The Neurosurgeon wanted to do more surgery to try and relive the symptoms. A nerve conductive study gave a diagnosis of Carpal Tunnel. I asked for a referral to PT before considering another surgery. At 74, surgery risks increase. My Physical therapist was Pablo Pelayo. After my initial interview, we both agreed that my symptoms were not typical of Carpal Tunnel. After 5 visits, I was elated to find I was getting sensation back in my fingers. This was HUGE!!. After more than a year I finally got sensation back, without surgery. Pablo's approach was phenomenal. We continued to work for a total of 16 visits. Now I have 75-80% feeling and tactile sensation back. I could not be more appreciative or grateful for having the full use of my right hand again. Pablo and the entire staff at PRN La Mesa, treat all their patients with dignity, respect and genuine concern for getting the best possible results.

When I first arrived at her practice, I was in such severe pain that I was walking with a cane. Over time, she has provided me with valuable information, exercises, and support in addition to treatments that alleviate the pain. After a course of treatment, taking her advice and doing my exercises, I'm able to walk 4 miles a day on my treadmill! I now return to her whenever I feel as if I need a 'tune up". Whenever I do contact Beth's office, her assistant Sheri bends over backwards to work me into the schedule. In addition to scheduling, Sheri also goes above and beyond to negotiate with my health insurance coverage on my behalf. Everyone associated with the practice makes me feel like I'm a part of the family. Beth has a wonderful, empathetic approach that makes me look forward to seeing her, and I know that I will always leave feeling significantly better than when I arrived. She has also taught me a lot about anatomy and how pain often develops in one part of the body but appears in a different location. The more I understand about my body, the better I can take care of it. I can honestly say that Beth has made a significant difference in the quality of my life, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an expert physical therapist. She did for me what chiropractors, acupuncturists and other physical therapists couldn't.

Physical therapist at the hospital was not good at all, they would walk in demand I sat up, one even tried to rough arm me to keep me up. Then as I needed more time to heal, I was transferred to la mesa healthcare, I was scared, never had to be in a trained nursing facility. I have to say that first night I was terrified (drug induced) my day 1, nightmares over. The staff treated me with great dignity and concern for me, yes it was about me, and my needs. I was not happy to be anywhere but home, as I was told by my surgeon should be the norm. I was sharing a room, but my roommate an elderly gentleman was so nice. Even he would get up in the morning go with his walker to the bathroom, bringing back a clean, warm wash cloth for me to freshen up. Expectations were set for my stay, upsetting thinking it would be two weeks. Then came physical therapy, my first time my therapist understood my pain and did some in bed therapy. Then came Chris, my guardian angel physical therapist, he worked nearly 45 minutes getting knots out of my neck and shoulders. The entire team of physical and occupational therapists were amazing, within 5 days I was on my way home they had me up and walking and exercising in the gym. I am home now, I can't thank all the staff at la mesa healthcare enough. You pulled me out of my very scary nightmares state, that I thought would never end. I have to say even the food was very good. The kitchen staff cater to everyone's individual needs. Kudos to you all, my heart felt thanks always, when I'm fully recovered, I will be back to thank you all in person. 5 stars earned without question. Thank you, Je vous remercie, Gracias, Daniel, Gracie, in every language I want to say, thank you gang.

When I arrived to my appointment, I hadn't even had a moment to consider what I wanted out of my massage because life has been busy and I had been rushing around all morning. Elise was so understanding and open to letting me guide her as she started the massage. I mentioned I had been struggling with tightness in my jaw from TMJ - so she said she would do full body and save enough time to focus on that. She's the only person who's ever kept the perfect amount of pressure through the entire experience. For the last (approx) 15-20 minutes she did intraoral massage and let me tell you - I feel like I floated out of her office that day. I tried to explain something to him and he doesn't wanna listen that's why I don't wanna listen because I tried to explain something about the nustep bike that they was missing or broken part. The spike was sticking out and it will hurt someone and him, he told me to ass remark, about and he very argumentative and he doesn't wanna listen to his client and I know how you something and he tell me I don't even know how and and I don't like that because the safety clip won't protect you want the clip help with someone else that needs I just tired of explaining myself to my him doesn't wanna listen to his patient and that way I had to speak to someone else to do his job, not right for anybody to get hurt with any machine. He told me you have a week if you don't listen we can't work together I think that is wrong he is doing to his client he have to listen to his client because he telling me how to use a treadmill, I know how to use a treadmill not stupid it make me overwhelmed, and it hurt my feelings to get very over heated over a simple conversation with Miguel. My suggestion is you need to put a sign up for people that needs it and not for the other people that already know how to use the machine , or have more be around to make sure something don't happen, I understand it for special needs that can't used the machine properly and that they need someone. Miguel needs to be train how to work with my brother and someone that almost have the same problem as him. He doesn't understand, how to handle him because that why I record a video and a picture of my brother is not doing what is supposed to doing. Supposed to be safe where I am at, sometimes I am not safe in challenge center because something is broken or not working properly, you guys should put a signs up something is not working put it out of order
