This is a very nice restaurant located right on the waterfront. Our family went right around New Years Eve so the Christmas lights were still going at the Parliament building and around the waterfront giving off a nice view from the restaurant. We went during happy hour and my wife had a Bellini ($5) and an Expresso Martini ($10), parmesan fries ($5), and a Baja fish taco ($12). I had a Cajun chicken caesar ($22) and a Dragon Kiss Martini ($10). All prices are Canadian and very reasonably priced. We were both very happy with our service, food and drinks. read more

Poached shrimp, lobster meat, scallop and bacon paired well with vegetable and lemon dill dressing. I liked A lot vegetable. Lemon dill dressing was strong flavor and was very creamy. Delicious. Shrimp and scallop scampi. Creamy pasta with shrimp and scallop and spinach. I just had one bite, pasta was nicely al dente and very creamy sauce. Very good . Stumbled upon this restaurant as we got off our shuttle. They have some nice tables outside with heaters. However, we were a little chilled so opted for indoor seating. So glad we did! Our server, Stephanie was really top notch. She was so friendly and provided us with great service during our lunch. We had been told to try a BC wine (since we are from California) - so we tried the McWatters Chardonnay. It did not disappoint and complemented our meal nicely. Speaking of meal - the Sandwich Trio was amazing. The mushroom soup had a swirl of Basil Olive Oil on top that gave it such a nice flavor. The California salad dressing was creamy but not heavy. Went on a Thursday night during summer season. I was happy with the special on Bellinis and my food was tasty. It was delayed from the res rod my table as the first choice I made had dairy and I can't eat that. I was surprised they didn't push my order faster to catch up. Another person also had theirs messed up because they he chicken addition was sent to another table. That Oder was super delayed so we asked for it to be free. The bar was painfully slow, I was asking for my check before the second round arrived; which was supposed to arrive with food. We asked for a water carafe at the first refill, which never came. The basa fish is a "creamy" white fish that goes well with the aioli, avocado, and tomato. The sweet potato fries are done right, crispy and not too crispy and well-seasoned. Other dishes that my party enjoyed: sirloin steak (rated VERY good) and the portobello mushroom chicken. The sushi bowl with ahi tuna was so-so. The rice in particular is not quite the right consistency for a sushi dish. The ever hard to find double chocolate cookie also makes an appearance here. While I could do without the white chocolate chunks, this chocolate delight still worked for me. The kids of course absolutely loved and devoured it. read more

Love this spot on the waterfront in downtown Victoria. It's the perfect location, especially if you arrive by ferry or float plane to the harbor--just walk right over! Wandering around the beautiful inner harbor of Victoria BC, we came upon Milestones. What a gorgeous setting overlooking the water and right up against Government Street. The dining room is wonderfully appointed and the menu feels sturdy and refined. Yes, I'm recognizing the menu and how it feels in the hands as it's reflective of the restaurant itself. Had a great experience at this location. Even tho it was mothers day and we didn't had reservation they were able to give us a table. We got a nice table with harbor view. My favorite was bloody merry with pineapple, shrimp, mozzarella and kabanos. We had a quick lunch while exploring city during our cruise stop at Victoria. Lovely island with lovely parks and scenery. I took mushroom soup which was too bland for me but spinach artichoke dip and my husbands tacos were excellent. Price was very good as well. Service was very quick. read more

The service and food were just ok. The mixed drinks are pricey, and they served just half of them, as you can see in the picture. The food was just ok. I believe the high prices of all were due to the fact that the location is waterfront. BTW, they have a posted menu at the front door that is no longer available, so be aware that you'll be seeing a different menu upon sitting. I don't think the food or service is not worth the $50+ a person for a small appetizer and a drink. I won't recommend it read more

While walking around downtown, we spotted Milestones from afar. Starving, we decided to give this place a shot before heading back to the cruise ship. Upon entry, I couldn't help but notice the modern decor and view of the Inner Harbor. The day was bright and sunny, which made it perfect to eat and savor the beauty of downtown and the harbor. No apps today since we had to eat and run, so I ordered the Chimichurri sea bass. The fish was tender with the perfect sear. Chimichurri sauce was creamy and delicious, not overpowering. I was a tad disappointed that the dish had white rice instead of the quinoa and rice pilaf as listed on the menu, which was part of the reason I picked this dish. Plating was good, customer service was on point, and food came out timely. Beautiful restaurant to stop by if you want an excellent view of the Inner Harbor. read more

When I asked for the gluten free noodles they "didn't have them anymore". They were still. listed on the menu though. It was suggested I try the rice noodles but it might not be good without the gluten containing sauce or the this or the that without the sauce that makes the dish. Milestones on Wharf Street has been one of my go-to places for years for lunch or a Sunday brunch. I have to confess the last couple times weren't quite as good, but today was poor. The waitress did show up quickly to take our drink orders, but once we ordered food it took about 40 minutes. When food was delivered we had to ask three times for jam and peanut butter, and it took 10 minutes to clear our dishes after we finished eating. The above is easier to forgive if the food is good. The food was lukewarm and had clearly been sitting for a while ... the scrambled eggs on the one dish were congealing. I have been there dozens of times. Not sure if I will go back. read more
