I love Milestones Oakville as it has a very nice contemporary atmosphere with beautiful furniture, spacious patio and great bar that extends to the covered patio in summertime. The staff are very friendly and attentive. And they make sure to create a vibrant atmosphere for guests to enjoy their meals. They also have a semi-private dining table for larger groups. We enjoyed our brunch on a snowy day and are certain that this won't be our last time here. We ordered "Avocado Toast", "Chicken N' Waffles" and "Wagyu Beef Shakshuka". We paired our meal either coffee and latte and also enjoyed their delicious and beautiful Bellini with our brunch. Our food was fresh and delicious; perfectly seasoned and cooked. It's a shame that they actually have multiple vegan options and most of them have mushrooms in them. It defeats the purpose of having a variety of options if they have the same ingredients. Even the Green Curry says "mixed vegetables" and it was almost all mushrooms as the vegetables in it. Milestones Oakville - Usually we enjoy the food here. This time however the food was very late. Compensation not so fitting. (Manager served us 6 tiny pieces of toast - for 4 of us.) Finally the dinner arrived - the salads were soggy, and the fries totally dried out and cold. (the 2 little fish tacos were great ). We did end up taking one dessert home and the next day it was delicious - but we would have been more happy to get one dinner free. Staff was not attentive. When called Manager stated my food sitting for over an hour and when I asked if it would be refired he said no ??? Went to Milestones for our Xmas dinner and what a treat! We started with appetizers to share such as the Calamari, Spinach and Artichoke Dip to name a few. These were delicious and wowed the group. I ordered the Sirloin with Parmesan Garlic Fries for my entree and the steak was cooked to perfection and so delicious. I really enjoyed this dining experience so much that I returned a few days later with a friend to have dinner. During this time while we're all hangry, no table bread or complimentary appetizers were offered. I decided to try something new during my last visit and I was quite happy with my selection. I usually have the burger or the red thai however I tried the seaside salad this time. Very tasty, great portion and the grilled salmon and shrimps made up the protein. My guests enjoyed their meal as well. Service was attentive without disrupting our meeting. Nice clean place... we came in with family around 530 for dinner. Thinking we arrived before dinner rush... we still didn't make it out of restaurant until 730 almost 8. Service was good but slow service from the kitchen. We got a complementary chip because of the delay. No dip. Food was nicely served. If you are on diet, then definitely good portion. Both kids meals and adult main dishes are so small for us. Kids meal salmon was so small with big portion of white rice and seems old or not fully cooked. Not worth 9$. Adult pasta size is same as kids portion. Fish taco was good but wish they put at least enough to cover every bite. Friday Night date night finds us here at Milestones catching a bite to eat before we catch the latest Marvel comics movie. Ordered the roasted beet and goat cheese salad with shrimp and the steak frites. Virgin Caesar was a pretty and tasty drink! Beet salad was fresh greens, 2 kinds of roasted beets, goat cheese, and quinoa tossed lightly in a dressing with 2 spears of shrimp. Delicious and hit the spot. Steak frites was also good. Steak was cooked perfectly although came pre sliced which seems weird. Fries were crispy and delish. Service was friendly and prompt. Having said that, I've been going to Milestones for years and now nothing has changed. I realize that you're a chain, and easier said than done but it's time to spice up your menu a bit and stay current! Experiment with some new flavours for the foodies! Visited Milestones Burloak last night, the restaurant was almost empty maybe 20% capacity, our server was very good, however the overall experience was poor. Ordered steak and veggies, ordered steak medium. The food came out together, and unfortunately my steak was very rare. Sent it back and I said just cook it a bit longer.We ordered sides that were on my plate, they must have dumped my entire plate and started again. My party all finished their meals when they finally brought back a new steak, less the sides Almost 45 minutes later. I could understand if there was full capacity or any large parties to delay my meal, but most people were in the bar eating wings burgers and nachos watching the big game. So a steak shouldn't take that long to recook. With a place with only 20% capacity the manager should have been walking around checking on the few guest they had. Manager was nowhere to be seen. When the bill came nothing was adjusted and nothing was said to apologize for the meal. Will I be returning to Milestones any time soon? No I will be spending my money at establishments that care about the service they provide their customers. read more

