I have been going to MILEX for the several years. Terry and Tom Roche have been able to diagnose any problems I have had with my vehicles and fix them quickly. Their prices are competitive and their service is great. I know I can trust their work and am confident they will not recommend work that is not necessary. This is very important to me since I do not know much about automobiles. The few times I have waited for service to be completed, I found the customer area to be clean with comfortable seating and plenty of reading material as well as TV. Scam practices with rude staff who are replying to these posts! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS LOCATION. I brought my car to them 3/3/26 for a blinking check engine light. Not only did they charge me almost $500 for repairs without disclosing the full picture, they didn't fix the issue and REFUSED to give me a detailed, documented diagnostic report. "We told you over the phone" is shady business!!!!! The newer manager, Eric, is the reason this place is now getting consistently bad reviews. They used to be fantastic! I brought my vehicle to Milex because it would not start. Throughout the process, I was in contact only with the manager, Eric Williams, who told me I would be contacted once they determined the issue. It took approximately one week for Milex to inform me that my vehicle needed a new battery. Three days later, Eric Williams called and told me the battery had been installed and that the total cost would be $600. When I arrived at Milex to retrieve my vehicle, he then informed me the price was actually $900. When I questioned this, he claimed someone else must have quoted the $600 price, even though I had only spoken with him. I explained that I only had $600 and that it was unfair to change the price after the work was completed. He refused to honor the original price and asked what I could pay. I offered $650, but he stated the battery alone cost $489.84 and said he would not give me a battery for free. When my friend, who is knowledgeable about vehicles, arrived and stated we would remove the battery and go elsewhere, Eric Williams then added a diagnostic fee of $164.69 that was not on the original invoice. The next day, I returned and paid the diagnostic fee in full. When we calmly asked about my old battery, Eric Williams stated he had given it to the company he purchased the new battery from. I was never informed of this nor did I authorize disposal of my property. When questioned, he raised his voice, called us "goofys," falsely claimed we were threatening him, and refused to return my car keys despite payment. Police were called. After removing my vehicle, my new mechanic informed me that a Milex technician removed screws belonging to my car, causing additional damage and repair costs. I am extremely dissatisfied with this service and am considering legal action. This complaint is to document these events and prevent similar treatment of others. read more

We have been taking our cars here for about 10 years. Terry and Tom are the most honest and trustworthy guys in the business. The first time I took a car there was after NTB told me I needed $1,000 in work done on my car. Terry looked at it and told me they were crazy! They are both super knowledgeable in what they do and are a complete car care facility. If you need something done they will tell you, if you don't they are always honest and will tell you that too. If your brakes have more life in them they won't just replace them to make a buck off of you. They always deliver when promised and educate you about your car. These guys are the only ones we let touch our cars! read more

I took my Buick enclave in recently as it was loosing power. They fixed my water pump same day. Called me with updates. I've taken my various cars to them over years...even since high school. Terry and Tom are definitely good guys and good at what they do. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I have been going to MIlex exclusively for the past 14 years - NOBODY else has ever or will ever look at my car! They are honest and fair. I never have to question whether or not what they tell me is wrong or that they are just trying to make a dollar. The very first time I went there - I called and made an appointment to get new brakes. They called me and told me my car was done - when I went to pick it up they told me that my brakes "just squeak" (k it was a pretty cheap car!) and to come back in xx miles. They could have given me and charged me for new brakes and I never would have known they just needed an adjustment. I have gone to them ever since! They are great!! read more

Wife took her truck there for the bad BP gas - they told her she was hearing things, and that the truck was fine. The truck died on 294 because of the gas. Then we took it for brakes on the truck - was told the caliper was sticking because of the excessive heat, and should be fine after. A week later, brakes were sticking again. Same problem. Finally, about $1,500 later, we found out from Firestone (when the brakes were stuck again, a year and half later) that Milex never replaced the caliper. read more
