genuinely seemed concerned about my issue. (This was not with Milestone or Mission Mortgage, by the way, but was with the Texas Department of Housing) Mission Mortgage and Milestone Builders ROCK!" If you are considering purchasing a residence I would highly recommend putting a visit to any of the Milestone sites on your list. You will be pleasantly surprised with the experience. No high pressure tactics, no rushing through the process and should you choose one of their home sites you will be treated with same amount of enthusiasm after your purchase decision as you were the first time you visited. The first part of this review was written shortly after I purchased my condo in 2013. In March 2015 I had a water disaster in my condo. My contractor had to contact Milestone to get replacement supplies to rebuild my home. Milestone did not hesitate to assist my contractor and helped me to restore my home with the original upgrades I had chosen. Again I say Milestone Rocks. read more