My sister and her family took me here for lunch over the weekend. The food was pretty good. I had the Garden Burger (veggie) with the spring salad and both of them had very good flavour. I loved the avocado with the burger. I think they may have been short a server or something because it took close to 35 minutes for our food to come out, even coffee took 10 minutes and getting a kids menu/crayons took 5 minutes as well. Usually I would be quite upset at this, especially for a chain restaurant where you expect to be served in 15 minutes or less (or at most 20 minutes), however the manager was very apologetic and ended up giving us more than 50% off the bill plus an additional $15 off (my sister had a coupon, but he said he would just take it off and gave her back the coupon). However, things happen, maybe it was a new server, maybe they were short, but if you apologize and correct your mistakes, then I'm okay with it. read more

We came to the area to grab a meal before a movie, at a Mexican restaurant which got good reviews on-line. However, when we turned onto Wyecroft we saw the Silvercity and then the Milestones behind it! I thought we had died and gone to heaven. We've always loved Milestones, and this was no exception. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the cold welcome we got, or didn't get as it were. The hostess just stood there and looked at us. I know it was Valentines Day, and they assumed that we had reserved, but they didn't even welcome us to their establishment. Moving on to the most important part, the food. They had a special Valentines menu with App, Main, and Dessert. All for $50 per couple. Food was amazing! Definitely will go back, and to any other Milestones as well. read more

We have been coming here at least 15 times a year for the last 8 years we've lived in the area. The staff is a bit older than most restaurants therefore for us the service has been mature and mistake free. There are a small number of foods we stick to when we come so I can't recommend many other than the goat cheese appetizer which is excellent and the salads are great. This place isn't really for families with young children. The customers are usually a bit older and the prices higher than average. I've found that if a restaurant has young staff and lower prices the food isn't as good and service below par in my experience anyway. I think that after coming here many many times without any complaints is a blessing indeed! We go to many other restaurants also but with a less favourable experience. read more

Went here on a Saturday to celebrate parent's anniversary, so it was very hard finding a parking spot. Lighting was dark, you instagramers won't be able to take a nice shot of your food. We had to wait a little bit even though we made reservations. Hence the 4 stars. Other than all that I was insanely pleased with the service and food. The waiters were pleasant, more than helpful. (Ours was training a new guy). Best service I've had at a restaurant in a long time. It felt like they actually cared about us. For dinner I had the Harissa chicken($22). It was perfectly cooked and spiced. I thoroughly enjoyed the quinoa. Not much of a fan of the type of veggies they paired it with. At the end of the night the waiter surprised all of us with a nice little dessert platter with a sparkler free of charge for our parents anniversary. We didn't even secretly ask for it! Attended an after-christening event/luncheon here yesterday (Sunday, Oct. 28th, 2012) with a large party of guests (50+), including a number of small children. Staff were extremely courteous/efficient and food was excellent across the board. We were most impressed by the calm, steady and attentive staff who ensured that everyone in our party, children included were attended to in a remarkably friendly and professional manner. Last night me and my family decided to try milestones on wyecroft Rd. In Oakville. We thought that it would be a treat for a special occasion. I just want the management to know that they are really ruining the name for the whole companyy. Although the restaurant looks really nice on the inside the food was absolutely horrible and cold and the service was non existent. I'm sorry for my whole family who I suggested this restaurant to. Tonight, I had the French Onion soup and the Thai Basil Pasta dish. French onion soup isn't difficult to be average. I was presented with a bowl of Luke warm beef broth with onions, croutons and a couple slices of Swiss cheese that went through the microwave oven. After a long time waiting, I received the Thai dish. Tasting it reminded me something from childhood. After a couple of seconds, I realized the Thai dish tasted like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Went on a Wednesday night. Super slow service, and horribly cooked steak. I don't normally order steak from a "non steak house", this was a reminder why. I asked for medium rare and got medium well. The best part was that when the waitress came to pick up my plate with 2/3 of the steak left, she didn't have the common sense to ask if I had an issue LOL.
