My daughter received Speech Therapy for expressive speech delay through early start. The few therapists we've worked with were all wonderful. BEWARE, SCAMMERS! Extremely disappointing experience with this Occupational Therapy company. After scheduling an evaluation for my child, I was later sent a bill even though no meaningful services were provided. The therapist who was sent did not demonstrate the skills or experience necessary to work with autistic children, which made the entire visit ineffective. Families seeking support for autistic children deserve providers who are transparent, appropriately trained, and thoughtful in how they assess and match therapists to clients. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. To make matters worse, after the very first session the company cancelled services, stating that my son would benefit from ABA instead of OT. They sent me a follow up email saying that the reason was due to aggressive behavior which is a total LIE as he did not demonstrate aggression at all at any time (I have cameras at home that prove this). If that was their clinical opinion, that they cannot handle autistic children, that should have been determined during intake or communicated clearly before sending a therapist out. Instead, we were left feeling like our time and money was wasted. What is especially frustrating is receiving an invoice ($500) despite the fact that services were essentially discontinued immediately and no ongoing therapy was provided. I have to pay out of pocket since insurance won't cover it.Billing families under these circumstances is extremely questionable. This company is a complete SCAM!! BEWARE!! read more

We were referred to Radiant Kids through San Diego Regional Center and were extremely lucky to be matched to speech language pathologist Dani. Our child was very shy at the beginning, but after some time, our child began getting excited when it was time for our weekly session with Dani, and our child would run to sit on the rug in anticipation of fun new activities. Dani was very flexible with the structure of each session, always being alert to our child's interests and moods that day. If our child didn't want to play with a toy or wasn't interested in a game, Dani always had another activity to pivot to. I was very impressed with Dani's patience and enthusiasm. I was also appreciative of Dani's support of us -- the parents. Some days, Dani would ask us if our child had any progress updates, and I would struggle to think if anything new to report and Dani would find something new to praise our child for. Any time I felt like I was failing our child in some way (for example, by not spending enough time practicing sign language or practicing pronunciation), Dani was always reassuring and encouraging. Thanks to Dani's help, our child went from speaking only three words to ~250 words in only a 12 month span, and her language comprehensive is even more vast than that. Additionally, thanks to Dani, I felt equipped with tools to help my child as well. I am so grateful we had Dani's help and highly recommend her to other parents who have a little one who just needs a little help with speech/language development. read more

My daughter is 2.5 years old and has been receiving PT for over 1 year and OT for over 2 months through Radiant Kids Therapy. Due to her medical condition and a Hickman line and later, a port in her abdomen for over a year, she was significantly weaker in her lower body, having difficulty with walking independently. We noticed our daughter wasn't catching up with her speech development around 18 months and had discussed with our pediatrician, she told us to wait it out. At 2 years old, we still had not seen much improvement and our pediatrician finally agreed that maybe speech therapy would help. At the recommendation of our pediatrician, we got started on the process of getting enrolled into the Early Start Program with the San Diego Regional Center. After assessments and a "confirmed" speech delay, the Regional Center approved speech therapy and our case worker got us started with Radiant Kids Therapy. Kali was the SLP assigned to us and from the first day she clicked with my daughter (and myself!). Over the course of 10 months we saw drastic improvement with my daughter. She started at 2 years old with less than 10 words, often forgetting words she had previously said, couldn't accurately say Mama or Dada to the right person and having frustrated outburst/meltdowns when she couldn't be understood or couldn't accurately portray her needs to us. Kali taught us the strategies to help teach our daughter and by the time my daughter turned 3 (when the early start program ends) she had around 200+ words, she's singing songs (mostly understandable), asking what things are, knows all her colors, can count to 15, recites ABCs, etc. We've seen her turn into such a chatterbox and I honestly think the results we had were because of Kali's extensive knowledge, care and patience with our daughter (and with us!). Throughout our 10 months using Radiant, the office staff was helpful if we needed anything. We met several other SLP's that did "ride alongs" with Kali and we honestly can't say enough good things about everyone at Radiant. We looked into continuing on with Radiant through insurance and out of pocket and ultimately decided our daughter had made so much progress that we (and our doctor) didn't think it was necessary to stay in speech therapy for now. If that changes in the future and we stop seeing growth in her language development, Radiant will be the first place we call. To say that the services we received were "great" or "outstanding" would be an absolute understatement. The services we received profoundly changed my daughter's and our lives in the most amazing way. I have no doubt she will continue to grow and learn and we are able to help her develop her language skills through the strategies we learned. We will forever be grateful to Kali and Radiant Kids Therapy. read more

