Hey y'all! I went here with a large group celebrating a birthday. The member who reserved the table was charged a $250 non-refundable fee that must be applied to food and drinks. She was also charged $3 per person for a cake fee (because we brought in our own cupcakes). There is valet parking. I am unsure how much it is, because we used accessible parking. All of these fees and "services" are a nuisance, but on par for brunch spots and Atlanta restaurants. The excellent part of the experience was the food, drinks and service. There is one vegan breakfast platter option. I ordered Fried Green Tomatoes, Grits with cheese, Croissant and an Old Fashioned. Everything was perfection. I didn't use any additional seasoning. Even the fried green tomatoes didn't need the remoulade or feta cheese, they were perfectly seasoned as is. I sure hope they were vegetarian friendly lol . I rate everything I ate an A. I sampled the French Toast Bites, they were good but fried too hard for my liking. The birthday girl was gifted two mini plates of cinnamon roll bites, they were delightful and perfect for sharing. While in ATL I was looking for some good breakfast spots and found whisk. We went on a Monday it was a little busy but we waited no more than 5 mins to be sat. Our waiter Carl was so awesome I hope that's his name! It was my birthday so they gave me French toast bites they were delicious and I'm not really a sweets person. We also had the fried green tomatoes and I will say they were the best I've had. Entrees for our table was Smoked Oxtail Hash, The Ox, Say What Omelette, and the Loaded Breakfast Potato, everyone said their food was delicious 10/10. The inside is so beautiful it reminds me of some restaurant I've been to in Cabo and they had soft music playing nothing too loud, such a great ambiance. I've heard great things about this restaurant and had to check out during my ATL visit. I think there needs to be a revamp of its location and their parking situation (and they charge). The best food I've had in a long time! The collard greens were absolutely delicious packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and had just the right hint of spice. I've honestly never had collard greens that good before. The oxtails were also delicious, tender, and well-cooked, although I only received about two pieces. The grits were tasty as well. I came with a large party, so we weren't able to sit in the main dining area and enjoy the view, but it was still a great experience overall. Our server was friendly, polite, and attentive, and the service was surprisingly fast considering the size of our group. The only downside for me was the bill. I ordered the oxtails, collard greens, and a mimosa, and my total came to $75. The food itself was $52, while the rest of the total came from gratuity, restaurant fees, and taxes. A group of us from church visited after service just to fellowship and enjoy some time together. It was a mixed bag experience. Pros: 1) Most of the food and all the desserts was really good. 2) The food was very reasonably priced. 3) Our server did the best she could under some very difficult conditions. I'm not sure whether they were short staffed or just didn't schedule well, but there appeared to only be one person for our very large section. More wait staff was definitely needed, but she tried... Cons: 1) Parking was a nightmare. I ended up parking in a shopping plaza about a quarter of a mile away. 2) We were a large party, and had to pay $250 to book the reservation. That amount was charged towards the overall bill, which is the first time I've ever heard of such a thing. 3) Despite having a reservation and paying a $250 deposit, it took an hour to get seated. For that amount of money up front I fully expected our table to be ready and waiting for us when we arrived promptly at our reservation time. 4) There were issues with some of our party's food, and drinks. While they did remove the items off the bill, they did not remove the drink. They did bring the person another of the same drink. 5) Getting the bill sorted was a bit of a headache. Also when it initially came it had both a 20% and a 25% gratuity added. I don't know if the business has had bad experiences with issues with customers that they're trying to guard against, but it was a disappointing experience. I'm torn on whether I'll try them again or not. If so, it most definitely won't be a weekend... read more

