A great dining experience. Received a nice welcome as we were seated on time for our reservation. Kee was a wonderful server. She took excellent care of our large group as a lone server with a large group inside & others to serve on the patio. We ordered French toast, waffles (traditional, key lime & red velvet), chicken, burgers, fries, seasoned potatoes, cheese grits, fried green tomatoes & catfish (not pictured). French toast was returned (not good/burned). But it was immediately replaced by Kee with a hot & fresh waffle. All of the staff was polite, friendly & helpful. The hostess politely took our group photo for us! They did run out of key lime pie slices that should have come with our waffles BUT management quickly satisfied that concern with us!!!! I started off with the Buffalo Spinch dip and added shrimp with a mimosa ... this dish was dope ... great portion size ... the flavors blended very well ... the spice was excellent ... def a 10/10... The yams were undercooked and had a nasty thick syrup texture like it's canned yams with an unpleasant flavor. So me and my friends are down the street (which is right down the street from the airport) that morning because we were waiting on a friend flying in separately. She was delayed further so we were back in the area later in the day for more food. This place was awesome! The whole menu looked so good but we just needed a bite. We ended up with a plate of biscuits each with butter and honey, fried green tomato's and fruit. It was all cooked and served perfectly and they even gave us a side of buttermilk ranch with the fried tomato slices. There was a fried shrimp dish that was off the menu but soon to be back on that I would definitely go back for. 10/10 recommend for a snack stop or full on meal. I ordered a honey butter biscuit, 4 whole wings, salmon hash, and the steak and eggs with potatoes. First, I'm not a biscuit person but this biscuit was delicious. I ate the entire thing and I usually just toss a biscuit to the side. The fried chicken was fried well and seasoned well. Nothing to rave about but you won't be disappointed at all. The salmon hash was okay. I liked the spinach cream sauce but would have preferred grits over hashbrowns and grilled salmon over fried. The salmon and hashbrowns were a little soggy. They would probably be better eating inside the restaurant. My husband had the steak and eggs and he loved it. Oh yes! I finally had the chance to experience Milk & Honey and I am hooked! We were at church and on a whim decided to go eat after service. Upon arrival, we were advised there would be a 45-60 minute wait. As we were all there and parked we decided to wait. As the ambiance of Milk & Honey extends outside the doors, the tone was great with a nice vibes of friends and photos. LoL! As their is an outdoor backdrop, we decided to capture the moment and have fine taking pics. Once our table was ready we headed inside to be seated. The location is on the smaller side, however, they have made great use of the space. You are able to eat comfortably and feel crowded. Our waitress, Rickye, arrived at our table with all smiles. She asked if we had made reservations and when we advised her we hadn't she made us aware that if we do advance reservations ($25 Deposit) we would be guaranteed seating. Shout out to Rickye for dropping that jewel. After greeting us Rickeye went over the menu with us and took our drink orders. Along with the ambiance being up dear and full of energy, Rickye was the exact same. She was super pleasant, engaging, and excited to assist us. A true example of great service. As everything on the menu looked good it was hard to decide. Nonetheless, I decided on the Milk & Honey (Half Regular, Half Red Velvet) Waffle with Fried Wings. Babeeeeeeeeeeeee. It's a great place that's unpretentious and locals love it. The carafe of mimosas is a fan favorite as well as the M&H biscuit. Our server was pleasant, thorough and attentive. Actually the entire staff was. We felt like lunch (however they offer lots of breakfast options all day). The Surf & Turf burger includes a turkey or beef patty, shrimp and turkey or pork bacon. The Seaside is a pasta dish with a huge piece of salmon, stuffed with crab and over penne pasta with spinach and tomatoes. Very tasty and great presentation for a casual meal. Service -- 5/10 The only thing I didn't like about this location was the fact that they ran out of champagne at 2pm and they close at 4. Took us forever to be seated and even longer to be attended to. Our