Their customer service/staff particularly Amber is very accomodating and responsive. She has helped me a lot in finding a therapist available for my daughter and they are very quick with the processing too in order for the sessions to start. I am very happy with their therapists too because they are all very nice and genuine. I love Elizabeth and Jisel because you can really tell that they do their work with passion and care not just doing it for the sake of just being a therapist rather I can feel that they do care when they do the sessions with my daughter. And I can tell my daughter enjoys her sessions with them. Never had issues with any of them. We absolutely loved Miss Laura and Miss Julia. What a great experience! What a fantastic progress. We first started seeing Miss Laura when we realized that our then 15 month old son was very very behind in his speech development. After 1.5 years or so working with Radiant Speech he was ahead of his peers speech-wise and very outgoing. While as a 1 year old he was pretty much mute and so very frustrated about his lack of ability to express his needs (apart from crying). Miss Laura was so accommodating that not only did she work with my speech delayed son but also with his "non delayed" twin brother (just because he was there and wanted to be a part of the "action"). My shy and mute 1 year old was very afraid of the therapy during the first session but grew to absolutely adore our speech therapist to the point where she became his favorite person and her visits were a cause for celebration. Ashleigh C. is the best OT. The best. Hands down. She cares so much about your kid and will go above and beyond to help him/her progress. For example, She knows my kid likes sensory bins and has made it a point to make a new themed sensory bin every week for him. Multiple times she was able to help identify big and complex issues we were going through and found the best ways to navigate them. There's not enough room to write why she's so amazing but if you are a parent who wants to learn how you can help your kid, wants to do everything you can for your kid and wants an advocate- Ashleigh is perfect fit. Multiple times we've had to navigate complex issues and she went above and beyond walking me through it, explaining our options, providing critical supportive information/research/data as to why this is important and then worked with me on multiple different plans to address the issues. She was spot on every single time. She has a very strong background in OT and really knows what she's talking about. Bonus: she is probably the best product recommender I've ever met. My daughter was 15 months old when she started getting in home therapies through SD Regional Center. She was getting OT with Radiant Kids Therapy and has worked with Jackie for about 8 months. Jackie is a wonderful person, very patient and compassionate. She's always ready to listen to any concerns that I have with my daughter. She's very knowledgeable and informative I have learned a lot of techniques and strategies from her on how to help my daughter continue to develop her skills. She always comes prepared with fun and creative activities that kept my child engaged during their session. They met once a week for an hour for 8 months straight (we moved and had to pause services) and I have seen a lot of improvements on my daughter's fine motor skills and social skills - She started with not making eye contact, not responding to her name, doesn't say Hi or Bye, sensitive to anything new to touch and that completely changed in just a few months of OT. She's now more sociable and independent, likes to feed herself using spoon/fork, brush her teeth, wants to dress up and put on socks/shoes, likes to paint and scribble. She used to not like playing outside because of sensory sensitivity to sand, grass or just concrete and now she has made a lot of progress and started to play outdoors. Jackie has helped my child and my family so much. We'll always be grateful for the the help and care! It is absolutely your decision as a business owner to not provide 1 hour of services for the flat rate that the insurance pays. There are many other companies out there that do provide a full hour for that flat rate, since they know it is what the special needs children require in order for them to improve their conditions. The way you guys say I could just pick a different company to provide these services is absurd. As I explained (and you guys should know), it's up to my insurance company and out of my hands completely, we can only go where they send us/authorize us to go. I find your defamatory statements about me very ironic... being how you had an attorney send me a cease and desist letter and threatened to sue me if I didn't stop publicly speaking out against your company (which is what motivated me to leave all these reviews btw). And I was making completely factual statements!! You can't try to lie and say I'm lying when I'm copying and pasting your own employees words that they sent to me. LOL you declaring my demand (for my children to have the full hour of services that they were assessed as needing) as an unreasonable demand really only proves my point/opinion. Your claims about my actions are ludicrously false, and paired with the fact that you can't realize that attorney was not a threat to you but was actually involved PURELY to help you get paid more by my insurance company, lets me know that further conversations aren't worth my time. read more
