Its a poorly run clinic however the therapist are very good. The office staff don't have it together and are extremely bad communicators.

Ask the Community - Milestone Pediatric Therapy

    Do you do play therapy?

hi Rhami! Thank you for your question. Our OT,PT, and Speech Therapists use play therapy within their sessions regularly. We don't have a psychologist on staff but our team is very play based in their approach :)

Do you accept UnitedHealthcare? Also, do you provide in home sessions?

Hi! We take United healthcare as out-of-network and we provide a super-bill for services. We do in-home PT and OT depending on availability (Currently we are on a wait list, but things are always changing!). Thanks for your question!

Do you take Anthem Blue Cross?

Hi Paul, thank you for your question. At this time we do not take Anthem Blue Cross. We do have private payment options if you are interested. Please contact our front office at 619.578.2232 and they would be happy to help. :)

    Do you take Cigna?

Hi Sarah, thank you for your question. At this time we do not take Cigna. We do have private payment options if you are interested. Please contact our front office at 619.578.2232 and they would be happy to help. :)

Is there a lot of therapist turnover & do they take Tricare?

Hi Cindy! Thanks for your question! Yes we take Tricare!…

What really sets Gina apart is her patient-led approach. She meets my son where he is and adjusts each session based on his needs in the moment. Gina is incredibly compassionate, sweet, and attentive to cues. When my son becomes overwhelmed and needs space--sometimes even needing to step into a quiet corner--Gina recognizes this right away and adapts without pressure. That flexibility and understanding helped her build real trust with him. Because Gina listens, observes, and adjusts so thoughtfully, our son feels safe and respected during sessions, and that has made a huge difference in his progress. She is a fantastic representative of Radiant Kids Therapy, and I highly recommend her to any family looking for a caring, patient, and child-centered speech therapist.

I should also add that I've been to many OT centers and some are run in a very "mill"/"factory" way where the kids are pushed through. I did not get that feel here.

One of the most concerning issues is the lack of communication and transparency. Employees often receive no notice when clients cancel sessions, resulting in wasted trips and unpaid time. In such cases, you're either told to clean the facility (an unreasonable expectation outside the role of a Behavior Technician) or you're abruptly reassigned to cover another BT's session without context or consent. The pay is among the lowest in the ABA field, especially when weighed against the emotional and physical demands of the job. The work environment is poorly maintained, with cleanliness being a recurring problem. The facility does NOT look like those posted online. The children's bathrooms and common areas are often unsanitary, raising valid concerns about hygiene, safety, and the general quality of care. A particularly troubling practice is the use of personal items like wipes brought in for one child that get used on other children, without the caregiver's knowledge. Additionally, BTs are often left in the dark about health-related issues like lice until after the situation is already "handled," which puts both staff and other clients at risk. Unsurprisingly, the company suffers from a very high turnover rate, which reflects the broader issues within the organization and further destabilizes the workplace. Overall, they show little regard for employee well-being, professional development, or proper client care. Even by looking at the reviews the only 5 star reviews are for speech therapists, not from the work being done!

Lauren was Luca's therapist even before she joined your practice, and we continued with her there. As Luca is now 4-years-old and I've had the chance to interact with numerous physicians, caretakers, therapists and professionals related to his overall care, I can say with confidence that I am in awe of Lauren. Lauren is a passionate, dedicated and energetic therapist. She showed up to each and every session in our home ready and focused on Luca. She cared very deeply about Luca's progress and went above and beyond to ensure he had every chance to access speech, language and develop to his maximum potential. I appreciated her creative approach to "learn" what Luca liked and disliked, and how she could bring the best out of him. She tailored her activities and approach to Luca's interests and although my nonverbal son is difficult at times to understand from first glance, Lauren successfully navigated their communication styles and was able to have a relationship with Luca. Lauren not only taught Luca, but she also educated my husband and myself, in addition to our nurses and other caretakers to ensure we all had access to learning Luca's best options and what opportunities there are for us all as we continue down this path. She was patient, persistent and opened our eyes to possibilities we would never have known. As a mom, I felt supported fully by Lauren and knew she truly loved my son. That went far beyond any level of care I could ever have asked for - I don't often leave "reviews" but I feel obligated to share how much of a true difference Lauren has made in our lives.

The sessions are advertised as 30 minutes, but in reality they feel much shorter. The therapist usually spends the first 5-10 minutes letting our son play, then about 15 minutes on actual therapy, and the last 10 minutes cleaning up and wrapping up the session. When I called to ask about it, the person I spoke with said it's because insurance only allows them to bill for 15 minutes of therapy. It's frustrating to pay so much when only about 15 minutes of the appointment is actual therapy time. Overall, we were not impressed and ultimately decided to pull our son out.

She has made so much progress with my son's speech. Chris and everyone here are very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. These sessions not only have helped my son but also helped me with being a better primary caregiver for my son. It's really just from observing what work or doesn't work with my son during sessions and by asking questions to Chris and his team. One of the things that these sessions help me with is having a better understanding of my son's physical needs and being a better problem solver.