waitress was MIA for some time and we found ourselves constantly asking for silver ware and refills. INCREDIBLE FOOD ‼ We stopped here for breakfast before going to Six Flags, and I'm so glad we did. The atmosphere is very cute with lots of tables inside and on their patio. We were served by Dina who was one of the nicest servers I've ever met! Food came out speedy, hot, and delicious. I ordered the pancake meal with chicken tenders, grits, and scrambled cheese eggs. Pro tip: ask for the Cajun sauce on the side. The pancakes were some of the best I had, and the fried chicken dipped in the Cajun sauce is unmatched. Dina also overheard that it was my friends birthday and surprised our table with a song AND a beautiful dessert biscuit! 10/10 experience all around! Brunched here on a busy Sunday afternoon. I love being able to get great brunch food in my neighbor. READ! They do not take reservations, so please be prepared to wait. Again, they do not take reservations so be prepared to wait! It still baffles me how angry patrons get when it's it very evident you can't/won't be seated quickly. The servers and hosts work very hard to provide updates and friendly service during such high volume shifts. Please be nice to them! Now that is out of the way, IT IS WORTH THE WAIT! The Biscuit - Get it. Carbs don't count in there. I ate mine quicker than I could take a pic. The Lobster Gumbo [10/10]- I will recommend every time. They don't skimp on ingredients, they make it with love and there are NO PORK products in the gumbo. Love that! Crab Hash [9/10] - Crab was great, seasoned well! I just don't think I prefer hashbowns and crab together, that's a me thing. Otherwise, try it! There is only one con, there is no full bar. But they do server mimosa carafes in various flavors for $30 - true to the brunch requirement! The restaurant is small, in need of a little love externally, but has a covered patio, which allows for more seating. Try to go on a day other than Sunday to test it out. Welp! I believe I may have missed the train for a great experience and quality food. I decided to wait until after the hype to visit Milk & Honey. So, I visited on a Monday morning. Despite the upkeep of the grounds and the variety of sitting chairs in front of the establishment I decided to still give this place a try. According to the reviews made prior to mine, I can see that their experiences did not lackluster and seem to also have been some time ago. I ordered the classic milk and honey Belgium waffle ($6), breakfast potatoes ($4), and a coffee ($2.50). The restaurant also automatically includes gratitulty In addition, rather you decide to dine in or dash all meals are prepped in take-out containers. Visual and aesthetics to me are everything in addition to cleanliness. However, I was definitely disappointed. The floors were dirty and sticky, the walk-in entrance seemed a bit of disarray, and the overall atmosphere was unfortunately sub-par. So, let's talk about food. I enjoy sugar powder on my waffles, and my waffle had perhaps a dash of sugar powder, with one strawberry. I also was not a fan of my coffee cup (considering the price). However, potatoes were seasoned and delicious I will say this, the staff was friendly and welcoming. I just wish my experience was better. read more

We had good service, for a busy Saturday our server checked on us often and immediately put in our order. I enjoyed the celebratory atmosphere as patrons took "selfie's" at the picture walls. The music was at the perfect volume allowing conversation to freely flow. We sat in the enclosed patio (it did feel a little toasty with the plastic down). I ordered a traditional chicken wings, mac & cheese and yams- with extra fried shrimp. I was excited for the 3cheese mac and wings meal however, I will not order this again as the wings needed more seasoning and the mac& cheese was not bad but not exceptional. The fried shrimp were the star on my plate- being large, well battered and fried until golden(not too hard). I was not happy with having to pay for water because they only offer bottled water(besides tea, lemonade etc.). The lack of an alcoholic cocktail option for brunch was missing. The grilled salmon with the grits and Cajun cream sauce was my fave! I've never been a fish and grits fan and didn't understand the pairing but after having this dish, I said "I finally get it!" They also have Strawberry Lemonade mimosas which were delish and their award winning biscuit (which is the restaurant's namesake) is to die for!
