When it was time to order, he recommended food selections and helped make the dining experience feel relaxed and welcoming. That kind of service matters. When a server creates a comfortable environment, you don't feel rushed--you relax, enjoy the moment, and the whole experience becomes more than just going out for breakfast. Travis did exactly that. The food was incredible. The flavors stood out, and everything came out hot--not lukewarm like you often get at franchise chains. Between the food, the atmosphere, and Travis's service, I'm definitely going back. Food recommendations: the grapefruit, fried tomatoes, Ox, smoked wings and the French toast. We are here from Cali and of course this place was highly recommended by family. We came on a Tuesday and the atmosphere/vibe was popping. It's a breakfast and brunch spot and there's plenty to choose from the menu. Bianca, was our server and she went over and beyond. She told us it was her first day at this location. I had the whole snapper over grits, and my wife ordered the oxtails over grits. The standout element of the entire meal was the grits. They achieved a perfect consistency without relying on heavy cream or cheese to hide the texture. The fried snapper was also excellent, featuring great seasoning and a golden fry. During our meal, both the manager and the owner visited our table to ensure the service was meeting expectations. This was pretty much all we were happy with. First I'll start with parking. Since we got there early, we were able to park for free. When we left though we noticed cones up and a valet standing where people pull into the parking lot. Maybe it's only during busy times, but this restaurant does not share a parking lot with other businesses. So why MAKE your customers valet park? I do not understand this. They also have automatic 20% gratuity. Does not matter if you're by yourself or with a big party. So onto the drinks.The drink I ordered (Strawberry and mango refresher) was nice but my wife's was not. My wife ordered a chai latte, and it was watery. It had barely any chai flavor as well. When asked if we can get a refund because we didn't want anything else, our server told us no refunds are given and everything ordered is final. So we wasted $10. Besides that our food fell way short from what this restaurant is rated for. Maybe their other food is good but what my wife, our friend and i had, we were not impressed with. I ordered the whisk duo with a side of eggs, my wife got a veggie omelet with potatoes and a croissant, and our friend ordered a chicken sandwich. The whisk duo was ok. The chicken was really good. It was crispy and had good flavor to it, which saved the dish. The French toast bites had seasoning on it but was still very bland. Even with the dipping sauce it was ok, not the best French toast anything I've had. The eggs were ok as well. My wife's veggie omelet was alright. Just tasted like an average omelet. The potatoes were ok and a bit dry. The croissant was not good. It was crumbly on the outside but when you try to tear it apart it felt like tearing a piece of beef jerky! The chicken sandwich was average as well from what our friend said. Everyone has different experiences and like I said before, maybe their other food is good but based on our experience I will not be back here. She was very friendly and hospitable. The vibe was friendly. Our waitress was Jai (I don't think that was her full name) OMG she was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and just made us feel at home. I already made my decision prior to coming in. I ordered the Brunch Board for 2. All I can say is wow. The grits were perfect, bacon had the right amount of crunch, scrambled eggs were cooked soft, I don't normally eat breakfast potatoes but OMG these were so flavorful. The parking situation in pretty bad. Its almost like going to a sold out club having to park a cross the way but it was worth it once we got in. This spot is very high energy and high pace with reasonable prices. This is not a place to linger and chat. They will get you in, give you a good experience, and get you out! It's a busy place. But If you're willing to wait, then wait because this place is definitely worth it. Parking is a little challenging and you have the option to valet or self park outside of the parking lot restaurant. Our waitress was excellent, I believe her name was Alyssa, we were seated by the bar area and this was our first time here. All her recommendations were excellent. From the appetizer of friend green tomatoes that were crispy and tangy, to our main entree. The shrimp and grits were packed with flavor and the dish came out hot. It's a good portion with both plates that we had to take it to go. The shrimp was well cooked with their sauce. Now the oxtail was really good, not a dry spot in the grits with the amount of sauce and flavor mixed in. Big size chunks of oxtail gave you a hearty filling. If you're a fan of oxtail, you have to get this. Meat fell right off and blended in well with the grits all mixed in. Yum. My family and I landed in Georgia on our way to SC. Since it was early morning, I looked for breakfast places. Stumble up on this one, and I'm glad I did. I made a reservation but when we got there it was early, we were seated immediately. Our server Ciara was wonderful to make recommendations and checking on us multiple times. I do want to note that as soon as we were seated, Travis had to give us a disclosure that I assume all servers have to give to their table just so they are aware of procedure with paying your check, having a check over $150, bringing a cake into the restaurant etc. I do not recall what he said but I will say that it took me aback a tad that he had to give a disclosure prior to us orderingh. I'm not from the area but I'd heard of the procedures when dining in Atlanta establishments and this was our first experience. I cannot blame Travis though. This is put in place by owner/management. I'm assuming there are upcharges and guidelines in place for certain situations. Didn't apply to us but it may apply to you so pay attention. Anywho, I