It's a breakfast and brunch spot and there's plenty to choose from the menu. Bianca, was our server and she went over and beyond. She told us it was her first day at this location. I've heard great things about this restaurant and had to check out during my ATL visit. I think there needs to be a revamp of its location and their parking situation (and they charge). The best food I've had in a long time! The collard greens were absolutely delicious packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and had just the right hint of spice. I've honestly never had collard greens that good before. The oxtails were also delicious, tender, and well-cooked, although I only received about two pieces. The grits were tasty as well. I came with a large party, so we weren't able to sit in the main dining area and enjoy the view, but it was still a great experience overall. Our server was friendly, polite, and attentive, and the service was surprisingly fast considering the size of our group. The only downside for me was the bill. I ordered the oxtails, collard greens, and a mimosa, and my total came to $75. The food itself was $52, while the rest of the total came from gratuity, restaurant fees, and taxes. Great spot for brunch. I had a party of 4 and I don't think any of us had anything that didn't hit just right. I recommend the French Toast Burger and the Chicken and Waffles for sure! The parking situation in pretty bad. Its almost like going to a sold out club having to park a cross the way but it was worth it once we got in. This spot is very high energy and high pace with reasonable prices. This is not a place to linger and chat. They will get you in, give you a good experience, and get you out! From the appetizer of friend green tomatoes that were crispy and tangy, to our main entree. The shrimp and grits were packed with flavor and the dish came out hot. It's a good portion with both plates that we had to take it to go. The shrimp was well cooked with their sauce. Now the oxtail was really good, not a dry spot in the grits with the amount of sauce and flavor mixed in. Big size chunks of oxtail gave you a hearty filling. If you're a fan of oxtail, you have to get this. Meat fell right off and blended in well with the grits all mixed in. Yum. We had the loaded potato and the whisk duo with the chicken bites and the French toast. The loaded potato was out of this world, it was so good. We got the extra sauce, it's a secret sauce. It's a must have. Whisk Duo was okay so I could get a different dish next time but the loaded potato is a must have. Would I come back? ABSOLUTELY!! I enjoyed everything that I tasted and wanted more but was too full to finish it. Went to Whisk for brunch today and it was hands down the BEST brunch. They accommodated our large family on a Saturday, which already earned major points. While we waited, I had an amazing latte and got to watch the barista clearly put so much care into every drink. The wait was short and once seated, our server Deon(??) was awesome. From start to finish! The last time I patronized the business, they didn't have valet. I did opt to valet for $5. Upon entering, we were seated immediately, i ordered water and a blue berry margarita. For an appetizer, I had the French toast bites and they were very good. For my meal, I ordered the chicken Philly with fries. To my surprise, the server Bri (who I would recommend) realized my birthday was in August. I was surprised with a dessert pancake, which was a nice touch. When the food runner initially brought the pancake initially, we turned it away because we didn't announce the birthday. So she paid attention to detail. The restaurant was clean, lighting was appropriate for breakfast (as we dined at 0945). The music and playlist was nice as well. The only not so great feedback I have is that I do not agree with the platform fee that is included on every check. If a restaurant chooses to use a platform to process their payments, they should eat the cost for the platform use. Charging each individual check, everyday, seems greedy. I also don't agree with paying to park in the parking lot, but hey, it was convenient. read more

I'm not from the area but I'd heard of the procedures when dining in Atlanta establishments and this was our first experience. I cannot blame Travis though. This is put in place by owner/management. I'm assuming there are upcharges and guidelines in place for certain situations. Didn't apply to us but it may apply to you so pay attention. Anywho, I ordered vegan egg omelette and it came with toast and potatoes. It was REALLY GOOD and REALLY FRESH and seasoned perfectly. No need to grab salt or pepper in my opinion. My husband had basic pancakes and a chicken sausage on the side and my daughter had vegan omelette as well. Everyone loved their food. I'll say it was a bit pricey but the freshness, flavor, and service was really nice and made it worth it. Travis had a smile on his face the whole time. Visited Whisk with the hubby for brunch. The space is super cute, very photo-friendly and definitely Instagram-worthy -- perfect lighting and aesthetic if that's your vibe. We ordered the brunch board to share, which gives you a little bit of everything. The eggs, on the other hand, were clearly made from liquid eggs. They lacked that fluffy, rich texture you expect from freshly cracked eggs and felt a bit flat in flavor. The fruit selection also missed the mark for me. While it looked colorful on the board, the pineapple tidbits mixed in didn't seem freshly cut and threw off the "fresh brunch" feel a bit. Now, the peach pancakes absolutely delivered. They were cooked evenly with a soft, fluffy interior and lightly crisp edges. The peach flavor came through without being artificial or overpowering, and the sweetness level was balanced perfectly. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The place was packed and we were still seated right away. The place is beautifully decorated white and gold. The bathroom has a few stalls and was clean. We ordered mimosas and a whisk-drop to drink and the brunch board for two. We had 2 smoked chicken wings, 5-6 shrimp, waffles, French toast bites, scrambled eggs with cheese, grits, croissants, and fruit. Everything was delicious. So onto the drinks.The drink I ordered (Strawberry and mango refresher) was nice but my wife's was not. My wife ordered a chai latte, and it was watery. It had barely any chai flavor as well. When asked if we can get a refund because we didn't want anything else, our server told us no refunds are given and everything ordered is final. So we wasted $10. Besides that our food fell way short from what this restaurant is rated for. Maybe their other food is good but what my wife, our friend and i had, we were not impressed with. I ordered the whisk duo with a side of eggs, my wife got a veggie omelet with potatoes and a croissant, and our friend ordered a chicken sandwich. The whisk duo was ok. The chicken was really good. It was crispy and had good flavor to it, which saved the dish. The French toast bites had seasoning on it but was still very bland. Even with the dipping sauce it was ok, not the best French toast anything I've had. The eggs were ok as well. My wife's veggie omelet was alright. Just tasted like an average omelet. The potatoes were ok and a bit dry. The croissant was not good. It was crumbly on the outside but when you try to tear it apart it felt like tearing a piece of beef jerky! The chicken sandwich was average as well from what our friend said. Everyone has different experiences and like I said before, maybe their other food is good but based on our experience I will not be back here. I attended a Sunday Brunch at Whisk and was highly pleased. The space is beautiful and although it was a gloomy day, it was very bright inside. The smoked wings were a really good appetizer. I had the French toast bites with hot honey chicken for my entree and I would give it at 7/10. The portion size was really good. It is nice have a brunch place on the south side with good service, good flavor, good/low volumed music and no hookah. A little pricey but is still a good Sunday brunch place even after church. We decided on Whisk after giving it time to settle in on Camp Creek. We didn't have a long wait time. Mainly it was one of my party that decided last minute not to come inside. Any who, there was a hold on food orders due to the kitchen being delayed. That was conveyed to us as we were seated. Then also as we were introduced to our server, Zaire (sp?). He was great! It was loud in there and busy but not like some other places. Food: we ordered a Strawberry Lemonade, the pork chops and the Simple South (fish and grits (whiting) with a Cajun cream sauce).