The parking situation in pretty bad. Its almost like going to a sold out club having to park a cross the way but it was worth it once we got in. This spot is very high energy and high pace with reasonable prices. This is not a place to linger and chat. They will get you in, give you a good experience, and get you out! It's a busy place. But If you're willing to wait, then wait because this place is definitely worth it. Parking is a little challenging and you have the option to valet or self park outside of the parking lot restaurant. Our waitress was excellent, I believe her name was Alyssa, we were seated by the bar area and this was our first time here. All her recommendations were excellent. From the appetizer of friend green tomatoes that were crispy and tangy, to our main entree. The shrimp and grits were packed with flavor and the dish came out hot. It's a good portion with both plates that we had to take it to go. The shrimp was well cooked with their sauce. Now the oxtail was really good, not a dry spot in the grits with the amount of sauce and flavor mixed in. Big size chunks of oxtail gave you a hearty filling. Went to Whisk for brunch today and it was hands down the BEST brunch. They accommodated our large family on a Saturday, which already earned major points. While we waited, I had an amazing latte and got to watch the barista clearly put so much care into every drink. The wait was short and once seated, our server Deon(??) was awesome. The place was packed and we were still seated right away. The place is beautifully decorated white and gold. The bathroom has a few stalls and was clean. We had 2 smoked chicken wings, 5-6 shrimp, waffles, French toast bites, scrambled eggs with cheese, grits, croissants, and fruit. Everything was delicious. There is automatic gratuity added on tabs over $50, and if you pay through their QR code with a card, there's also an additional service fee -- something to keep in mind. But a lot fell short for us: * French toast bites: way too greasy. * Grits: just decent, no creamy richness or fun add-ons like we've had elsewhere in the area. * Eggs: clearly liquid eggs, not fresh-cracked--noticeable difference. The food overall was fine-to-good in places, and it matched the fancy setting presentation-wise. But the prices? Not at all justifiable for the ingredient quality and portions we got. We decided on Whisk after giving it time to settle in on Camp Creek. We didn't have a long wait time. Mainly it was one of my party that decided last minute not to come inside. Any who, there was a hold on food orders due to the kitchen being delayed. That was conveyed to us as we were seated. Then also as we were introduced to our server, Zaire (sp?). He was great! It was loud in there and busy but not like some other places. Food: we ordered a Strawberry Lemonade, the pork chops and the Simple South (fish and grits (whiting) with a Cajun cream sauce). Very tasty! As we had Strawberry Lemonade (strawberries were frozen in the ice cubes). A very nice touch. I had the 760 am. Very light and refreshing! Vodka was the driver. I attended a Sunday Brunch at Whisk and was highly pleased. The space is beautiful and although it was a gloomy day, it was very bright inside. The smoked wings were a really good appetizer. I had the French toast bites with hot honey chicken for my entree and I would give it at 7/10. The portion size was really good. It is nice have a brunch place on the south side with good service, good flavor, good/low volumed music and no hookah. A little pricey but is still a good Sunday brunch place even after church. This place could have easily gotten 5-stars. Everyone was SO NICE and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. This place is cute, trendy, and has a modern atmosphere. We were seated immediately. First glance of the menu and seeing that a basic coffee with cream and sugar was $4, I already knew that the check was going to be expensive. But also noticing that they offered plant based options made me extremely happy! Our server, Travis was so great! I do want to note that as soon as we were seated, Travis had to give us a disclosure that I assume all servers have to give to their table just so they are aware of procedure with paying your check, having a check over $150, bringing a cake into the restaurant etc. I do not recall what he said but I will say that it took me aback a tad that he had to give a disclosure prior to us orderingh. I'm not from the area but I'd heard of the procedures when dining in Atlanta establishments and this was our first experience. I cannot blame Travis though. This is put in place by owner/management. I'm assuming there are upcharges and guidelines in place for certain situations. Didn't apply to us but it may apply to you so pay attention. Anywho, I ordered vegan egg omelette and it came with toast and potatoes. It was REALLY GOOD and REALLY FRESH and seasoned perfectly. No need to grab salt or pepper in my opinion. My husband had basic pancakes and a chicken sausage on the side and my daughter had vegan omelette as well. Everyone loved their food. I'll say it was a bit pricey but the freshness, flavor, and service was really nice and made it worth it. Travis had a smile on his face the whole time. I noticed that the staff were very helpful to one another and it appeared they all got along well too. It was really just an overall very nice, friendly, and welcoming vibe. If I'm in the city again, I'd return for sure. read more