ordered vegan egg omelette and it came with toast and potatoes. It was REALLY GOOD and REALLY FRESH and seasoned perfectly. No need to grab salt or pepper in my opinion. My husband had basic pancakes and a chicken sausage on the side and my daughter had vegan omelette as well. Everyone loved their food. This was a great breakfast dining experience. First, there was a good sized parking lot with sizeable spaces. When we walked in we were greeted and seated quickly and the visual setup is nice inside with a window also viewing into the cafe area. Music was at a level that made conversation easy. I attended a Sunday Brunch at Whisk and was highly pleased. The space is beautiful and although it was a gloomy day, it was very bright inside. The smoked wings were a really good appetizer. I had the French toast bites with hot honey chicken for my entree and I would give it at 7/10. The portion size was really good. It is nice have a brunch place on the south side with good service, good flavor, good/low volumed music and no hookah. A little pricey but is still a good Sunday brunch place even after church. The place was packed and we were still seated right away. The place is beautifully decorated white and gold. The bathroom has a few stalls and was clean. We ordered mimosas and a whisk-drop to drink and the brunch board for two. We had 2 smoked chicken wings, 5-6 shrimp, waffles, French toast bites, scrambled eggs with cheese, grits, croissants, and fruit. Everything was delicious. We decided on Whisk after giving it time to settle in on Camp Creek. We didn't have a long wait time. Mainly it was one of my party that decided last minute not to come inside. Any who, there was a hold on food orders due to the kitchen being delayed. That was conveyed to us as we were seated. Then also as we were introduced to our server, Zaire (sp?). He was great! What an amazing experience at Whisk restaurant on camp creek parkway. It was so refreshing to be able to go to brunch and not experience the typical atl brunch service scene. There was no loud music, hookah, repetitive menu items or bad service and I really appreciated that. The amazing service really started with the young men who are running the valet services. All respectable and take their jobs very seriously. Valet is also only $5 and there is free self parking options as well. Upon entry into the restaurant we were greeted by two pleasant young women who kindly sat us in the waiting area until a table was ready. The wait time for a party of two on a busy Saturday afternoon was only 10 minutes, in my mind you can't beat that. We were served by my man Jamarquis, who goes by "J" and he was phenomenal. J greeted us with such enthusiastic energy and gave honest and authentic recommendations. He also made sure to continue checking on us amidst the busy crowds and time of day and that didn't go unnoticed. Now moving on to the food. I'm excited about this restaurant because I can already tell this will be a place I'll be going back to try more menu items. We started with an espresso martini flight and I added on a shot of baileys (which I really didn't even need). The flight came with three different types of espressos, one made with vodka, one with cognac and the other Tequilla. All three were amazing as is and adding the baileys was just the cherry on top. I definitely recommend. After an extensive review of the menu, we decided for our appetizer to try the açaí bowl and I have 0 regrets. The fruit was so fresh and paired perfectly together with the frozen açaí. For our entrees I decided to try to Georgia peach crumble pancakes with bacon on the side. The peach cobbler filling on top is amazing but it's definitely on the sweeter side so be mindful of that. The portion size of the pancake is pretty big too so make sure you pack your appetite if you plan on ordering this item. My group and I were excited to try this spot and we had a great experience. Our reservation was set for 11:30 a.m. on a Saturday and when we arrived we were led to a waiting area. It was super cute and had a cafe serving coffee and other drinks. There was a large table in that room to where people were seated to eat. I did not read anything on their website about having to wait when you have a reservation, but I expressed that to an employee named Unique and she said she would take that feedback to the owners. The reservation holds your spot and they strive to get you seated within 30 minutes of your arrival. They did just that. We were seated by noon. Our server was named Nae and she was so amazing. She was thorough, kind, patient, informative, and helpful. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and of course our food. Everything came out working 20 minutes of us placing our orders and it all tasted so good. The prices were on par for Atlanta. I paid around $65 for a mimosa flight, sweet tea, and the loaded breakfast potato, The flight alone was $40, but everyone at the table had some of it and there was still champagne left in the bottle when we left. No one had any complaints about their food or the service. We even took a pic in this cute little nook at the end of our meal. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to go back. The ONLY drawback was parking. Their lot is not big enough for the volume of patrons, but you can park along the street behind the building. That's what I did. I knew about parking beforehand because it was on their site. They valet at this restaurant or you can self-park on the street. The payment process at the end of the meal was also a highlight. I walked in this place and immediately realized it was the old this is it. But beautifully refreshed! My friend and I had a brunch reservation on a Tuesday and we arrived around 12:30. We got there just in time as it seems like they were getting busier. There's a cafe next door too that you can order from or sit at. Our waiter Rico was amazing. He took his time with us, thoroughly explaining the menu and making recommendations. I had the grilled pork chops with eggs, and potatoes and enjoyed every bite. We also ordered French toast bites.
